References for Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

It was my 2-nd work at Basford Hurst Cottage Studio (but 3-rd visit in total) and I feel always very welcome there by Leanne and Simon plus this place has endless options so I am sure that I will be back in 2024 few times (twice for sure).

Working with Rebecca Perry there was long waiting dream for me as photographer to be become real and it finaly happend.

I had my first shoot at Basford yesterday and was totally bowled over with the whole experience. Just an amazing location with so many shooting possibilities. Leanne could not have been more helpful. I came away with so many fab images and looking forward to returning very soon!

Had my second half day shoot at Basford working with @irida. Leanne was on hand for anything I required including cups of tea :) We used a few of the available rooms and also did sone shots outdid in the gardens and grounds. I was fortunate with a lot of sunshine which made using natural light very easy - although I did use some of the studio lights as well.

A great place to shoot with so many options and possibilities . Highly recommended :)

I had my second shoot at Basford Grange Cottage. It is delightful place with many areas to take stunning images. This second shoot was an evening in Novemmber so dark outside. Nevertheless there are enless oportuinites.

The icing on the cake is the delightful Leane, who makes you so welcome and is so helpful. She was was beautiful light stand for for one set one of images using Snoot lighting and engaged into the jobe with pleasure and fun.

I was made to feel so welcome! It's a truly beautiful location with so many different shoot opportunities, I cannot recommend Basford Hurst cottage enough! 😁

There's a huge range of environs and backdrops, with many rooms offering excellent natural light.

Leanne is also an excellent host - every want and need catered for.

Hugely recommend you shoot at Basford, an experience not to be missed! - And hope to do so myself again soon!!

My 2nd visit to Bashfordhurst cottage studios, this time shooting with ownwr Miss_C (no pressure).

I was made to feel so welcome from the moment I arrived until i left, with chocolate biscuit in hand.

It is a truly remarkable place with so many different options for shooting. The natural light is stunning and I love all the nooks and crannies and secret stairwells and various staircases.

I got some amazing shots and still working through them.

All in all a fantastic place to shoot and i am already planning my next shoot with Miss C.

Back to Basford for my 5th shoot now. As always a friendly welcome and cup of tea from Leanne on arrival. It's a great credit to Basford that I can keep coming back and finding things I want to try and shoot.

Exceptional 'studio' with limitless options in situ and an amazing local area full of incredible locations to compliment it. Unfortunately, the weather was not conducive to any outdoor or location work for my shoot with Miss_C yesterday (but that has the bonus of making a return visit an imperative).

Despite very dull weather I was able to shoot almost exclusively with natural light

Already looking for another opportunity to work here and with Miss_C as soon as possible.

Very, very highly recommended. One not to be missed!

Leanne is wonderful, super welcoming and always on hand to help out if needed. The location is stunning and the natural light is beautiful.

More space than a 'Cottage' has any right to have, and styling in every single room (of which there are many...)

Not to mention admin and organisation that are (as they say) always 'on point'.

I had my first visit to Basford Hurst Cottage yesterday to shoot with the lovely Misuzu. A lovely warm and friendly greeting from Leanne followed by a tour of the house/studio and a very welcome cup of tea. Leanne was a perfect host and was on hand to assist with anything we required during our stay.

Reading some of the many wonderful references that have already been written I noticed the word Wow appears quite often. Wow is definitely a serious understatement. As soon as you arrive at the property it’s obvious that this is a very special location. Set in beautiful surroundings, the House (I know it’s called a cottage but it’s much bigger than any cottage I’ve ever seen) Is fabulous (another understatement :-)) The weather wasn’t suitable for shooting outside so we only shot within the main building but even so we were spoilt for choice. So many beautifully decorated and furnished rooms and settings to choose from and all with amazing natural light or the opportunity to use lighting if desired.

Leanne and Simon have created something very special here and I hope to return and explore even more of its beautiful and unique shooting opportunities.

Needless to say, an unreserved 100%+ recommendation to all photographers and models. Book a shoot here as soon as you can, you’ll be very happy that you did.

I had my second shoot today at the outstanding Basford Hurst Cottage Studio. What can I say about this most beautiful of photographic studios that hasn't already been said by so many models and photographers? Well, all I can add is that you should try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I was shooting with the gorgeous Tatiana, we'd booked a four hour slot for the morning. We were greeted by lovely Leanne, the owner, and given a very warm welcome. She spent some time showing us around and answering questions before letting us get on with our shoot.

I'm super pleased with the images created today at this fantastic cottage and would be very happy to shoot there again and again and again :)

I had a fantastic experience working here for a first time. The studio is located in a beautiful house, boasting a variety of shooting sets that provided a unique backdrop for my shoot.

One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to pose with various beautiful necklaces available in changing room for models to use, adding a touch of elegance and charm to the photos. The studio's attention to detail was evident, and I appreciated the clean and organized setup, which allowed for a seamless and enjoyable photoshoot.

The two gorgeous bedrooms, along with the drawing room featuring a fireplace and large windows, provided a diverse range of settings for capturing different moods and styles. The abundance of natural light streaming through the windows added a soft and flattering glow to the photographs, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

I cannot praise Leanne, the studio owner, enough for her friendly and welcoming attitude. She made the entire experience truly delightful.

In summary, my experience at Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location was amazing. The combination of the picturesque location, versatile shooting sets, and Leanne's hospitality created a memorable and enjoyable photoshoot. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a comfortable and creative environment to capture beautiful moments.

This was my second shoot at Basford this time with Miss_C as my model for the day.

Great location with lots of beautiful natural light to work with, even in these shorter days.

As this was my second visit to Basford I was concerned I may not find new areas of the studio to work in but how wrong I was, the studio has so many unusual places in which to work which I didn’t see first time around. After 4 hours I came away with lots fabulous images.

The owner Leanne, was so helpful and accommodating and assisting with the movement of furniture and props to create the scenes I was looking.

I will be making a return visit as there are many more possibilities with this studio to explore, I still haven’t worked in extensive outdoor area yet, But I will as soon as the weather permits.

Just had my second shoot at Basford, this time with owner Leanne, we worked together for the whole day and I feel like I've only just scratched the surface of what can be achieved here. We were blessed with a bit of good weather which gave us the opportunity to explore the private woodland, which is fantastic. The cottage is great too, an abundance of natural light combined with rustic period features makes it a great space to get creative.

Just as I was on my first visit, I was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable, Leanne is a great host and excellent model.

Get your shoot booked, you won't regret it, 100% recommended.

What an amazing location and brilliant hosts. Leanne couldn’t have been more helpful both before the shoot and during. This is such an incredible location with so much choice in settings we didn’t get to do half of what we wanted even over 4 hours. Highly recommend Leanne and Basford Hurst Cottage and can’t wait to go back and shoot there again

This was my fourth shoot at Basford Hurst and as I have said before, I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is, without a doubt, my favorite place to shoot and as near a perfect location, both inside and out, as anyone could wish for. I am in awe of Leanne and Simon for the wonderful work they have and are continuing to do there. It really is a classy location!

I think it would also be appropriate to mention Leanne and Simon's kindness and hospitality. It is always a pleasure to see them both and, as has been mentioned in the references left by many on here, their generosity, friendliness and the welcome received are second to none.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my visits to Basford Hurst and as I have already booked, am looking forward, impatiently, to my next visit in 2024.
