References for Splash Point Photo Studio

I had a shoot with Demi Hughes at Splashpoint yesterday and, as always, it was a pleasure to shoot there. Everything in my last reference still holds true regarding both the Studio and the owner Russ who was, as he always is, extremely helpful yesterday.

Its an excellent place to shoot, especially given the variety of locations within the building itself, which may be seen on the profile page, and I thoroughly recommend Splashpoint to anyone needing a WARM and well-equipped studio.

I've shot at Splashpoint quite a few times now, both on Model Studio Days and Personal bookings. The owner, Russ, is welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. Having ensured that everything is set up as you wish then leaves you to get on with it, although he is always available nearby should you need help or advice.

The facilities at the studio are first class and offer a variety of locations, from Studio proper through to residential sets and boudoir, not forgetting THAT POOL. There aren't many studios that can boast such a 'set' and if a bigger expanse of water is required, well the sea is, literally just across the road!

Splashpoint is one of the best equipped studios I've worked in and I can thoroughly recommend it, and Russ, to photographers of all abilities.

I've been waiting for an opportunity to visit Splash Point for a long time and boy did Russ and his incredible space deliver! A very unassuming location from the front, wasn't entirely sure I was at the right place.. But trust the process, the address is correct.

Russ took me through a quick tour of the spaces available, the studio space and the features he's included there are brilliant and really set the space apart from generic backdrop studios. He was an absolute gent with helping set up everything I wanted to use, straight into arranging the lights (And heating for Elle Mae who I was shooting with).

As I'd booked in the last slot of the day, also meant we were able to make use of the wonderfully heated swimming pool to create some absolute bangers.

All in all, stunning studio. It would be an absolute daily sell-out if he were in England I reckon, but the exclusivity of being out the way in North Wales makes visiting here all the more special.

Very much looking forward to shooting here again!

Superb studio. Got everything a photographer needs. A very deceiving place when you pull up, just looks like a bungalow but the place is huge, even has a swimming pool. I will be booking it again for any shoots local to the area. Have a look at Russ's website. The place is just awesome and all for £20ph.

I recently had my first visit to Splashpoint Photo Studio in Wales, and it was a fantastic experience. The studio, created and managed by Russ, exceeded my expectations. Russ is incredibly friendly and always available to help with any issues, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Had my first shoot here on monday , we were greeted at the door by Russ the host there , who then showed us around the place . And i was amazed at how many opportunities you have to choose from .

I booked 6 hrs and that still wasent enough time to get everything in , Russ was on hand if we needed anything and supplied us with plenty coffee.

I hope to return there in the not to distant future .

Today had my first shoot at Splash Point with the model Jasmine High.

Was very impressed with the equipment and variety of sets that are available to you. Whether that be inside the studio or inside, there are so many options of sets to use with either natural light or with the use of studio lighting .

I highly recommend any photographers and models who haven't done a shoot at Splash Point before to make the trip to Rhyl. You'll not be disappointed.

I had a really great time working at Splash Point Studio during my last studio weekend. Russ was very accommodating, he is a great host. I was staying in the studio for 2 nights and it was amazing, very comfortable. I felt save at all the time.

I had my first experience of shooting at Russ's excellent studio recently. I'd tried a couple of times previously, to book onto model days. But I can see now why I was beaten to it in the past.

So many options of where to work. You could easily spend days there and still not manage to shoot in all of the various places within the building.

Russ is a fantastic host. Who helped throughout the shoot, with lighting, sorting out the various areas in which we shot and providing very helpful advice/experience.

Have had Splash point on the wish list for a bit and managed to sort a shoot whilst I was in Wales with the day job

Well worth the travel time. A great studio with loads of different sets. Russ is a great host.

Three hours was no where near enough time to fully utilise all the different set ups

Have already booked a second shoot

I had another great shoot at Splash Point Photo Studio, this time using the backdrops in the studio as well as the bedroom for some boudoir and the pool. Russ is always very warm and welcoming and on hand to make sure we get the shots we want. The studio is very well equipt and so versatile and I'm always happy for a booking here! I had a lovely time in the studio! Russ has done so much for me when organising the studio day, he's done such a fantastic job with the flyers and advertising. Also gave me so much knowledge with studio days and what to expect. Has a fantastic communication and gives constant updates with what's happening.

The studio is great to shoot with and has a lot to offer for inspiring creative minds. There's so many places that you can take photos from. Russ has been an amazing assistant with the photographers that came, as he knows what he's doing. He managed to keep up with aiming the key light on my face (I move a lot 😂).

During the shoot, he's been great at giving directions. He's very much on point with what he wants for the shoot. The results I've seen are all astounding! It was lovely shooting in the studio and working with Russ.

Thank you for keeping me well fed 😁 10/10 would recommend!

A Different View

Another memorable shoot at Splash Point Photo Studio, thanks to Russ for his assistance enabling us to capture some unique images.

If you haven't shot at Splash Point do book some studio time, this time of year models deserve to be treated to an indoor shoot at this time of year.

I got there to studio and russ made me a nice hot drink , then when the photographer came russ was really helpful too

I felt very comfortable in the environment and could change in adequate place. I was made welcome and the place itself is stunning , I did my shoot and I will definitely explore other areas next time too, definitely recommend to new or professional models and russ is an excellent host.

I absolutely love splashpoint studios! I could never tire of visiting. Russ is so lovely I find it super easy to get along with him. No airs and graces from me I’m too comfortable here 😂

I had 3 shoots starting at 11am and finishing at 8pm Russ was a fantastic host throughout the day, making a belting cuppa and even cooking me some food on my break. Really appreciate all Russ did yesterday. I’m looking at having another studio day here in January as I know a few people are very Eager to work with me here and it’s hardly surprising why. The most magical Christmas tree and decorations are up too at the moment until the new year, the decorations alone are worth a trip if you’re looking for that magical Christmas shoot.

This was my forth trip to Splashpoint this year, but only my third to do a shoot. Every time i come here, the hospitality i receive from Russ and his mum and dad are first class. I always feel so welcomed when i go there.

Russ as done a fantastic job again, with the Christmas tree and decorations, but i decided not to use them this year, I will do next year promise.

I did promise the model Miss Red, that we would use the pool, and that was the right decision, as it was the only place that i haven't shot her until now.
