After a photoshoot last year in Brussels, I went to visit Valentina in Galway (Ireland) this time. Communication leading up to the shoot was very pleasant.

The intended shoot in nature literally fell into the water due to heavy rain all day. But the provided alternative place (castle) coupled with her professionalism and creativity has led to many beautiful photos.

Valentina also very kindly hosted me for my stay in her beautiful city Galway.

Learn from each shot

At the end of May I had the pleasure of a 2 hour shoot with Valentina and Lucy Tyler (not on Purpleport) in an old castle near Galway.

Both models were fantastic. Very relaxed friendly atmosphere and they worked hard to help me get the shots I wanted. The time just flew by. I wish I had booked for longer.

I would highly recommend Valentina. She is very professional and fun to be with on a shoot. Her comms in organising the duo shoot etc. were just spot on.

There are some models, you might want to shoot with, there are others you hope to shoot. Valentina is a model whom frankly you should make it a creative and artistic priority to book a shot with. You will not be disappointed. I would also suggest if you can you travel to Galway, a land she knows and loves intimately. Although shooting her local to you will bring you dividends too.

Her knowledge of Galway is not merely geographic, but she brings her understanding of local culture, art, music, fable, narrative and weaves her magic in creating moving, beautiful poses and expressions drawing inspiration from these things and the landscape she loves dearly.

Valentina's approach is empathetic, intuitive, sensitive and above all creative to her modelling. Her range of poses, expressions and feelings that she communicates in her poses is startling. And she moves from ease from one to another, with a haunting grace I have not seen in other models.

She is the kind of model who loves to collaborate and will always strive to achieve the highest standards. She is also fun, funny, intelligent and is simply a joy to spend time with. During the shoots, I would glance at my watch and wonder where the time goes. Valentina is a woman with a beautiful heart, soul as well as a physical beauty that are all reflected in her work.

Valentina also very kindly hosted me for my stay in her beautiful homeland. She was a wonderful host who made me feel part of her family. She and her partner were generous and gracious hosts, and I was genuinely sad to leave them as I had made new and good friends. Thank you so much for your kindness, your chats, the awesome craic, and for looking after me so well.

I cant recommend Valentina highly enough, perhaps in reviewing the images and find yourself being entranced by each and every one that is a recommendation indeed, as I find myself loving each and every one of them. I would encourage everyone who has the opportunity to shoot with her to do it.

This is the fourth shoot I did with Valentina. Still surprized by here poses. This time we had a piano available. No bass. Really appreciate here approach of a shoot. A shoot with here is a good antidote for the daily stress. Txs Valentina.

Did an amazing shoot with Valentina and her friend. Although my english is not that good, she quickly understood what I was going for and she immediately threw herself in my rather weird idea. Very professional but always in for a laugh. She helped thinking, no experiment was too much asked for her to give it a try, lots of own initiative but also always prepared to listen to instructions. Camera-shy is not a word that excists in her vocabulary. Perfect alternative look.

If you’re looking for fun combined with great results, I rate her 5 stars!

She's well-organized, arrives on time, and is energetic and can pose with relatively little instruction. She is willing to try all sorts of unusual poses, and she is relaxed and helpful in the studio. She has a unique look, quite some poise, and I'd heartily recommend working with her.

Had a fab 4hr shoot with Valentina last week at her wonderful location house. The pre shoot comms were excellent and she was amazing to bounce ideas off during the shoot.

She flows into one great pose after another and between the great light from large windows and her amazing dreadlocks, the pictures just keep going better.

She's a true professional. We really got into a truly great shoot in last hour (the to be published 'blue') and it was a really FUN day by the end.

Absolutely will and can't wait, to work with her again!!!

I had my first shoot with Valentina last week and I can honestly say that it was the most fun, creative, exciting shoot I've ever had. We shot over two days of variable weather (it is autumn and the West of Ireland after all!) in locations all around Valentina's lovely home (where she also hosted me for the couple of days of our shoot). The locations are magical, and I really feel like the images we created together captured a little piece of that magic. Valentina is relentlessly creative, amazingly energetic and utterly professional. Best of all she is also a warm, generous, fascinating and just perfectly lovely human being, so time with her just flies past. All too soon it was time to head home, but I know for sure that I'll be back and hope that we can work together again soon.

As expected it was an amazing shoot with Valentina and it felt like we know each other from a very long time just after 5 mins we met, she is such a lovely artist and so easy to work with, confident, down to earth and with a real hunger for art which resulted in some awesome creative images we did together in a short period of time, would love to work with her again whenever I get a chance as I am very confident we can always create some jaw dropping images together when ever we team up.
