After much planning and ideas for several months, I got to photograph Dominika again on Friday 4th November 2022. This was a 2 hour shoot from 10am at Ashton Court.

Like previously, a last minute change of location but not a problem as we both know it well.

As always a pleasure to correspond with. Her usual immaculate turnout with signature gold eyeshadow and red lipstick. Lovely winter coat and red dress and high leg boots. Most suiting.

We wandered off through Ashton Court throughout the grounds. Keeping away from the Mansion House and other areas and keeping to the woodland, trails and wide open spaces.

For 2 hours, time stood still, yet again. I never have the sense (whether for 1 hour or most commonly 2 hours) that this is a Photoshoot, a task to be completed.

Just a most enjoyable time spent together!

Her communications are excellent. Lovely dress sense too. She has a wonderfully expressive and fluent modelling and posing.

Local knowledge too. As being taken to a very interesting tree. Her photographic expertise is readily apparent. Full of tips and suggestions on what to do. I do love that she will promptly pipe up if there is a problem. Whether in communications or on the shoot. Even as simple as I can’t look there as the sun is in her eyes.

On that point I am usually lost in her eyes! So I have had a habit of more portrait and head and shoulders shots. Happily this time more full length and more fashion type in Autumn as I intended.

I am sure the photographs speak for themselves!

Guaranteed results. I only need 15mins with Dominika. Every shoot is a collaboration.

Never a problem, a shoot is never treated as a trial of strength, before, during or certainly after.

The only “problem” is picking what to post as there are so many wonderful photographs.

Again…Just a most enjoyable time spent together!

On that note, everyone should book Dominika and I have every intention of photographing her again before Christmas!

Did a mid-day afternoon, outdoor location photo session or 'walkabout'.

With the lovely DominikaW, met up as arranged, at Ashton Court, Bristol.

It made a change to work with her outdoors, in a different environment.

Met up at Courtyard Cafe, went from there, house, garden, grounds.

She had been there a few times, knew some photo spots, got good results.

Good interaction between us as a photographer, photo model, as persons.

She as a photographer with a good eye, made suggestions which worked.

Started from rose garden steps, trees, avenues then open ground, estate.

Start in stylish blue suit outfit showed her blonde hair facial features. Changed to a dark brown woollen outfit, which suited the spot where were.

Time passed unnoticed we were in a 'flow' photographically, it was good.

The great thing about working with Domi is that you not only get a lovely model, but also someone with a photographer's eye who is as enthusiastic as you are about getting the best shot in any setting. It makes the shoot a true collaboration and tremendously enjoyable, as well as helping to deliver some wonderful images. Recommended for photographers of all levels.

Ghost Light Photography

A second shoot with Dominika, and an absolute joy once again. This time we mostly focused on some one light set ups and covered a number of fantastic themes. Dominika poses beautifully and takes great care creating just the right look.

We were able to explore some new ideas and through great two way communication we built on our previous experience to create some more beautiful images. Dominika was quick to understand what I was looking to shoot and fully engaged with suggestions to further develop the concepts we were shooting.

Had a smashing studio shoot last Sunday with Dominika. Prior to our shoot I discussed with Dominika the style of images I wanted to create. We agreed a general theme for our shoot. She had a host of clothes to choose from.

It had been nearly three year since my last face to face shoot. Domi was the perfect model, her relaxed and professional approach made life easy for me and there was some added humour thrown in along the way too. You always know you are on a winner when you can share a laugh.

Time simply flew past but I left sure I had some great images.

It was my pleasure to be shooting with Dominika at the Heaven Bodies Studio. I was particularly keen to experiment with some new creative lenses and thank Dominika for her patience whist setting up various lighting profiles. We shot a number of portrait scenes with and without flowers. Dominika is a natural ,in front of the lens creating some lovely, dynamic poses that accentuated her lovely hair giving some lovely moody pictures. It was a great shoot and the time flashed by. Dominika is highly recommended

This was my second shoot with Domi, and just like the first, the time flew by. Dominika had a good range of outfits that suited her. She's vey easy to work with and loved helping with ideas. It's really hard to pick one good shot from today as all of them (350) had something worth looking at. I'm not sure how I'm going to pick the best for my page.

I highly recommend Domi and look forward to working with her again.

Bit of an impromptu shoot with Domi, at The Den. Decided to use the lovely garden available. Late afternoon sunshine made the shoot, very pleasant and relaxed. Domi provided a number of changes in dresses, allowing for a more romantic, boho look. She is able to provide lovely changes of expression and takes and understands direction so well. How I love to spend a peaceful Sunday afternoon, camera, beautiful light and a lovely soul to share it with. Photographers, you really need to plan a shoot with this lady, location or at the Den, or anywhere else really. You will not be disappointed. It is a pleasure to leave Dominika her 100th reference here on Purpleport! 🌹

We recently booked Dominika to photograph our wedding anniversary at Saint Mary Redcliffe Church in Bristol and had such a lovely few hours, photographing both inside the gothic church and outside in the beautiful gardens.

It was such a special day; a trip down memory lane and so good to be back in the place we were married!

Dominika was one of our wedding photographers and one of her stunning photographs is hung proudly in our hall. It was one of my absolute favourites from our wedding!

We finished off the photoshoot with a picnic in the grounds which was so enjoyable, it was a gorgeous day.

The photographs looked beautiful, Dominika gave excellent direction and is a complete joy to be around. As a person she is a very kind, professional and compassionate person to work with; trustworthy and reliable. Aside from this she is a really dear friend.

We really looking forward to seeing the results!

Domi was excellent throughout. Pre shoot messaging was very easy and she understood everything I had in mind. On the day, Domi was ready to go as soon as I was and she was straight into work with no warm up shots required. She poses without direction and very naturally, waiting to hear the click of the shutter before moving on. When direction is needed she's responsive and eager to get the image right. Costume changes are done awiftly and we managed five different sets in two hours. As expected, I'm delighted with the results and very happy that I've got a good set of images to upload in time. They say never meet your heros - Domi is an exception!

This was the first time I have worked with Dominika and trust that it will not be the last. Our shoot took place at the ever-friendly and accommodating "The Den" studio, where we were also able to do some outdoor shots in the pleasant garden that adjoins it.

Other reviewers have praised Domi's professionalism and I agree. She is calm and confident and I found her warm and harmonious throughout our shoot, which was punctuated by plenty of good conversation. We focussed on four simple scenarios, plus a summer dress session outside. Everything went smoothly and enjoyably: a key highlight for me is that Domi is skilled at expressing different looks and moods, and switching between them; she offers variety and depth of expression, which (I believe) we were able to capture on camera. She can even smile on request !

So thank you Domi for a pleasurable and productive shoot. I hope that you like some of the images when you get to see them.

Absolutely adore this lovely lady and I'm lucky enough to count Domi as a good friend - such a creative and beautiful soul in all respects. We've shot together so many times and every time they just get better and better! :)

Domi was kind enough to put me up and put up with me for a couple of days recently. Between drinking the obligatory coffees we shot for a day in Burnham-on-Sea and another day in Bristol - all location stuff - and … Oh My Goodness we got amazing photo after amazing photo.

Domi has such a natural way of posing but also a fantastic artistic eye, this makes her super duper easy to work with - she’s not too shabby I confess ;)

I’m not sure how Domi puts up with all my randomness and weird namby pamby creative stuff but I'm so glad she does as it really shows in the end results. Seriously well chuffed with what we got.

My one problem I have is having too many cracking shots to process - not a bad situation to be in I guess.

But do I recommend Domi? She's freakin' amazing! so a big YES!!!!

2nd shoot with delightful Dominika.

What a rare find she is, both a fantastic model and a fascinating person.

Chatting between shots, we found we have a lot more in common than could be imagined which helps build that rapport and "intimacy" helping the process produce so many images that we both found pleasing.

Dominika has the ability to completely change her look by the slightest movement of her head, eyeline, raising an eyebrow etc.

Absolute pleasure working with Dominika, no superlatives sufficient, highest recommend imaginable.

Im already thinking of next shoot!

We recently had another highly successful studio day with the amazing Dominika hosted with us at "The Den" studio and it was such a full, super productive and highly enjoyable day!

Dominika is simply amazing with applying her hair and makeup to high standard and also a natural stylist with picking wardrobe and accessories to compliment the look and theme of the photoshoot. Dominika excels in fashion and commercial work and is very professional, kind, hardworking, highly and extremely reliable.

There are so many beautiful images from todays shoots in the studio credited images and its clear to see how much photographers enjoy working with her. Super highly recommended as always, Helen & Roger x
