I was lucky to shoot with Dave again, this time during a Summers Abroad event. I've already worked with Dave multiple times so I knew we would get on like a house on fire and we certainly did! We had an absolute blast, and worked together well to get great shots. Dave gets along with anyone and he worked well with his shooting partner, taking it in turns to get great shots. I felt comfortable and respected throughout and would happily recommend Dave to others!

Yay! I’d heard so much about Mr. Dave for so long, and finally, I got the chance to work with this amazing person. Everything people said about him was absolutely true. Dave is genuinely friendly, easygoing, and a talented photographer who makes you feel completely at home. He knows how to create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with great music, fun chats, and a relaxed vibe that makes the shoot feel effortless.

Our session went wonderfully! Even though I was a bit late, Mr. Dave greeted me with a big smile, offered me tea, and did everything to make me feel comfortable. He encouraged me to choose outfits, share my ideas, and also had a lot of creative concepts of his own. He’s truly a master of lighting—he knows just how to set it up to create fantastic shots. The attention he gives to every detail really shows in the final photos.

I had such a great time and am so happy with the results. Thank you so much for welcoming me into your studio, Dave! It was a fantastic shoot, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Hopefully, we’ll get to work together again in the spring or summer. Thanks for an incredible experience!

I had my first shoot with dave today at sowton studio's, he was absolutely lovely and made me feel at ease straight away.

I did a boudoir shoot as I'm plus size and have been feeling very self conscious about my weight as of late and thought doing that style of shoot may boost my confidence and make me feel good again..

Dave helped me feel amazing in my own skin and i started to feel less shy and nervous, he was very kind throughout, his ideas and communication was brilliant and I felt comfortable despite being out of my comfort zone

Would 100% reccomend and would love to work with dave again

Wow, 8 years since I've seen this lovely guy, 8 years since we've worked together and I've stayed at his wonderful place, Sowton Studio near Exeter.. I shouldn't have left it so long! A lovely friend, and always so supportive, helpful, generous, interesting, a great photographer and a brilliant host.. and I loved my most recent shoot with him, a couple of weeks ago.

You are a delight to know, Mr Dave.. the shoot was incredible.. professional productive, efficient and it's effortless working with you. Communication is always spot on regarding shoots, but also we have a crazy giggle both on set and behind the scenes during downtime.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Dave to absolutely anyone.. one of life's wonderful humans. Thank you x

Thank you so much Dave for letting me stay again. I really enjoyed chatting and watching tv with you and Roxy when taking a break. You are an awesome father figure and close friend to me. Keep taking photos and editing and keep your studio going as long as you can, before passing it on so it never ends. You are an amazing generous man. It feels like home, very safe and welcoming. I had the chance to work with Dave again at Rawpics Studio for my model day, I last worked with Dave 10 years ago.

Just as i remember Dave is Such a lovely, genuine guy and very easy to work with, we got through loads of different sets and changes and the time flew by. Looking forward to seeing the pics from the day.

Dave and I have had the pleasure of working together on a few occasions now, once again working on his qualification status. We arranged a shoot at his home studio working with a studio set up.

Dave's pre shoot communications were excellent and everything was arranged within a short time.

Throughout the shoot Dave was polite and professional, and conversation easily flowed. As with before he was friendly and approachable. This time he'd set up to shoot tethered to a TV monitor so I was able to see myself on the big screen which I found very useful! I was able to suggest pose ideas and little tweaks to the poses as we went as well, which Dave was happy to listen to.

We captured some absolutely gorgeous images and I can't wait to see what the edits look like!

As usual I'd highly recommend Dave and I look forward to hosting my studio day in his lovely studio!

I hosted a studio day here at Sowton Studies and also shot with Dave himself.

Firstly, his studio is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. There's a wide variety of places to shoot and a variety of lighting set ups, meaning you can capture a lot of different themes and moods.

Secondly, Dave is incredibly professional. He wasted no time at all and was really speedy at capturing some beautiful images. He knows exactly what he wants from a shot and he knows how to capture it with no faffing around. Not to mention he is a really lovely guy. I felt very safe around him and was interested to hear more of his stories. He is extremely kind and hospitable. I felt very at ease in his studio and he even went out of his way to help me get home at the end of the day. I would have absolutely no doubt recommending him.

I enjoyed a fantastic studio day at Mr Dave's yesterday (my second visit) and we creates more amazing images! Mr Dave is a brilliant studio host and photographer, he is full of ideas and creativity and I'm really pleased with what we achieved. I hope to return again soon! 😊

I had a lovely shoot with Dave, modelling alongside Ell Mae.

His precomms were excellent and professional, I had a good idea on what to pack and what style of shoots we would be doing. We shot at his home studio, which was well equipped. He knew the shots he was looking to achieve, but mainly left me to my own poses so everything flowed really well on the shoot. He gave great feedback while shooting, we got through loads of sets!

I would definitely recommend him, and would be delighted to work with him again in the future. Thank you!

I've shot with Dave many times now and he is such a joy to work with.

I'm so grateful to Dave for coaching me and providing a space to develop my skills before sending me out into the world of modelling.

The latest shoot was fantastic as always, we organised a studio/duo day for a new model and Dave put together a brilliant Halloween set, and experimented with light painting to produce some really cool shots!

We also did some portraits, which are some of my favourite shots ever 🥰 it was a great day.

This shoot was organised with Mr Dave by my good friend and mentor, Bunny. Bunny couldn't speak highly enough of Dave and so I was already comfortable from the get go. Dave is a lovely, friendly person who puts you at ease.

I'm very new to modelling and Dave was very patient with me throughout the shoot and very good at providing feedback and suggestions when it was obvious I could do with some direction.

I love the shots that were produced from our afternoon working together and they have enabled me to put together a portfolio on here and really move on to the next phase of building my new hobby of modelling.

Dave's studio is also brilliant, he has lots of options for different styles of shoots and plenty of props for you to work with too.

I look forward to returning to his studio soon 🥰
