This morning I had an amazing shoot with Steve. He is really friendly and made me feel very comfortable during the shoot. Full of laughs and conversation!

We had a lot of pre-shoot comms where we discussed ideas and locations for the shoot- Steve was really great at recommending some beautiful locations near to where I was staying.

We met early in the morning (my first super early shoot!) And despite the early hour Steve was full of beans and energy which was great! He was great at guiding me in poses and positioning. The previews I've seen so far of the shoots are amazing and I can't wait to see the finished edits!

I'm hoping to work with Steve again in the future, we were discussing some more shoot ideas which im excited to try and I would highly recommend if you get the chance to work with him to grab the opportunity! You won't regret it :)

Had a fantastic first shoot with Steve today! Full of great conversations and lots of laughs, The time absolutely flew by!

His pre shoot communication was excellent and he was already on location before I arrived.

Despite my inexperience, Steve was really encouraging and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. He had loads of great ideas and gave excellent guidance and I feel like we achieved so many wonderful, creative images.

He even brought chocolate so what more can I say?

Overall a brilliant photographer that I couldn't recommend more and I look forward to working with again!

It was great to work with Steve after so long, we had a great catch up and in general; a good shoot (apart from rain).

I was hoping to do something different but the rain was a hindrance to my plans but doing a steampunk shoot in the gloomy weather seemed like a fantastic idea. I discussed my plans with Steve the night before and he was brilliant with the communications (as always).

Steve shoots rain or shine so you can rely on him no matter the weather. He is very reliable and as always recommend!

Had another fabulous shoot with Steve recently, and as usual everything was fab! Great pre-shoot comms, right on time, lovely company, the shoot flew by, fantastic images, and he even dropped me back into Bristol afterwards! Steve is a wonderful guy, and a fantastic photographer, with great ideas, and I would highly recommend him to any model to shoot with :)

Well what can I say, this was my second shoot with FocalPoint, and I was nervous as I haven't done any shoots in a long time, but this gentleman made me feel at ease once again and I was able to get right back into the swing of things!

Great communication as always from him, we both had our ideas and made them work, he understood the look and feel I was going for and nailed it with every shot!

Honestly can not recommend enough!

Had my second shoot with Steve, as he was down in Kent. As usual, he was very timely kindly picking me up, and great comms before and during. We did have a few ideas between us, but unfortunately the great British weather ruined some of them. Regardless, we still managed to do one set, even though it was raining and windy. Steve was professional throughout (weather doesn't phase him!), and considerate to make sure I was warmed up after with a nice cuppa! I even got to meet and work with Mooshy pig! (Ask Steve! lol) Steve doesn't mind driving to location to find the perfect area to shoot. He is always reliable! He is very easy to work with and chat to about anything, he never pushes model's limits or asks anything disrespectful at all.

I highly recommend Steve to anyone and look forwards to our next shoot hopefully soon! (Hopefully drier and warmer next time!)

I just loved this shoot and I been saving a dress for this shoot!

Steve took me to some amazing locations and for the first time I shot in the hail!

Steve always amazes me and is ALWAYS RELIABLE no matter what! You can count on him! He will be there!

Steve showed up on time and was welcoming and friendly from the get go. To my surprise bought two cameras along and used both throughout the shoot, the shoot was a beach/winter fashion despite on and off showers. This photographer was extremely accommodating including regularly checking that I was ok in the temperature/weather and stopped a few times on our way around the location to let me see the images. I couldnt be happier with the images I've seen on camera alone, and look forward to seeing them. Steve is super friendly and funny, gave fab direction when necessary and made the shoot incredibly fun. Would absolutely recommend to any RELIABLE model, good as gold x

Had a shoot with Steve in the last month, and as with our first shoot several years ago, had an absolute BLAST! Steve is so easy to work with, friendly, creative, very considerate (it was a very cold day we were shooting on and he was regularly checking I was ok), and on top of that he is also a great photographer! Would highly recommend Steve :)

He is a great photographer to work with creates a wonderful atmosphere for the shoot we have a great chat and a flow of ideas let loose I recently worked with Steve on a mother and son shoot he worked well with the unpredictable little toddler I have and got wonderful shots looking forward to working with him again when the weather breaks

Finally got to shoot with Focal Point after a few months of planning, however, brilliant communication throughout with accurate planning for the shoot.

The photographer turned up early and was polite throughout the day and made me feel comfortable and had a good laugh, the shoot was great and had some good ideas with nice locations. We even discussed further ideas and shoot plans, I cannot wait to see the shoot photos. Would recommend to models as he gave fantastic direction throughout the day and even provided cups of tea haha 😂 was a good shoot.

Second shoot with Steve, another amazing day. Steve is such a wonderful person, full of conversation and is so open minded. I feel like I’ve been friends with him for years. He is so polite and respectful and never pushes the models limits. It’s a pleasure to work with him and I’m already planning the third shoot. He is a must have photographer!! Totally professional.

Had a shoot with Focal point arranged for a lovey waterfall and lakes shoot, along with some portraiture shot in North Wales.

Pre communications where great, with outfits and props discussed. It was great to find out that Stephen too was also had a story approach to what he wanted to capture in images, which ment ideas just bounced, and the shoot ended up being a great creative partnership.

As arranged I was picked up in the morning and Stephen was bang on time, and genuinly lovely company to be in as we travelled to the location and discussed the shoot.

The location that Stephen had chosen with the waterfall was beautiful, and he was considerate enough to bring me wellies as we did gave to walk through a bit of a river (was worth it). We got a variety of shots against the backdrop and Stephen was helpful with stability when getting on and off a rock.

We headed to the 2nd location which wasn't far and got some lovely shots in a river near a bridge, and after a quick warm up and snack (that you for the olives 🙂) did some portiture near by. Even after we finished and Stephen had started putting his camera away I noticed a little spot I thought would make a nice setting, Stephen was happy to ehip his camera back out and get a few more shots even though he had a long journey home.

The images I've had back are absolouty stunning and the ones I have used so far have had lovely feedback.

I highly recommend FocalPoint to anyone looking for photographer that not only produces lovely images but makes the process thoroughly enjoyable. So much so we have already arranged another shoot!

INCREDIBLE SHOOT!! One of my favourites, Steve is an amazing photographer and he is so welcoming. He picked me up and dropped me home free of charge. He offered tea and biscuits in breaks. We went to abandoned boats and then abandoned castle... He is so polite and respectful with great communication. Fab company, good chats and I enjoyed working with him beyond. I can’t wait to shoot with him again in January. Please shoot with Steve!! I can’t wait for the pictures. Thank you for the best day. The post apocalyptic theme was so cool.

Have had yet another amazing shoot with Steve!

Its been so long since we shot, so.. its really great to catch up and chat!

Today was so amazing to work with him again! He was kind enough to pick me up and take me back!

He took me to this mayor location (it was epic)...

I've always wanted to do with shoot underneath a bridge and I've had a specific image in my head for ages and Steve made my dream come true!

It was a fantastic day and I'm pretty sure there will be more collaborations to come in the future!

As always, very highly recommended!

I recently had a really fun shoot with Steve, he is very kind, friendly, polite, professional and really easy to get along with :)

Pre-shoot communications were great, discussing ideas and locations and props for the shoot. He arrived at our agreed upon meeting place where he kindly picked me up on time and he was well prepared with wellies for me to wear and tea and biscuits.

right from the start he was friendly and enthusiastic, I quickly felt very at ease around him. He gave me good clear direction during the shoot and I was comfortable to offer my input as well, which he seemed happy to hear :)

Throughout the shoot he'd show me the photos we got so far, which I personally found very helpful.

Steve is a great guy, really good company and an extremely talented photographer who I would 100% recommend :) The photos looked amazing, I'm very excited to see the finished products. I had a lot of fun, and plenty of tea and biscuits. I can't wait to work with him again, hopefully soon :)

Had a great shoot with Steve yesterday. He kindly agreed to pick me up and was well in time. It was one of those rare occasions when I shoot on location but I couldn`t decline a chance to be shot by waterfalls, as it happened, actually IN a waterfall. Despite the cold, I had very enjoyable shoot. Hot cups of tea straight after the shoot made me feel much better and a galaxy certainly made my made! Steve is a very good photographer as well as a friendly man. Without a doubt I would shoot with him again.

What can i say that hasnt already been said. An epic day today with steve. What a brilliant guy to work with. Hes easy going and relaxed and open to suggestions. Hes happy to work in just about any weather conditions, that thw model agrees to. Hes has companion for the model especially in bad weather.

We went back to the car to shelter from the worst of it with a tea and some biscuits that steve so kindly brought along :) thank you.

Great communication skills through out the process of planning and shooting.

Planning to shoot again in the future.

Had my first shoot with Steve yesterday, and what can I say, he is such a kind,polite and friendly, down to earth guy, he had myself and my partner in stitches.

But as far as the shoot went that was amazing also, he knew what he wants from an image and had a pretty good way of achieving that perfect shot, extremely polite every direction was followed by a please and thank you.

Given our conditions I think together we achieved some great images thank I can not wait to see the finish products of!!

Steve you are absolutely amazing and I hope to work together again soon!!!
