I had the pleasure of shooting with Derek on a home at mine at Ginger Cottage shortly before my move to the South :)

Derek’s pre comms were excellent and on point with everything being arranged and organised quickly, and he arrived bang on time and ready to shoot with his bag of tricks. We started the day off with a quick chat offer teas/coffees and decided on what we were going to shoot and where and quickly got to work!

Derek was incredibly easy to work with throughout the day just. Leaving me to pose away and freestyle whilst throwing in the occasional direction, it was a very relaxed atmosphere throughout as Derek is friendly, chatty, and professional. I had a wonderful time and would happily recommend him to anyone and I of course look forward to working with him again in the future :D

Derek applied for a casting I put out for 'Bodyscapes', and I'm so very glad he did 😁👍

Second shoot with this fabulous gent, on time, all prepared, images for shoot all uploaded and ready to go through on his notebook so we knew exactly what we wanted to achieve, great pre comms, both of us signing from the same hymn sheet!

Some technical shots during the three hours, but Derek nailed the perfect lighting and effects we had discussed, and the images he showed me throughout looked tremendous!

Perfect gentleman, doesn't push levels, polite, funny, perfectionist and a joy to shoot with.

Cannot wait to see end results, and definetly want to work with Derek again.

Highyly recommended to all.

This was my second shoot with Derek.

He is such a gentleman and takes particular care to ensure he gets the image right in the camera first time.

We shot at the lock near me and also at Lumsdale water falls.

Derek even treated my friend and myself to lunch.

All in all a lovely shoot and a lovely day, with some great images.

Well I'll start by saying what a lovely genuine guy Derek is.

I'd replied to a casting he put out a few days ago and he arrived on time today at my home all ready to start.

He may not have done many shoots with models so far but you wouldn't know it at all, he's a perfectionist, he knows what he wants to achieve from a shoot and I believe we've nailed it today and got some excellent images.

The 2 hours flew by, he's a lovely guy, very courteous, doesn't push levels, good fun, good chat, and good few outfit changes too.

I would highly recommend Derek to all, you'll be very happy with results.

Hope to work with you again soon.

I attended Derek's casting call at a studio in Louth as part of the Louth Photographic Society "Portrait, fashion, tuition event".

It was a lovely evening with around 6 photographers and quite a few models. Derek is very committed and knowledgeable and led the event well. Cant wait to receive the images which he will have to collect from the different togs. All in all a great event which I really enjoyed and hope to work with Derek on a 121 basis in the future as he has some nice ideas for shoots.

If you get the chance to work with Derek you will have a great shoot
