What another fabulous shoot with Focal Point, pre Comms were excellent. Location wasn't your usual- a disused Quarry only the other side of Wales. This entailed a 9 hour round trip and hour walk. This would have not been possibly if it wasn't for Steve. Extraordinary views and so much potential we couldn't fit in an day. Needless to say probably the most craziest of our shoots but worth every minute.

Focal point is great company and considered a very good friend of mine.

Work with Focal Point, you certainly will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Steve! Absolute Gem.

I would recommend Steve in a heartbeat! Had my second shoot with him yesterday and before we knew it nearly 5 hours had flown by!

I approached Steve after my order arrived from my favorite online shop as restrictions were easing. i knew i absolutely had to shoot the dresses with him as his photography skills and styles are amazing, and i was so pleased when he agreed to the shoot. communication was brilliant and Steve suggested a wonderful little location close to his home.

The shoot itself was fantastic! it was so fun pottering about the woods bouncing ideas back and forth working together to get so many creative and stunning images. Even with the torrential downpour at the start, Steve was not deterred. As always, Steve was incredibly professional, respectful and a good laugh. Steve is so easy to get on with and has an infinite well of cheesy jokes, you certainly wont have a dull shoot with him!

If you're a model looking for a reliable, respectful, talented and friendly photographer then Steve is you're guy! it's a genuine pleasure to shoot with him!

Yet another awesome shoot with Steve. We tried something a little different this time and it really payed off. Lots of discussion and ideas prior to the shoot, helped us greatly.

Steve helped guide me through some of the more complex poses and what I loved was the honesty when he felt an idea or pose did not work.

Steve is a very dedicated, focused and hardworking photographer. We always have a good laugh.

Look forward to many more shoots in the future.

Would I recommend this photographer, damn straight!

My 3rd shoot with Steve, we went for something a little different today and boy did it pay off! Pre Comms were Fab, Steve kindly drove me safely to location. During the shoot Steve was very respectful, few outfit changes later, rain snow, hail and some sun the shoot was sadly over. Steve checked in to make sure I was warm enough, what a lovely guy. We had such a laugh, it was much needed. I really am so excited to see our finished pics. Thank you so much for yet another fantastic day.

My second shoot with Steve today. Pre Comms absolutely spot on, ideas flowed between us.

Steve arrived on time and well equipped with a flask of tea and goodies, which was much needed after our early start.

Steve is very easy to get along with and comes armed with many bad jokes which will leave you giggling throughout your shoot. Would recommend Steve to any new or experienced model, Steve has a great eye for detail. His portrait work is spectacular.

Looking forward to our many more planned shoots in the near future. Thanks Steve, always a pleasure.

Where here we were.... our third shoot!

It was thrilling, exciting and brilliant as always. We worked with another Model known as Fi and spirit of wales as another photographer.

It was a fantastic experience that brought me much joy as always to work with such a polite and genuine man who is always there to ride you very the best shot but have a laugh!

I love working with Steve and only have highly recommended words to say about him.

The shots are amazing and after a tough day for Steve, I think we got some fantastic shots and had so much fun! It’s always a pleasure to work with this wonderful man.

Spirit Of Wales Photography

Had the please to meet and work alongside Steve on an impromptu group shoot.

What a gent, very professional, he put is models a eases and gently encouraged and build up there conference. As we were shooting with two new and inexperienced models as well as Tash who instigated the shoot.

Steve is a brilliant photographer as you can see by the quality of his work. I would highly recommend working with this gentleman and talented photographer.

I had to cancel our today you see...

Due to being sick and unwell, in an hour and 20 minutes... he answered the phone and was ever so concerned for me. Steve is an amazing photographer and has one of the biggest hearts- he always ensures you’re healthy and well, if not he rescheduled with a smile and puts you first.

Our communication before our shoot ( which was meant to occur ) was still brilliant and I was extremely excited to shoot our idea! However I’m very disappointed with myself for being ill and not being able too... Steve is genuinely a fantastic photographer with the most kind attitude.

OHH FANTASTIC SHOOT TODAY.🦄🦄🦄🦄

During these times of ours, I took the free time to create an outfit myself. I Just knew that Steve would know a perfect location that would work well with my creation!

With today's shoot the location was one from my childhood, this was indeed a good choice!

There was a moment where the cold brought a chill to myself and Steve (bless him) gave me his coat to keep warm, just very kind.

After looking at the images, it brought such a joy to see these spectacular shoots and feel accomplished! I'm very thankful towards Steve.

To finish off, I introduced Steve to my favourite chippy! Which put a good end towards the day!

My second shoot with Steve! This time we were in Brecon shooting in the mist of the waterfalls.

Steve was professional throughout the shoot and gave good direction. He always made sure I was warm enough as we were shooting in the ice cold water.

Although we both nearly lost our footing and went for a swim numerous times Steve once again proved his photographer talents and we got some really awesome shots!

Words cannot express how much I adore Steve, he arrives on time with many stories to share to keep you entertained. He arrives with many creative and wonderful ideas for you both. I always thoroughly enjoy our time together and cannot reccomend him enough.

There is never a dull moment and we always have a fantastic time together. I am very to call Steve W friend abs marvellous photographer.

I have nothing to say except kind and pleasant words for this gentleman.

He’s truly amazing and laid back! He allows you to flow and create well guiding you into the direction on an amazing shoot. I couodnf reccomend this lovely man enough: throughout the shoot I enjoyed every moment and cannot wait to shoot again.

I would love for Steve to be one of the regular photographers I shoot with as I enjoyed his company that much !

So professional and kind, we even shot duo with my fiancée Bradley, and we did all different themes ... my main one was equestrian!

Over all so much fun and a great time!

Completed a photoshoot today with Steve/Focalpoint today and he was absolutely amazing to work with. Arrived early with a smile and started chatting immediately!

Steve gave great direction and made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the duration of the shoot. Steve came well prepared with 2 cameras with different lenses and even some props to experiment with.

The photos I saw looked absolutely breath taking and I can't wait to receive them and share them for everyone else to see.

I look forward to working with Steve again in the future

Focal point is a joy to shoot with. He was at the location early full of smiles and conversation.

We shot in the Welsh drizzle, because obviously there's no other weather in Wales!

Steve was easy to get along with, came armed with plenty of camera gear and even a pair of wellies for me in my size!

The shots I saw in the back of the camera looked lovely and I can't wait to see them. The energy of the shoot was relaxed and I'm very glad I chose to shoot with Focal point when I put out my casting call.

On Friday Steve took me to a magical location and and I've just been so excited for this shoot. It's been a while since I've done a waterfall type shoot and quite frankly, I am quite happy to do just more and more with Steve (to quote myself, Steve is the king of waterfalls)

I came up with this interesting fantasy fairy like idea and Steve brought it to my attention; about out this myth that just has me so intrigued. It's so lovely how things come together like that.

While we were walking around, I couldn't help myself but to be at awe. I love a good walk, especially when there is a lot to explore (not too mention how great Steve's company is)

I'm honestly so grateful to Steve for showing me search beauty and wonder. I Found myself to have an urge to get up and close with the waterfalls, even plunging myself into the waters.

After seeing the images, I stared right then and there to Steve "you have to do this more"

To my fellow models, if you're looking to do a waterfall shoot then look no further than Steve. He's a lovely gentleman and photographer! not to mention you'll be outstanded by why the images!

Such a pleasure to work with Steve and I can't wait for more exciting adventures!

Steve is but such a legend, due to a scheduling conflict I had to rearrange or most recent shoot which I strongly apologise for.

Due to the current pandemic there have been changes on a schedule in conflicts, this is especially annoying to someone who is trying to get their drivers licence (but that is irrelevant) needless to play Steve was very understanding and polite.

He also had to deal with my constant ranting about the whole situation because I was annoyed (Haha)

Luckily we both managed to find a solution and work together in the afternoon, which was most definitely a brilliant idea.

I decided a quirky fashion look would be interesting for the evening and Steve was kind enough to pick me up!  

We went to a new forest location near me where we went for a Wonder and enjoyed the evening sun shine! (it was very warm)

Also, early celebrations for Steve's birthday and if my calculations are correct by the time I'm writing this reference.. Happy birthday!!!

I want to say a big thank you for coming to see me and another thank you for an absolutely splendid shoot.

We also got another cracker on Friday (can't wait) STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!

Yesterday I had a fantastic shoot with Steve, he is friendly and warm and instantly made me feel very comfortable in my own skin for the shoot, keeping an open conversation throughout. His pre-comms were fantastic (I think the best I've ever had!) and he is clearly reliable and values reliability. He picked a great location for one of my own themes, and had props to bring to the table to mix with my own, and I think we made a genuine collaboration of our different ideas into something awesome.

He had lots of energy and inspiration for finding cool poses and different positions re:light/backdrop, and was receptive to my own ideas. The previews I saw of the images were fantastic and have given me high hopes!

I am keen to work with Steve again and would highly recommend.

Wow, what can I say about our first shoot today? Where shall I start.......

Steve, what a great guy and dedicated photographer, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting today. Steve's precomms were extremely professional and organised. Steve had a vision and we shared similar ideas ultimately we wanted to go with the flow and work the location/area, This seemed to work the best for us. Steve is super creative and knowledgeable and helped direct me with poses to create the desired look and feel.

Steve would be the perfect photographer for any new model starting out, his friendly and professional manner really leaves a lasting impression, overall top guy who will make you smile from start to finish.

Steve thank you so much, I cant wait to work with you again!!
