One of the regular visitors to the bird feeder just outside my kitchen window. The image was shot through the window which I confess was not the cleanest but it seemed to work out OK. I like the way long lenses knock out the background.

Technicals. 150-600mm @600m, ISO 2000,F6.3, 1/200th sec. This is a Tamron G2 lens and I was testing out the image stabilisation hand held, seems to work a treat! I could never hand hold a lens at 600mm/200th without image stabilisation. This image has had light adjustments in Lightroom to brightness, saturation,vibrance and contrast. The only use of software sharpening was minimal on screen output.
