References for Studio Luminescence

This was my second visit to Studio Luminescence where I was met with a very warm welcome by Lauren and Gary. I had booked a 2 hour session to improve my studio work / flash photography skills. Lauren and Gary are both exceptionally patient hosts and made me feel very welcome.

At the end of the session I had some really lovely images of Lauren (Arabella on PP) and my knowledge and understanding of lighting has improved a massive amount.

Highly recommended and a great experience, I will definitely be going back again.

I was met with a warm welcome from Lauren and Gary the studio owners on my visit to Studio Luminescence, although not a large area they had designed an excellent set for our Floral Themed shoot. Our model for the day was Elle Baldwinson who lets face it is very hard to take a bad photo of, we managed to get through 4 changes of costume in the allotted time and i was more than happy with the photos. Recommended.

It was such a pleasure to be booked on a day event at Studio luminescence last weekend!

I have been so excited to visit this studio ever since it opened and was very grateful it wasn’t far from me! The studio did not disappoint at all with such a beautiful shooting and changing space and so much beautiful natural light! I was mainly impressed by Lauren and her partner as the first set they created was absolutely beautiful,definitely top tier styling!

I was also blown away by Lauren’s incredible teaching ability’s and love how much the photographers were helped. As a model,I was treated amazingly and made sure I had everything I needed at all times!

I could not recommend visiting studio luminescence more for both photographers and models and I can’t wait to be back!

Had my first shoot at Studio Luminescence this morning for the floral themed shoot with Ella modelling. What can I say apart from what a brilliant experience both host were excellent, on hand for any advice and guidance. Ella was a brilliant and beautiful model as always. Would fully recommend this experience to anyone that can make the events. Will definitely be visiting them again.

Had such an amazing time at the studio shooting with Elle Baldwin. Lauren and Gary were on hand to help with lighting throughout the whole shoot. I would highly recommend attending any of the workshops at Studio Luminescence!

This was my second visit to this studio and as before I, and the other photographers, were made very welcome by Lauren and Gary. They had clearly thought about the set up that were used during the day so that we were able to get a variety of images. Elle, our model, was brilliant so it was an excellent day.

I had my first shoot at Studio Luminescence working with brilliant Elle Baldwinson on a flower theme in the morning and a Coulson inspired shoot in the afternoon. I am very pleased indeed with the images. Arabella and Gary were extremely friendly and helpful during the day.

I highly recommend this studio and look forward to working there again soon.

Arabella did a one 2 one photoshop session with me via Zoom. She’s a great teacher and focussed exactly on what I wanted to work on along the time to guide me through her process. She was super patient with all my questions and provided the recording for me to review in my own time. This really accelerated my learning with a few things I’ve struggled with on my own.

I attended a light workshop at Studio Luminescence and it was a great experience. Pre comms great and detailed with a comprehensive breakdown of the itinerary we would be working on. This ensured we covered a lot of different content which was well balanced and didn’t feel too rushed and everyone one had enough time to shoot and experiment.

Arabella and Gary clearly have a passion for the subject. Arabella’s delivery is great, a natural teacher. Being a model and photographer she gives a great insight into the process. I’d happily recommend anyone to take part in a workshop here and I’d love to work in this studio or with this team again.

I attended Arabella's lighting workshop at Studio Luminescence. What a great day. Communication before the event was good and well prepared so we knew what to expect.

Arabella and Gary were wonderful hosts and show us the studio and where we could shoot. Arabella tutoring was spot on explaining everything and why it was done that way.

A very enjoyable day. Highly recommended.

I attended a beginners workshop at Studio Luminescence today.

Pre course communications were excellent.

Lauren and Gary were both fantastic, very welcoming and both highly passionate about the subject.

Lauren delivered the training session in simple to understand language which I personnaly find much easier to take in.

Any questions that were raised were answered by either Lauren or Gary.

Refreshments were available throughout the session.

A great experience which I would highly recommend.

I will definitely be using Lauren and Gary for future training and photo shoots.

I attended the Beginners Workshop for Lighting at the weekend with Arabella, and it was everything and more than I expected. There was a strong structure to the session which had a natural progression through the day. It covered what I would describe as the fundamentals for studio photography, and I was extremely impressed with the results that Arabella coached me towards.

From beginning the workshop fairly clueless, I now feel I have a much better sense of what can be achieved and how to start going about it. Arabella was wonderful, unbelievably patient and showed a real passion for improving you as a photographer. I would thoroughly recommend.

This studio is a delight to shoot at. It's well catered for in terms of lighting and backgrounds appropriate to the size of the venue, with the white walls being useful for bouncing light off without contamination.

It's great having Arabella as a host who is also a photographer, so if you need to alter something, she'll know the implications of the changes.

Today's session was a studio day which you could they'd put effort into making it easy to just walk in and shoot. A thoroughly enjoyable experience with plenty of great images.

I had the lovely pleasure of shooting with studio owners Lauren and Gary for a pre-event shoot.

I was greeted with a lovely smile from the moment I entered the building. Lauren and Gary are both very clearly passionate about what they do and creative is an understatement!

We started off with a cup of coffee and a natter. I can happily say we clicked very well which really set the tone for the day. Both Lauren and Gary are brilliant at bringing out the best in me. I felt so comfortable to be myself with them which only made the shots better and better!

For what was originally going to be a pre event shoot to plan for a fabulous event, I’d say I’m over the moon with the results. I met two lovely owners and creatives but also found a studio I know I can be safe and comfortable to work in.

I couldn’t recommend them enough as both photographers and a space to use.

I had my first workshop day at Studio Luminescence recently and it was just a fabulous day!

Arabella & Gary are both lovely and ensured I was comfortable throughout the day!

Gary was always on hand with brews!

I would 100% recommend to all.

Photographers that were unsure of how to set up gels (the purpose of the workshop) were not just shown a set up but explained why the set up works etc which I felt would be very beneficial!

I have already discussed working with them again in future and would be back in a heartbeat

Had a fabulous forts shoot at this wonderful studio!

The hosts, Gary and Lauren are so friendly and welcoming. What a lovely place this is!!

The studio has a gorgeous window allowing reams of natural light to flow in and create epic shots. We planned a 60’s/70’s shoot- Lauren dressed the backdrops beautifully with so many choices of styles, fabrics and backdrops.

The studio has a fab changing room- plenty of hanging space and a full length mirror.

I can’t wait to return and spend more time here⭐️
