I hosted a group shoot at Dave's studio last weekend which went down a treat.

As always Dave is a great host, the studio has everything I need and more and Dave is always happy to change anything I need to make the set I want.

I had a group shoot at mr Dave studio it is a great set up you can create lots of different vibes / theams such a great photographer they all made me feel welcome it was a lovely shoot and hope to shoot agin we even did some Beauty shoots of my makeup which turned out great ! 100% recommend

Summers Abroad

We have hosted Dave on a few abroad events in the past but he had never managed to make it to one of our UK events, so I was so excited when he booked on to our ‘Face Your Fears’ event with his good friend Terry.

The two could easily be a double act haha! They are so much fun to be around and after knowing Dave for numerous years now we always look forward to hosting him and catching up :)

Dave is incredibly friendly, makes a great addition to any event and the social atmosphere and always comes away with fabulous images. He is an organisers dream attendee!

Highly recommended and hope to see him again in future either in the UK or abroad!

Dave was one of the first creatives I met during a recent Summers Abroad Manor Event and from the very first introductions I knew we'd get along well! Meeting him first outside of a working environment gave us both the chance to have a chat and get to know each other which made the following shoot day run extremely smoothly. He was working on a specific idea which we worked on throughout the shoot involving light set ups and I've got say, his lighting is exquisite - I loved everything about it, from the even light on my face, to the way it made the dresses sparkle and shimmer.

Dave put me at ease from the very beginning and I felt entirely comfortable in his presence, he caries himself like a true gentleman and it was a pleasure to help him on his photographic journey that day. Conversation easily flowed and it was amazing to have a sneak peek into an obvious friendship with his shooting partner, Terry. The laughter that filled the room all day made me genuinely warm and happy and I'm so grateful to have met them both.

Dave was a pleasure to work with and has an amazing eye for detail, never being afraid to tweak things if necessary and the back of the camera shots were truly lovely!

It was so good to shoot with Dave again after such a long time!

We did some fashion shots outside which I really enjoyed, we were lucky it was quite a warm day.

The shots on the back of the camera looked amazing!

I am new to PP and the modelling world so I was nervous but excited for my shoot with Mr Dave. He was helping me to build a portfolio for my PP page so the shoot included a range of different styles and outfits, from lingerie to some glorious dresses Mr Dave had!

Before we got started, we had a good chat about the shoot, as well as outfits and PP. He made me feel completely at ease and comfortable. We used a variety of backdrops at his beautiful Sowton Studio and he was friendly and professional throughout, helping me to work on my poses and facial expressions.

I had a brilliant time on this shoot and was so happy with the results. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again soon!

I met Mr Dave for the first time last week whilst shooting with Tinkerbella and I sincerely hope it will not be my last.

I really enjoyed working at Sowton Studio and although I didn't take full advantage of all the lighting set ups available I could see that the studio is very well equipped and nicely laid out.

I found Dave to be very helpful and appreciated his presence in the back ground on hand to help with anything that was needed.

I can see myself returning here many more times in the future, highly recommended.

Over the years ive heard so may lovely things about Mr Dave. Not only by models but other photographers too. They would say have you been down to stay with Mr Dave? and i finally got to yaaay. I got the train down to Exeter and Dave was lovely enough to collect me from the station and bring me back to his home. I got to meet Roxy and Ruby two lovely black labs, im a total dog person and they where so well trained and friendly and just a total joy to see every day. I stayed for three or four nights total and was working from Mr daves home studio Sowton studio. Its a sham to call it just a home studio though because its set up better than a lot of other professional studios ive been in. Plus it has a lovely bedroom setting and a big private garden. We got to shoot together for a couple of hours as well which was lovely. He has these huge gowns in his model wardrobe so that was a lot of fun. We are already talking about my next trip down. I cant wait.

Mr Dave is a great photographer and a pleasure to work with. This was a location shoot on the East Devon coast at midday! Dave is fantastic for giving direction and is a highly experienced photographer, his technical skills are great and he provides excellent constructive feedback to help you develop further which is a skill in itself.

The end images were great and I look forward to working with Dave again.

It was a first time I was staying at the Mr Dave's studio after a recommendation from a photographer who wanted a shoot with me while I was in the area. Mr Dave is a perfect host, chatty, friendly making sure my stay was as happy and enjoyable as possible. His dogs are lovely and well behaved. His studio is fantastic, well equipped, specious, with well designed outdoor space too and many different sets to choose from. It was very joyful experience to shoot there.

Thank you Mr Dave and hopefully I can stay again when I will have some shoots booked in Exeter :)

Another shoot with Dave! However I was behind the lens on a shoot at Dave's studio with Jason and Jade Alexandra! Dave was very welcoming and was so helpful teaching me and Jason about his set up and how to use the studio! It was so wonderful talking to Dave and being able to use his equipment to take some gorgeous pictures! I couldn't have asked for more!

I had my first visit to Mr Dave's Studio, something I knew I would have to do a long time ago. Jade and Chloe joined me on this shoot and we all had a great experience.

Dave was friendly and very helpful indeed. I suggested to him that we would benefit from his advice and showing how he would set up the equipment for each set, and he did that role for the whole shoot, stepping in when we wanted to relocate to different sets and then stepping back for us to shoot. It was easy to get great results.

There are well designed and furnished set spaces which get updated periodically so there's always something new. The studio facilities are well equipped and quite extensive given the indoor spaces and the outdoor spaces.

All in all this was a great day, a great place, and a great host. Highly recommended!

Wow what a wonderful time I had.

I had my first shoot with Dave today after a taking a back step for a while and Dave did such a fantastic job of getting me back on track.

From start to finish he’s really accommodating, professional and enthusiastic. He did a fantastic job at trying out new things and venturing into seeing what I can do. Loved his spontaneity and quick thinking and doing everything possible to get the best pictures.

Get shooting with him and if you have use of his studio then grab that opportunity. It’s got to be one of the best set ups iv seen yet and did dividends for my poses and how much I could do.

100% Recommended!

The sun was shining and he brought the most gorgeous dresses for me to wear, what more could I ask for.

A quick but fun shoot, Dave has a hot tub now and I just had to use it! His efforts from setting it up to getting different angels was brilliant! The set up was beautiful too! Can't wait to see the finished results!
