Historic Print Of My Grandmother.

I discovered this lovely portrait print this morning. I was looking at 3 old pictures that had been in my Parents' house and had come from my Grandma's cottage. The frames were very dilapidated so I was removing the pictures before dumping the frames. Behind a very faded picture of my Grandfather was this un-faded portrait of my Grandmother as a young woman. I would estimate her age here as about 20. She was born in 1895 Sao this was likely taken during World War 1. It's possible it was done so that my Grandfather could take a small copy to France with him.
This print is about 6 x 4.5 inches and mounted in a nice cardboard mount embossed with the studio's name (Joe Chivers, Devizes & Pewsey.) I like the painted studio backdrop of trees & woodland I'm guessing it was probably taken on a camera with glass plates but my knowledge of historical photography is limited.
I photo'd the print in natural daylight with a 60mm macro lens and an improvised copy stand. I cleaned off some of the worst marks & spots in photoshop.
From my earliest memories [the early 1960's] of visiting & staying in Grandma's cottage in Devizes, I remember the portrait of her husband (my Grandfather) hanging on the wall. It's possible this portrait has been behind her husband's & has not been seen by anyone since 1938 when Grandma was widowed. Grandma died in 1985 at age 89 - she'd been living with my parents for 5 or 6 years previous to her death.
