Had a nice little shoot with Valentina during a brief visit to Galway early this summer. Always great to spend time with this lovely lady. We did some moody portraits with natural light in the house and garden and Valentina was very on the ball, delivering her strong and emotive poses with professional ease. She is a very accomplished model, sensitive to light and composition, super laid back and easy to work with. Thanks Valentina for a lovely shoot. Highly recommended.

Valentina was an exceptional model to work with. There is a fluidity in her poses/movement that makes a fine imprint on both the image and mind. Easy to work with, professional, and a lovely personality. Can’t wait to work together again!

Valentina is one of the few models I know, who can execute the artistic nude poses like the classical statues I have in mind. This in combination with large veils, which she easily drapes in all kind of styles around her body. Her dancelike poses are unique. I asked her to pose like the classical Greek and Roman statues and she did as I had in mind.

Valentina controls her entire pose easily from eye, mouth and facial expression, position of the head, position of the hands and fingers up to and including, legs and toes.

I as photographer had to control only the Point of View, lighting, composition, background and framing.

Beyond all the technical stuff, Valentina is very easygoing and she had so much pleasure in posing she did a kind of additional performance with bodyscapes on the ground in her own style and stayed longer.

I do recommend her very much to other photographers who want to do a pleasant shoot with artistic poses.

I booked Valentina recently for a photo shoot. It was the first time I booked her and wondered why I hadn’t done so earlier. She is a first class model with a figure Michael Angelo couldn’t have sculpted any better. The results were amazing. She was super efficient, turning up spot on time having travelled over 100 miles to my studio. She was well prepared and got to work straight away. The studio session was great and went by very quickly. I got all the photographs I planned for and some extra ones too. I couldn’t be happier with her work. She is a very capable and experienced model. It was a pleasure to meet her. She is a very kind, gentle and soft-spoken person. I will book her again and look forward to doing so. I highly recommend her and if you are considering booking her, I encourage you to do so. You will not be disappointed.

I'm writing the same reference for both Valentina and Svala as both were equally great and made my time shooting my first ever art-nude shoot relaxing and fun.

As a macro photographer normally I'm shooting non-people photos but I want to learn how to shoot more "people" orientated photos!

It was only my 2nd Photo shoot with Models and my first ever time taking photos of people that might not have all their clothing on!

I was getting a little nervous before the shoot and when Valentina and Svala started by just taking their clothes off in front of me I could feel my ears getting red and my face flush with a little bit of embarrassment and awkwardness however after a few minutes and a bit of chit chat I felt a bit more relaxed.

As both models were experianced this was fanstastic to me "the clueless noob" and it let me try out some different camera settings and let me start

to "observe the light" where sometimes natural light would work and other times you needed some fill flash and other times flash was overpowering

and also a few times made you realise your big neddy no no where you look at your shot and see that your softbox just reflected itself in a window and you ruined a perfectly good shot!

I was using this shoot as a learning experiance and both Valentina and Svala were very helpful. As I had no clear ideas of what I wanted, what I liked , what I didnt like

I was on unknown terrortory in the world of photography so a learned a few things. I was very happy with some of the shots I got, I learned from them, I wish I could have done better

to make these two models stand out better, I would have loved to have a bit more light reflected into the eyes of the models of the shots I took so something to work on next time!

I really enjoyed myslelf. I only wish that I had more time as 2 hours passed very quickly. As somebody that has never done a nude shoot it was a surrel experiance for me.

If I had more time I would have explored more clothing/prop's options as partially nudes or interesting costumes looked very interesting too for more of an implied nude look

and to add a bit variety into the photos. I only spotted some fur clothes in the girls chest of props afterwards would have been nice to do themed stuff. Maybe next time! Smile

Shot with Valentina at the weekend at her art-nude workshop in a Galway castle with Johannsdottir. Great experience to work with two such talented models, both together and separately. Two hours just flew by, and we managed to do lots of different scenes and setups in that time.

Valentina is a pleasure to work with, poses perfectly, has lots of feedback on how things are progressing, and takes direction well. Even sitting atop a cold marble fireplace was no problem for her :)

Recommended, and hope to work with her again in the future.

I had a wonderful shoot with the delightful Valentina today in Cregg Castle, Galway. Valentina is very professional and is extremely creative as a glance at her portfolio will confirm. She has a very impressive knowledge of the local area and excels both in and outdoors. I was intrigued to meet this fabled 116 year old and having done so am delighted I made the trip to Galway today ;-) Seriously though Valentina is not only a wonderful model, but also beautiful on the inside with a lovely personality. As I am only getting to grips with model photography she was very patient with me and was full of helpful tips and suggestions on how to get the best out of our shoot. We had a good pre shoot communication, which is always important. The weather was good today although we had a lot of changing lighting conditions but Valentina was able to react very quickly to this and she is not afraid to get her hands dirty and is great at moving furniture also! We did some indoor and outside work and it was very apparent that Valentina was extremely comfortable with any location and excelled at any challenges thrown at her. She has the most amazing eyes and her hair (17 years worth of dreadlocks) is something to behold! She is able to contort herself into the most amazing shapes and although some of these must incredibly uncomfortable she can hold them for as long as is required to get the shot. She has gorgeous silky smooth olive skin and the most incredible accent which of course you cannot appreciate from her photos! She has a unique look with great makeup skills and then there is her hair! Valentina is easy going, a pleasure to work with and full of energy and creativity.

Although we were shooting mainly art nudes she brought an impressive wardrobe of outfits and props and she knows what looks great on her.

Needless to say that I recommend her highly.
