This was my second shoot with Dominika, this time as part of her studio day at the Den in Chippenham. Dom had a great selection of outfits for the shoot focusing on fashion and portraits. We managed to shoot a range of different look and Dominika was excellent in producing great poses and expressions. Her blonde hair and blue eyes produced captivating pictures capturing the essence of sophistication and also a soft vulnerability. Dominika was fun to work with and could react to feedback from the back-of-camera.

I highly recommend Dominika and look forward to future shoots.

It was a great pleasure to meet and work with Dominika, at The Den Studio, on her return to modelling after a two-year break.

Dominika was an absolute joy to work with. She brought a large selection of outfits with her, to match the styles discussed pre-shoot. Her posing is very natural and accomplished, she could work without direction but was also happy and willing to take on more challenging sets with a little direction.

Her professional approach, talent and adaptability ensured that we achieved a great variety of styles in a three-hour session. Her friendly and happy personality meant that we and had a very enjoyable time in doing so.

I would be very happy to work with Dominika again and I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending her as an excellent and versatile model to work with.

Where do I start?

This is an interesting one as Dominika was a complete unknown to me before I booked her and Helen Diaz on a shoot on Monday 27th May 2019. Port notes almost non-existent but references going back a long time and excellent. She had the highest recommendation from Helen which was more than enough.

So, after a bit of a mystery tour I finally arrived a little late! Another story though. Hello to everyone and I when I felt OK to carry on. Dominika first.

A most pleasant woman and soft spoken. Her English is not perfect but no need to be put off as she is perfectly understandable, spoken or written.

A lovely dress sense and a very graceful and elegant poise and movement. Not once did I have a sense of having to do all the work or being told how to shoot. Having not photographed a model in 382 days, nervous as hell. This was a shoot of equals, two-way communication of ideas, tips and so on. My nerves went in the first half dozen shots.

To my surprise very easy to talk to, not a Diva, no smug sense of superiority, no complaints, no problem. Full of life which is very catching.

Immaculately turned out whatever she was wearing which suited her down to the ground. Absolutely nothing fake or artificial about this one. Minimal use of makeup, which was just eyeshadow and lipstick at most, most suiting.

I never used my tripod or my remote release.

Started with a red dress and in the garden and results from the start. Always mentioning places to shoot, angles, ideas. No problem with the changeable weather when it clouded over or the wind picking up. More than happy to sit down for poses too which is nice.

A coat was added later then finished off with a last couple of shots in a sheer lace dress. By then the weather was too bad with the cloud (light gone) and the wind. Next door’s neighbour after the scare earlier then decided to mow the garden too so off indoors.

The Dining Room shots were even better, making use of the diffusion and natural light, lovely elegant poses throughout.

It’s so nice to get feedback when as is my habit pausing periodically to show back of camera.

Finally, we finished with Dominika on the Sofa in the Living Room. Me photographing her that is! Some of the best portraits I have of her came here and down to her ideas too.

Throughout, the more I photographed her and the longer the hour went on, she just got better and better, when I thought I got superb results she went and topped it!

In 1 hour, 177 shots and very few are duds on my part.

As a photographer too, her photographic expertise shows throughout in the results from this shoot.

One of the most pleasant and professional people I have ever met.

It does seem 1 hour photographing her really is not enough. We ended up with this in 1 hour, what could result in a longer shoot?

There is no way her age is correct! She looks 21 tops!

I really cannot claim the entire credit for this as the results were equally down to Dominika too.

Like I always say to everyone I know, Twiggy is 70 this year. Really age is just a number! Beautiful is a well-used description but it’s true. It’s what’s inside that counts!

Now 382 days later, this completely unexpected chance to photograph models again and in the first 6 shots I got my touch and confidence back.

I cannot put any price on that.

Words are not enough to express how highly I recommend Dominika as a Model and I would also equally as a Photographer too.

There are several on Purpleport that in my professional opinion really deserve more work and references than their ports actually have.

Anyone looking for a Professional to book, this is another I have found!

I absolutely, no hesitation, when I am in a position to do so, would work with her again.

Trust is so vital in this field, especially between model and photographer both ways. It was an absolute joy and pleasure to photograph Dominika. It is also a reminder to me to continue to never go on first impressions. Helen recommending her is the reason. Otherwise I would not have considered or booked her for my initial reasons to start with.

One of those people who positively and unexpectedly make such the deepest impression!

Such kind understanding when I was unable to see for a few minutes during the shoot but fortunately, I was soon able to fix my sight.

A new experience for me photographing a Blonde and someone who is not English and a lovely experience too! Serendipity!

Age is just a number. To be this good does take ages!

I worked with Dominika again recently- this time at my home in Wiltshire. It had been around 2 years since we last modelled together and it was so lovely to catch up! It was Dominikas big return to modelling after a long period of time away and so she was a little nervous but needn't have been as she is such a natural in front of the camera, with stunning hair and eyes that lend themselves so beautiful to portraiture and beauty!

Dominika is a very kind and considerate person to work with and happy to help when needed. She is a very talented photographer herself and can give direction when needed- but equally is very respectful and is happy to go with the photographers suggestion.

Dominika is a lovely friend of mine and I hope we get to work together more over 2019. Highly recommended to all and welcome back! Helen x

I had the privilege of shooting with Dominika on her return to modelling after a short break. This was with Helen Diaz with whom we were able to get a number of duo shots. Dominika was able to show her experience and professionalism through a range of classic portraiture shots, taking direction and feedback from the camera. Oh my goodness, what a captivating and magnificent model this lady is ! We have shot together 14 times now and each time she gets more alluring and never ceases to amaze. She has the rare gift of being able to act out a part and go through a range of emotions, coming alive in front of the camera to create wonderful and inspiring images.

Nika also amazes on the other side of the camera. As a portraitist with deep insight into humanity she seeks out subjects of character and charm. Her empathetic photographs of the young and old, from all walks of life, disclose the inner emotions of her subjects, revealing the stories behind the faces. Her photography and modelling are complementary, each reinforcing the other.

I do hope Nika and I continue working together both as co-photographers on joint shoots and with her as in the modelliing role. She will always inspire me !

After an enjoyable shoot modelling for Dominika as a photographer earlier in the year, I was keen to experience working with her on the other side of the camera.

I was aware that Dominika had a penchant for leather fashion as well as motorcycles and it just so happened I had recently acquired one.

With the summer weather still available everything fell into place for an exciting shoot.

We planned our attire in advance to ensure perfect colour coordination and complimentary styles.

Dominika brought with her a great level of enthusiasm and energy together with an incredible look which really brought the shoot to life!

This made for a really fun day in the sunshine. I highly recommend Dominika and look forward to working with her again :-D

I have a soft spot for Domi - she's a bud - she gets me drunk, we have a laugh and she’s all around great company ... and to top it all she is one of the loveliest people you could ever wish to meet … she’s not too bad at modelling too! ;)

I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days with Domi doing fashion/street type work as well as mixing it up with a little boudoir type stuff too.

Domi is such good fun to work with - she’s a natural and absolutely gorgeous model who has a real classy grace to her every pose - we got so many really beautiful photos.

I had the great fortune to work with Dominika and Helen Diaz on a charity shoot they had arranged to raise funds for a Children's Hospice.

Dominika was great to work with and threw everything in to the shoot. She has fantastic looks and can really get in to working the poses to create some great photos both on her own and with Helen. I really enjoyed working with Dominika and hope that we can work together again.

I worked with my lovely friend Dominika at Full Moon Studios on a 9 hour studio day recently raising money for The Childrens Hospice. Dominika had wanted to do something in memory of her Mother, so we came together and joined forces for a studio day, raising money for terminally ill children. It was a lovely day, hard work but really enjoyable!

We managed to raise £650 with giftaid and it was such a fantastic, productive day! It was Dominikas first studio day and she did SO well- especialley as it was a very long day with three bookings and working 9 hours in total alongside breaks! (And doubly amazing considering Dominika works full time shiftwork outside of modelling and had to be up early for work the following day also!) Dominika is very hardworking, professional, kind and considerate to work with and has a great work ethic. I absolutely loved her company and always have such a laugh when we are together. She poses fluidly and effortlessly and was very organised, bringing a suitcase full of beautiful clothing, shoes and accessories with her.

If you are looking for a hardworking model please get in touch with Dominika. She is not only a beautiful model, but a lovely person, who wont let you down- and a lovely friend. Super highly recommended, thankyou for being my partner on the day and really hope to see you soon! Helen xx

Just had a great shoot with Dominika at her charity studio day at Full Moon. Dominika is a fantastic model who is very friendly and easy to work with. She is very professional, poses effortlessly and has a great range of outfits and accessories.

I had an all day fun shoot sesh with the beautiful person called Dominika recently!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow, wow, wOW & WOW!!!! :)

this was our second shoot ... our first was brief and certainly, from my perspective, left me wanting the whole Domi experience - I was lucky enough to spend a whole day together with this gorgeous person doing all sorts of random stuff around the streets of Bristol and later in a hotel room too. :). we terrorised folks in the hotel I'm sure but the shots were worth it! :)

She arrived on time, with a vast amount of clothing and accessories to choose from, and plenty of great ideas of her own. In my dreams I am the celebrated photographer Jacques Henri Lartigue and Dominika is my muse Renée Perle. We would wander around 1930's Cannes and Biarritz spending our lives capturing on film her "halo of magic" :)

Back in the real world Cardiff, Bristol and Oxford are equally enchanting when in the company of Dominika who has that same "halo of magic" transported to the 21st century. Each of the many shoots we do gets better than the previous ones and Dominika's modelling for me gets progressively more amazing. The expression "living the dream" is oft-quoted ...... I think I may just have an insight into what that really means. After seven shoots I don't want to wake up !

Thank you Dominika for putting up with my navigational iidiosynchronicities and my random brainwaves :D
