I had another sublime shoot with the inimitable Mel a few weeks ago at Rainbow Studio, and have been totally slipshod in not writing a reference sooner.

Shooting with Mel is always a pleasure, and this was no different. You can rely on her to produce great poses, strong and angular looks, and fabulous images. She’s also great fun to work with a good craic also guaranteed. Looking forward to working with her again!

Had a most excellent shoot today with Mel as we created many brilliant images. Mel is yummie, funny, entertaining with a zany personality that I really enjoyed, and on top of that an exceptional model that is really good at what she does and effortlessly goes from one pose to the next, making sure it right and good for exactly making the image you are wanting to create, Time went all too quickly as it was lovely enjoyable shoot, Mel is such a pleasure to work with in the studio or on location, simply just brill, recommended ?? You bet !!!!! :-)

I got to work with Melissa at Paul's Manor House event. This is the second time I have worked with Melissa and again great communication during the shoot. Melissa had taken a break from modelling and I am pleased she has started again.

The shoot was relaxed with time to review images and tune the pose to take things to the next level.

I would be happy to shoot with Melissa again in the future. Maybe even for PhotoLondon 2017.

Following on from Astolat's comment I had a short notice shoot with Mel today. The theme was broadly to capture the feel of the Shrimpton shots of the '60's. Mel was truly phenomenal in terms of her feel for the make up, hair and costume of the period. Posing was easy and she is full of her own ideas. Bright, bubbly, professional, punctual and charming. Cannot recommend too highly.

Three hour shoot with Melissa today but could so easily have been much longer. Time whistled by. Mel is a lovely person to be with - fun, chatty, warm and interesting. She is also very beautiful with great poise, style and elegance. Her posing is varied and never forced - there is a fluidity here which makes a real difference. She can pose with attitude when appropriate and could easily have been a Bond girl. She also often reminded me of Jean Shrimpton in her facial looks.

I feel we only scratched the surface of possibilities here. Melissa is a very talented model and I look forward very much to our next shoot. Highly recommended, naturally.

Excellent pre shoot comms. Turned up on time and ready to shoot with a variety of outfits.

She is really great to work with. Very professional, down to earth, extremely hard working and fun.

Her poses are great, and she also takes direction well. Her look and figure are divine. The results are excellent as usual.

I would not hesitate to work with Melissa again.

I just love working with Mel and I'm so glad her mum is now well enough for her to continue her carreer . We have done 2 shoots over the past couple of days and I especially appretiated the way she put herself out to do the shoots with me. It was my second shoot with Melissa, a last minute booking and I must say she's great to work with, is well organised and very well accessorised!

We also made a short film together which I hope to post up v soon! The pictures I got from the shoot were amazing and I will be posting these shortly!

Ghost Light Photography

I had the great good fortune to receive a message from Melissa asking if I would like to shoot her with another model. After checking she had sent this to the correct photographer, we quickly arranged an evening shoot at her hotel. Ideas were exchanged ahead of time and communications were excellent throughout.

We met in the hotel bar and after recounting some of our tales we headed up to the room where we were able to further develop our shoot plan. During the shoot we continued to work together developing ideas between the three of us. Melissa obviously poses well but is also generous in her modelling, working to create the best possible image.

It was tremendous fun working with Melissa and I have no hesitation in recommending her most highly.

I had an amazing shoot with Melissa on Tuesday. After I got over my amazement at seeing such a wonderful model casting so close to where I live, we arranged the shoot in record time with Melissa kindly agreeing to an early to start to fit in with my schedule.

Our two hours together flew by. Melissa is a dream to work with - well prepared, well turned out and well... just the right kind of crazy :-) We came up with some great ways to use the location, and had a lot of fun doing it. Put simply, a perfect shoot.

So I have been wanting to shoot with mel for longer than I can remember, she had always inspired me and I believe she has such a professional outlook on the industry which is really inspiring. Mel is tall, elegant and beautiful and would highly recommend her to any photographer.

I'm really glad we got to shoot and had such a good time, she poses with ease and showed me the ropes for many styles that I really appreciate.

Mel is a fabulous model, very easy to got along with, arrived on time, very patient, I had some flash trigger issues which she helped me sort out. Mel came with a few outfits which I requested, she is a thoroughly profession model and a real pleasure to work with, I would recommend working with Mel without hesitation. After the initial issue with the lights we ended up with some fantastic images, she even went behind the camera and took a few shots of me! Thank Mel I would be delighted to work with you again.

Mel is one of those wonderful models where you know what you're going to get - a most professional shoot, with some great banter, a clear understanding of what's wanted from the session, and fabulous pictures at the end of it.

My second shoot with Mel and I'm convinced it will not be my last. Mel is relaxed, enthusiastic, professional, adventurous and friendly. Happy to take direction and can flow from one pose to the next without any direction. Today we have shot a magnificent set of art nude that exceeds the set from the previous shoot. I highly recommend Mel as a model to work with, no matter if you are an experienced photographer, or if you are new to shooting with models she will be really helpful with her knowledge of posing & studio lighting.

I had another Awesome shoot with Mel recently. She's well organized and always well prepared for a session. Mel makes your life so easy as her posing ability is so accurate and efficient, she knows exactly how to read the situation and pose accordingly.
