Yet another shoot at Dave's where Bunny and i were again made very welcome, coffee and more importantly advice lighting and best options for camera settings,a great guy who cannot do too much to help!

A big thanks to him for setting up props as requested for proposed shoot.

What can I say, Mr Dave, what a pleasure to work with 😊

This was only my 3rd shoot and I instantly felt at ease and happy when I arrived. Mr Dave had some specific shots he wanted and I actually found this a really handy experience as had to stand in certain poses.

Mr Dave is absolutely the right mix of professional and friendly. His studio is beautiful and he makes you feel really at home.

Dave has a beautiful selection of outfits he's just purchased and it was so much fun having a look through and trying some.

I had a really lovely time and could not be happier with my photos. I hope Dave will have me back again as I'd love to work with him again.

I shot at Dave's home studio yesterday, booked with a prompt response from Dave. Dave is a top bloke, always friendly always helpful. I have used Sowton studios lots of times before and the place always produces awesome shots. The place has awesome natural light and his garden and summer house is set up beautifully.

If you need a local studio in the south west I highly recommend using Dave's place if it's free.

Got to shoot with Dave on my first tour to Exeter and shot at his very impressive studio and luvly home and gardens :)

Dave was very helpful and accommodating with me planning my tour and offed his brilliant studios Sowton studios for the day as a place to shoot from. Dave was perfect host offered refreshments got studios sets and lights redy for the photographer also provided some absolutely stunning dresses for us to shoot with :)

I’m so pleased I got to shoot with Dave as well we had a really fun and productive shoot :) he had clear idea what he wanted to shoot and we shot fashion sets in the garden for his fashion project he knew what he was doing with the lighting and gave great direction for the fashion poses. We also shot some portraits and art nude in the studio results back camera look brilliant Dave is So nice helpful great photographer and awesome studio highly recommended :) I’m looking forward to planning another Exeter tour and hope to stay at mr Daves for few days next time thanks Jen :)

I had my first tour to Devon this week . Dave host me very nice and friendly . He picked me up on time at the train station and send me to train station on my different shoots. I also got many shoots with Dave in his home studio . I really looking forward to the photos . Dave has a beautiful house to shoot and I like his dog a lot . I hope can had another tour here before this year . Highly recommended!

I was travelling down to Plymouth for my short Devon tour so thought it would be rude if I didn't pop in and see Mr Dave.

We had a great catch up and a lovely relaxing and productive shoot.

Dave was getting to grips with flash outdoors and wanted to practice a bit more so we did a variety of different fashion looks in the garden as well as some fashion/art nude sets inside in the studio.

Dave was super as always and great company.

I will look forward to going back again soon.

Dave is a fantastic photographer and a really lovely person. He was very understanding of the need to postpone our shoot after I became ill and was also incredibly accommodating when our planned shoot venue had partially shut, so he happily winged it!

His pre shoot communications were excellent, well thought out and then well delivered on the day. He also included an item or two he'd like to shoot so I knew the types of items to pack for the shoot, which is always super helpful to me.

We were working on fashion images towards his certificate and he showed fantastic knowledge of lighting outdoors, despite being relatively new to that concept. He happily made adjustments to the lights as we went throughout the shoot and the back of camera shots looked fantastic.

Dave was polite and professional throughout and conversation easily flowed - we even sat back in my garden and had a good chit chat afterwards! He's a truly lovely person and one I couldn't recommend highly enough - thankyou for a truly fabulous shoot!

Dave attended my most recent group shoot Aphrodite and im so pleased that he did.

Although we spend a lot of time together It's been a while since Dave and I have properly worked together on a shoot, so it was great to put each other to the test and create some beautiful images out of the studio.

Dave it easy to get along with and works well as part of a group. Although Dave wouldn't agree, he's a very sociable person,

laid back and great fun to work with.

Had a great shoot with Khaleesii at Dave's studio recently. Dave was very helpful with setting up and was on hand for any queries. Nice chap, nice facilities and a good photographer with lots of knowledge. Highly recommended. I do hope I get a chance to visit the area again and will definitely be going back to Dave's place for another shoot. Thank you for being a great host.

I had a group shoot at mr Dave studio it is a great set up you can create lots of different vibes / theams such a great photographer they all made me feel welcome it was a lovely shoot and hope to shoot agin we even did some Beauty shoots of my makeup which turned out great ! 100% recommend

Summers Abroad

We have hosted Dave on a few abroad events in the past but he had never managed to make it to one of our UK events, so I was so excited when he booked on to our ‘Face Your Fears’ event with his good friend Terry.

The two could easily be a double act haha! They are so much fun to be around and after knowing Dave for numerous years now we always look forward to hosting him and catching up :)

Dave is incredibly friendly, makes a great addition to any event and the social atmosphere and always comes away with fabulous images. He is an organisers dream attendee!

Highly recommended and hope to see him again in future either in the UK or abroad!

Dave was one of the first creatives I met during a recent Summers Abroad Manor Event and from the very first introductions I knew we'd get along well! Meeting him first outside of a working environment gave us both the chance to have a chat and get to know each other which made the following shoot day run extremely smoothly. He was working on a specific idea which we worked on throughout the shoot involving light set ups and I've got say, his lighting is exquisite - I loved everything about it, from the even light on my face, to the way it made the dresses sparkle and shimmer.

Dave put me at ease from the very beginning and I felt entirely comfortable in his presence, he caries himself like a true gentleman and it was a pleasure to help him on his photographic journey that day. Conversation easily flowed and it was amazing to have a sneak peek into an obvious friendship with his shooting partner, Terry. The laughter that filled the room all day made me genuinely warm and happy and I'm so grateful to have met them both.

Dave was a pleasure to work with and has an amazing eye for detail, never being afraid to tweak things if necessary and the back of the camera shots were truly lovely!

It was so good to shoot with Dave again after such a long time!

We did some fashion shots outside which I really enjoyed, we were lucky it was quite a warm day.

The shots on the back of the camera looked amazing!

I am new to PP and the modelling world so I was nervous but excited for my shoot with Mr Dave. He was helping me to build a portfolio for my PP page so the shoot included a range of different styles and outfits, from lingerie to some glorious dresses Mr Dave had!

Before we got started, we had a good chat about the shoot, as well as outfits and PP. He made me feel completely at ease and comfortable. We used a variety of backdrops at his beautiful Sowton Studio and he was friendly and professional throughout, helping me to work on my poses and facial expressions.

I had a brilliant time on this shoot and was so happy with the results. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again soon!

I met Mr Dave for the first time last week whilst shooting with Tinkerbella and I sincerely hope it will not be my last.

I really enjoyed working at Sowton Studio and although I didn't take full advantage of all the lighting set ups available I could see that the studio is very well equipped and nicely laid out.

I found Dave to be very helpful and appreciated his presence in the back ground on hand to help with anything that was needed.

I can see myself returning here many more times in the future, highly recommended.
