Arranged a shoot with Wendy at short notice on her recent trip to Birmingham. Her pre-shoot communications were excellent, and following my suggestion of a retro 70s theme for the shoot, she came really well prepared with headscarves, necklaces, long socks etc to help make it authentic.

Wendy posed naturally with very little direction needed from me, and I'm very pleased with the resulting images. She was friendly and chatty throughout and also gave me a some useful tips for solving the problems with my temperamental strobe light!

Renaissance and I first met some years back as our paths crossed when we worked as a hired duo together for the first time - it’s always nice getting to work with other models (it’s quite often the only way you meet/mingle after all, and mostly only know one another by images otherwise!) but sometimes you just click with with people right away with virtually zero effort needed! This is what happened when I modelled with this amazing lady that day and for every shoot we’ve completed together since!

Now: we host deluxe one-to-one shooting events together offering creative opportunities for photographers in various stunning destinations around the world through our jointed Arts Voyage platform and I couldn’t think of a nicer, more positively passionate and unquestionably beautiful person to be teamed up with! Our trips up to now have been packed with productivity, quality innovation working closely with the photographers that join us, laughs and social value on such a successful level... Renaissance has genuinely been that endlessly professional colleague and friend which enables us to bounce with a fabulous team rapport and host the events with the splendour they deserve. This lady is dynamic in her modelling and creative experience, imaginative to the next level making her a truly inspiring fellow model to work alongside... And simply the most commited and good-hearted individual that words can describe. From the fine-tuning planning beforehand to the shoot executions on the trips/each day - she puts her heart and soul into it and the mutually driven sense of love for the work combined with can-do attitude makes her someone I just recommend so dearly without thinking twice. Unless you’ve actually organised and run events like these; you can never fully appreciate the work load involved... The pictures routinely look stunning based around the themes and locations that we prepare especially, yes. But what isn’t seen right away is the running around like headless chickens we do from the outset to cover every aspect of the events and ensure our attendees have a lovely time with us. We work like clockwork tuned perfectly in-sync with our little routine! Being ready to rock onset as “Keira Lavelle” and “Renaissance” (the models) but also never resting to attend to all the finer details which the trips depend very importantly on for a smooth and stress-free running. We’ll get back from the first session of the day and snap into our off-set schedule jobs “holding the fort” for one another to enable each other to be the best we can possibly be as models and event hosts on the trip: she’s a truly selfless business partner/co-model and our brains are so brilliantly coordinated working together which echos support and harmony in a professional but also fun environment, allowing us to make bountifully lush memories doing our best to host prolific one-one-one photographic holidays with our small group of like-minded photographer that will join us on each of the trips.

Last year alone we took on Portugal and Crete for Arts Voyage... Not to mention a number of smaller duo events in the U.K. too. I have stayed with Renaissance on several occasions at her beautiful home and can only reiterate what has most likely been said countless times by many photographers who have worked at her place: the light is simply divine for shooting with endless photo yield ready to be snapped up from every corner! I’ll normally stay before and after each trip that we run as we travel together often from Manchester airport... But I’ve come down for independent duo weekends too and it’s always warming to catch up with herbal tea and chatter until it’s getting dark around us - it’s pretty much the norm to be nattering in the phone and one of our batteries to go dead before we finish anyway! :P The most good-to-the-core natured human I can think of - and a joy to work alongside each and every time. Her hospitality when I’ve stayed is out of this world too! ♥

Did I mention a stupendous model?? Stunningly gorgeous, perfect skin, expressive as can be, rocks it indoors and outdoors across so many styles and never bats an eyelid when the terrain is challenging or unpleasant. We look incredible paired together; our contrasting looks producing stories, drama and aesthetic arty values... Yet being completely on the same page with creative tuning we will hit the quirky styles like fish to water too!! X-D Whether photographers work with this lady on an Arts Voyage trip, or independently: they should be ready for smashing results!

Super excited for our next adventure! :D And those thereafter!

Amazilia Photography

This was my first shoot with Renaissance, and I hope it will not be my last! She was working with Keira Lavelle on a week-long photographic holiday, so there was plenty of opportunity to work with her.

I am particularly focused on a project at the moment involving art nudes in the landscape, and Renaissance proved to be an outstanding model for this.

Her posing has a wonderful natural quality to it, such that her connection with the environment comes across very freely in her work.

She is very professional and hardworking, and is a truly wonderful person with whom to work.Nothing was too much trouble, and we were able to produce images that were exactly what I had hoped to capture on this trip.

Renaissance is highly talented. It is both a pleasure and a privilege to work with her, and I certainly highly recommend her to other photographers.

Fantasy Dabblers

This was our second Artsvoyageintl trip with these lovely ladies (Keira Lavelle and Renaissance) and they did not disappoint! This time we went to Crete and a mountain hideaway. Modelling wise Keira and Renaissance are fantastic from fashion to art nude to crazy zombies and black brides. Full of amazing energy and patient and helpful with photographers. Such a lot of fun ideas and great locations. It was a terrific trip and we are already booked on our next one (or two….)!

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Wendy for a full week during our trip to Crete. It was the first time we worked together. Nonetheless,

we instantly had a good rapport, and it felt like we knew each other for years.

During this week we created a lot of fantastic images and never ran out of ideas.

I can highly recommend Wendy and hope to work with her again soon. Therefore, I'm looking forward to welcoming her in Hamburg for our next shoot.

Another amazing shoot with Renaissance Saturday we tried an indoor shoot with mood lighting and played around with flash from different positions with Renaissances help and advice achieved good results

all experimental now I have the technical side covered cant wait to repeat the shoot with different poses thanks Renaissance

I had the pleasure yet again to go on another trip to Fuerteventura with the lovely Renaissance again.

As before (many times now :-)) everything went very well beforehand with the organisation & the trip was perfect.

This trip maybe was our best & the images I came back with where maybe the best yet, most of this thanks to Renaissance as all I seemed to do was point the camera in the right direction :-)

As well as being a excellent model Renaissance is fun to be around & leaving is always a chore.

So as before highly recommended & can’t wait till next time :-)

Previously Shoot with Wendy at her apartment with Kierra Lavelle, this time it was at my Studio in Manchester https://purpleport.com/portfolio/rainbowstudio/?referrer=rainbowstudio, working initially with a Student on Portrature for 3 hours then general mayhem for the rest of the day with me.

Wendy was a fantastic model to have working with the student, always patient, helpful and passing on some great gems to help, Wendy also was very patient with my prattling on and turned in set after set of great images for the Student.

One satisfied customer :-)

Canal, Smoke Bombs, Cloak, bridges, all worked to perfection, we even smoked out a rather disgruntled lady of no fixed abode when the rather thick cloud of smoke enveloped her in some bushes.

In the middle of a stream of rather mancunian phrases, let Wendy know she was "a bit of a stunner" could not agree more :-)

Returned to Studio and finished off with some great sets using a variety lighting set ups, limitless and faultless posing, all handled fantastically by this superb, profesional young lady.

Great fun packed, but highly productive day, spent in the company of a truly warm and friendly person

Around two years ago, Wendy was my first ever studio shot model, so I've always had a kind regard for her and her work.

Two weeks ago, I got the chance to shoot with her again. This time it was a location shoot in the deepest darkest depths of Wales.... and what a shoot it was. I ran out of superlatives to call her at the time. I have massive respect for her professionalism, expertise and artistry. It was a sight to behold.

She is mad as a hatter in the best possible way! Climbing up trees, jumping in freezing rivers with a smile, a laugh and a totally professional attitude for getting that shot.

Wendy has been on my radar for quite a while, and I wish I'd spoken to her sooner to arrange a shoot. That's on me.

We were on a group shoot in Wales, cold and wet was the order of the day, and Wendy just got on with the job without any hesitation. I almost had to hold her back :)

She is an awesome model, with an amazing repertoire of poses and attitudes that she can bring to your images. We appear to have clicked yesterday and all I got from the image reviews was wow, oooh, yes, ah, love it etc.

I loved shooting with Wendy, and I truly wish to do so again one day, in the meantime, I'll recommend her to anyone who asks, and I'd suggest you get her booked now, don't delay.

Another interesting shoot with Renais Sance I got some nice shots when I didn’t think the lighting was good enough Renaissance proved once again she has imagination her choice of pose holding on to a grill off the ground with a dim wall light while I composed a flash shot amazing model
