Meet and Greet team
So we are slowly coming back after a very long break from shooting. 2019 will see only extremely limited number of shoots as Marcin has one more treatment to go through before we can go full speed again. Through the last long months we have not been on PP much and I have million messages to read, but please feel free to write to us again as it may take us a while to dig down to the older ones. I will try to be much more regular here now :-) Thank you everyone who were patient with us for such a long time.
Hi, this is Marcin and Sylwia here from the Quality Pixels.
So far we have found on PP some great, passionate models and make-up artists and we try our best to engage in projects that would benefit all the team.
We are of course open for new collaborations, but we have to be selective as we have limited time and always a long queue of images to be processed. If you are a model (or designer, make-up and hair stylist) full of enthusiasm for what you do, and you would like to appear in our images, please send us a word.
Please note, we add some of our images to stock libraries and/or may sell them as prints (or in other form) and so in case of TF shoot we will ask you to sign a model/artist release form (unless agreed otherwise). (Please read our TFP and model release documents carefully before we shoot together, you can find them here http://www.qpixels.com/documents/). To make things very clear, if we work TF the only compensation we offer are prints (yes, we always send them) and digital images. We may use images commercially. If we have a chance to credit the team we always do so.
Please do not alter our images, do not add filters to them, do not crop them if not necessary (if it is for your profile photo on Facebook or avatar here or anything like this, where certain dimensions must be met, then we can understand it of course, but otherwise please keep it as it was intended to be).
If we work TFP it is not a free shoot for us, we pay for the venue, props and often dresses, and to minimise no-shows and last minute cancellations we will ask you to be in touch with us during the last 10 days before the scheduled shoot. If you know you would not able to answer our emails in this time (we understand people travel and may have some other reasons), please give us a warning. If we do not have such warning and do not hear from you reasonably quickly during these days, we will cancel the shoot to avoid unnecessary expenses. We hope it does not sound unreasonable, we are just trying to learn from the past experiences.
We now also ask models to have their ID on them so we can have a look, we will of course do the same and show ours. It is just for a safety of all parties involved.
If you are approaching us, we assume it is TFP collaboration, please do not ask us for paid work. We also do not pay travel expenses.
All our pictures are retouched by ourselves. If you are considering working with us please have a look at our port and how we process the images. We often do beauty retouch and we may alter body shape or some other details, remove piercings or tattoos (and so on), if we judge it beneficial for a given image. If you do not want any of these changes please discuss it with us well BEFORE the shoot.
PLEASE NOTE, SILKY, OUR SPHYNX CAT IS OFTEN PRESENT AT OUR SHOOTS, especially if we work in a studio. Most of the time he is just asleep in his bed or on our necks, so there are small chances he will bother you. If you are allergic to cats (or afraid of them) please let us know in advance and we will leave him at home.
BIG THANKS TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS FOR YOUR KIND WORDS, LIKES AND ENCOURAGEMENTS. It adds wind to our wings and cheers us up when things are tough.
All the best
Marcin and Sylwia

PS Please note, we have a very long TFP queue list at the moment, so there may be very long waiting time involved. If you talked with us earlier and we said yes, you are in our diary and we will contact you to schedule your shoot when we can (we usually schedule the exact date about 3 months ahead). If you do not hear for too long, please give us a shout. We try to remember about everyone but mistakes happen, so please be patient with us but poke us if you think it is necessary.
As we usually work on images only at weekends, we are not super speedy with post-production. We try to provide the first images in a week or two, but - depending on the level of processing required - sometimes you will wait a long time before you get the last image from the shoot. This said, we do our best to be quick. But we will always choose quality over quantity and speed. If you want your images quickly, then unfortunately we are not a good match for you.
As nowadays we can schedule very few shoots and we have a very long TFP queue, the situation becomes frustrating for ourselves and we guess for models too, as waiting time is too long. It is becoming worse and worse and it proves the current system does not work. Thus, we will not keep making the queue and scheduling shoots in more or less chronological order any more. If anyone is interested in working with us we will add them to the "possibilities of working together" list and then for every project or idea we want to shoot we will contact models (well in advance of course) we believe are a good match (because of their style and because of what they told us they want to shoot). This is not a perfect solution, as some may still wait for a long time, but we cannot find a perfect solution atm, and this way at least we will go for the best possible result, not just for ourselves but everyone involved. This said, those who are in the queue at the moment will have a priority of course, we will not break any agreements made, but please, please, please be patient with us. We are doing our best.
