Firstly, thank you for visiting my portfolio.

Update September 2023

I am a Staffordshire based photographer and I have been shooting portraits for around four years. However the last 18 months I have been on a little hiatus and shooting other genres of photography. You can see more of my portrait and other work on my Instagram. 

I believe the current images and references on my port represent the standard of my work and who I am as a photographer. 

Shooting with me

I am very laid back during a shoot but I do have a clear idea of the images I want to achieve and will work towards getting them. I am also happy to work with any ideas you have regardless of if I have paid for the shoot or if it is a TFP. I am not really big into half day shoots and I am more than happy to shoot for two hours which is why I tend to book models when they are on tour at studios I like to work at.  Booking models however has become less frequent due to the cost but I still shoot half a dozen or so times a years. 

I am comfortable shooting both natural light, in a studio and have a portable lighting kit I bring along to shoots.

TFP

My comms prior to shoots are generally good and I will usually send a small mood board with a few ideas. I will also turn up when and where I say I will.

I will happily shoot TFPs as long as I feel we can both get some great images for our ports. I would also appreciate a small mood board from you so we both have a clear idea of what we are shooting. I also like to agree the amount of images you require before the shoot and where they are going to be shared so they can be sent to you in the correct format and size etc. 

If we are shooting in a studio I will usually cover fees and I am happy to travel to you (within reason) to reduce your travel expenses.

When can I shoot?

I don't keep my calendar upto date on here but I am free most evenings and weekends. 

The Roaches Networking Event 

I also arrange an annual networking event at The Roaches in the Staffordshire Peak District. This is an event for both togs and models to attend free of charge to take a few images and have a chat. If there is enough interest I will put together a little shoot schedule so everyone gets a few images and some shooting time. This will run on a Sunday in the middle of August (TBC) and is TFP.
