Dave and I have had the pleasure of working together on a few occasions now, once again working on his qualification status. We arranged a shoot at his home studio working with a studio set up.

Dave's pre shoot communications were excellent and everything was arranged within a short time.

Throughout the shoot Dave was polite and professional, and conversation easily flowed. As with before he was friendly and approachable. This time he'd set up to shoot tethered to a TV monitor so I was able to see myself on the big screen which I found very useful! I was able to suggest pose ideas and little tweaks to the poses as we went as well, which Dave was happy to listen to.

We captured some absolutely gorgeous images and I can't wait to see what the edits look like!

As usual I'd highly recommend Dave and I look forward to hosting my studio day in his lovely studio!

I hosted a studio day here at Sowton Studies and also shot with Dave himself.

Firstly, his studio is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. There's a wide variety of places to shoot and a variety of lighting set ups, meaning you can capture a lot of different themes and moods.

Secondly, Dave is incredibly professional. He wasted no time at all and was really speedy at capturing some beautiful images. He knows exactly what he wants from a shot and he knows how to capture it with no faffing around. Not to mention he is a really lovely guy. I felt very safe around him and was interested to hear more of his stories. He is extremely kind and hospitable. I felt very at ease in his studio and he even went out of his way to help me get home at the end of the day. I would have absolutely no doubt recommending him.

I had a lovely shoot with Dave, modelling alongside Ell Mae.

His precomms were excellent and professional, I had a good idea on what to pack and what style of shoots we would be doing. We shot at his home studio, which was well equipped. He knew the shots he was looking to achieve, but mainly left me to my own poses so everything flowed really well on the shoot. He gave great feedback while shooting, we got through loads of sets!

I would definitely recommend him, and would be delighted to work with him again in the future. Thank you!

Bunny Moonshine

I've shot with Dave many times now and he is such a joy to work with.

I'm so grateful to Dave for coaching me and providing a space to develop my skills before sending me out into the world of modelling.

The latest shoot was fantastic as always, we organised a studio/duo day for a new model and Dave put together a brilliant Halloween set, and experimented with light painting to produce some really cool shots!

We also did some portraits, which are some of my favourite shots ever 🥰 it was a great day.

This shoot was organised with Mr Dave by my good friend and mentor, Bunny. Bunny couldn't speak highly enough of Dave and so I was already comfortable from the get go. Dave is a lovely, friendly person who puts you at ease.

I'm very new to modelling and Dave was very patient with me throughout the shoot and very good at providing feedback and suggestions when it was obvious I could do with some direction.

I love the shots that were produced from our afternoon working together and they have enabled me to put together a portfolio on here and really move on to the next phase of building my new hobby of modelling.

Dave's studio is also brilliant, he has lots of options for different styles of shoots and plenty of props for you to work with too.

I look forward to returning to his studio soon 🥰

Where to start! Mr Dave is simply wonderful! Very kind,caring and attentive! Always around if you need anything. Has a beautiful studio and some lovely sets so creating beautiful images is so easy! Would highly recommend Mr Dave’s studio if you haven’t been already!

It had been quite a number of years since we last saw one another and I have felt drawn to connect and see Dave again for some time.

We have shot a number of times before, one being abroad on a trip to Cyprus and then various other times since.

Dave is such a beautiful soul, he really is a genuine, kind-hearted man, whom has set up his home as a studio and it truly is such a wonderful space with an open plan kitchen/diner with ample space for backdrops, lighting, features a beautiful boudoir bedroom with lots of natural light too and stunning gardens and a summer house all set up in a moroccan theme.

I felt so comfortable staying with Dave again and we shot a few hours both solo and then I assisted Dave shooting Lou Breeze, a fellow model who's just starting out in the modelling world who I was duoing with the following day.

Dave put myself and Lou up for the night, we enjoyed some pizza and good conversations :)

I always enjoy working with Dave and he really is a very talented photographer too... this time we shot some glamour style images for a panel he is putting together to get critiqued so he can learn and advance more in his skills. I absolutely LOVE what we created together.

Dave is such a joy to work with, and today's shoot was just as good! We arranged a relatively last minute shoot and within just a few messages our shoot was confirmed - this just shows how good his pre shoot communications are.

We were working on his lighting again, working our way through a variety of different light set ups and he absolutely nailed them!! I'm so happy with what we created and truly think they're gorgeous, the lighting was incredibly flattering and we got a lot done.

Dave is great company and really easy to chat to, so of course we captured fantastic shots and had a good old natter too!

I highly recommend working with Dave!

I had another shoot with Dave, and again he was working on his ongoing project. In all honesty its a joy to be a part of this project, and be able to help Dave achieve what he hoped to.

Dave is a joy to be around, he makes you feel at ease straight away and we jumped straight into the first set. Dave has great perseverance and to watch h his images improve time and time again really is fantastic.

Furthermore, Dave's studio is lovely. It's a really lovely place to shoot and has so many options for sets. He's always on hand to assist and from start to finish of my time shooting with another photographer in his studio, he was absolutely amazing.
