References for Splash Point Photo Studio

I was delighted to have the opportunity to shoot at "SplashPointPhoto" today.

Precommunication in arranging the shot were clear, helpful and very promptly processed. Russ was a welcoming host to our first visit, ( 'though hopefully not our last.) While very attentive to meeting all our needs we were left to work at our own pace. An extensive range of shoot areas and comprehensive array of light options makes it a first rate venue. Highly recommended.

Visited Russ's studio again, this time on Natasha Kalashnikova's studio day weekend. The studio has plenty of unique things to shoot, and enough lights and modifiers to cope with whatever your lighting needs are.

Looking forward to shooting there again in the future

I had an awesome weekend at Splash Point studio! Russ was helpful and accommodating, everything was organised perfectly and professionally. The studio itself is amazing, the actual studio area is well equipped and stylish- I love the neon signs! The swimming pool is obviously an amazing feature (also very fun) and the house is beautiful. Probably my favourite studio ever and I can't wait to return! Thanks Russ :D

Great first shoot at Splash Point studio!

Good pre-shoot comms with Russ and a warm welcome when I arrived at the studio on the day. The studio is well equipped with a variety of lights and modifiers that cover just about everything you are likely to need. There are a variety of different coloured seamless backdrops and a fantastic infinity cove. I'm very happy with the shots I got on the day and it's great that there's such a good space right on my doorstep in north Wales. I look forward to my next shoot there, highly recommended.

I had a great first shoot at Splashpoint Studios, with the wonderful Natasha Kalashnikova during her studio day there.

Russ's pre shoot comms were spot on, as was his welcome tour and cuppa! The studio itself is well equipped with no end of lights and modifiers and I also loved the neon light collection and the floating stairs, which give it a unique feel.

Highly recommended and look forwards to shooting there again soon!

This by far has to be just one of the most incredible places I have ever had the pleasure of working. I was introduced to Russ via a Photographer I have worked with previously who highly recommended it, and boy was he not wrong When he said it was a really cool location to shoot in! Communications with Russ was spot-on right from the moment we discussed organising a date for a studio day. Russ was there to collect me at the station and walk me over to the property. I easily found him to be very friendly and polite and so easy to get along with. On entering the property I couldn’t believe how spacious it was on entering the property - I think my first words were on entering that it was like a tardis lol. Photographically stunning, providing many opportunities to capture something different on every visit.. The studio Space has a character of its own mixed with retro pieces and neon lights, very funky/quirky, and I love the effort and design that has gone into it. Not only is it very well equipped with all the lighting that a photographer may require, but it is also well equipped with some really cool props and pieces that can be used on looking around the studio. The ideas are simply endless. Also I had the pleasure of using the pool to shoot in – This is kept at a lovely temperature to ensure that no one gets cold :-)

I highly recommend Splashpoint studios to any model or photographer. If you may not have had the chance to work there yet then get yourself booked in! I am hoping to work there again at some point this year.

Run by Russ, this is a well appointed studio with the added bonus of an indoor pool. A variety of backdrops and lighting equipment make for a very usable space. Russ also makes a very good cup of tea ☕😉

Russ is one of my favourite people to work with- every time we shoot, we get more and more amazing images! I have left several references and can only second (third, fourth, fifth, sixth) what I've said there! Russ rocks and is recommended in every dimension....

I had my second shoot with Russ yesterday.

It exceeded my expectations yet again, he is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable photographers I have ever worked with, I find working with him so enjoyable and will hopefully continue to do so for as long as he is local :)

If your not convinced by his images then take my word, he is a top notch photographer and you'd be lucky to work with him.

I had the pleasure of working with Russ at his new place last week and it was absolutely amazing!

One of the nicest studios I've worked in, lovely and bright with individual character.

Although I didn't actually get to use them the floating stairs and the pool certainly made an impression and looked hella fun!

I did get to make full use of most of the props and all the bright coloured backdrops though which came out absolutely amazing in the finished images.

I definitely recommend that you book into the studio and try it out for yourself. You shall not be disappointed! :)

After a while we finally had our first shoot and what can I say is Wow. Russ is great person to work with. He know what he want so is giving a good advice's and his studio is so brilliant and have so much to offer! Definitely recommend!

I’ve work with Russ on many of his amazing project ideas, I’m always excited when we plan something new because I know the material will be unique and add significantly to my portfolio. Him communication is top notch, planned well in advance with mood boards so I know what’s expected of me on the day.

I have worked with Russ a few times and I am always so pleased with the final images. Russ is professional, reliable, creative and a pleasure to work with. He has a great eye for finding settings which make an image work and look great. Russ gives good direction, plays around with different angles, lighting and knows exactly what he’s doing with the camera in order to capture a variety of shots.

Each time I’ve worked with Russ I have expanded beyond the norm for myself and done something new which is great for me as it allows me to grow as a model. Pre-communication is great as we exchange lots of ideas which prepares us well for the shoot. I always leave our shoots with a feeling of satisfaction and having achieved something new. I would definitely recommend working with Russ.
