Yesterday I had such a lovely lakeside shoot with Derek for my first shoot back after lockdown.

The weather didn't quite turn out how I wanted so we opted for a more casual fashion shoot which gave me the opportunity to throw in natural poses and small movements.

I always enjoy shooting with Derek, he is very friendly, down to earth and east going and has such a lovely personality. If you get the chance to work with him you definitely should. 😊

I am losing count now of mine and Derek's shoots together haha! I have shot with Derek 4 or 5 times now and each and every 1 of them is a completely fab experience!

Today we did a winter fashion park shoot in the same location that we had our first ever shoot in. We loved the location so much that we decided to go back and do a then and now shoot, which despite the slightly grim weather was yet another successful shoot.

I honestly mean this when I say it, Derek is by far 1 of my favourite photographers to work with. He is so down to earth and a genuine delight to be around with a great sense of humour. The camera equipment that he uses is also fab, we always manage to capture quality images that I am more than happy with everytime.

Thank you again for a wonderful few hours of your time and I can't wait to explore what next year has in store for us 😊.

Had my second shoot with Derek and it was a duo shoot with my friend who he hadn’t shot before but he made her feel comfortable instantly and we had a lot of fun on set! The images and conversations flowed easily and me and Jazz had an amazing time and produced some awesome pictures! Thanks Derek

Derek showed up promptly with everything in his bag. We had a chat whilst looking through my out fits and then got started! He remained professional and upbeat through the full shoot also showing me some of the back of camera shots as we were going along and we was bouncing off each other’s ideas which was great! Another absolutely magic shoot with Derek this evening. We planned a sunset shoot on the beach just minutes from my house and I have to say that the images straight off the back of the camera look breathtaking!

Its always an absolute pleasure to work with Derek on whatever project we have planned and would 100% recommend him to anyone as he is so down to earth and comfortable to work with.

It was such a pleasure to work with Derek again recently, whilst I’m up in Lincolnshire staying with a friend. This time we used my caravan as well as ending with some shots in the field with the horses as a backdrop at SW Horses Studio.

He’s great to work with, respectful of levels and knows what he wants to achieve. He brought along a couple of cameras as well as various lights and although there were a few technical difficulties he pulled through and we got some great shots in the end!

Highly recommend him and look forward to hopefully working together again in the future when I’m next up this way! :D

Today I had my third shoot with Derek and it was truly amazing! We put together a sunrise shoot, high tide under Skegness pier and it worked an absolute treat. The weather worked perfectly for us, light winds but mild and great company too and considering the very early start, I loved every moment of it. The light was perfect natural light so these images are as raw natural as you can get. Derek says there are a good 98 images just perfect to use, so there's a sign of a dream team right there 😁

Recommended to all, a down to earth photographer with a really lovely personality to match.

This was my second shoot with Derek, this time at my home. Our theme this time was to create a simple story of a woman's morning routine. We kept the makeup simplistic and tried to use as much natural light as we could as my room does really project some lovely natural light.

We were both more than happy with the images created, there are some right little belters in there! Cannot wait to see the final results. Would still 100% recommend Derek to any aspiring or professional models, he is a delight to work with every single time with a delightful personality also. Always a pleasure Derek 😊 Xxx

This was my third shoot with Derek.

Great pre shoot communication.

Derek travelled a long way to come and shoot at my small home studio and as usual his attention to detail and the will to achieve great images in camera, as opposed to much editing afterwards are paramount. Derek also shows the images as we go along and we can see how we are progressing. I have only had chance to briefly look through the images and there are some really good ones which I will post on here as soon as possible.

Ah.... what can I say I haven't already about this wonderful chap... He is a true gent, very easy to work with, so down to earth yet very professional and totally knows what he's after from a shoot.

Never ever pushes levels, a funny guy and we really do get on well and work so well together,achieving some fabulous images.

I'm happy to call this chap my friend 😊

A couple of hours flew by in a blink of an eye, we had a good laugh along the way, as always!

We'd discussed what we wanted in pre comms and as such got few a few costume changes and captured some great stuff.

One of my favourites is Derek, will work with him again and again, no question.

Today I had my very first shoot with Derek and I can 100% say that I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot!

Derek is very friendly, down to earth, funny and so so comfortable to work with. Pre comms were great, we both had very similar mood boards of what we wanted to achieve and we certainly achieved that and more.

Whilst shooting our ideas just flowed together. We went out with ideas and I had a change of outfit, we got many sets photographed that just flowed really well and before we knew it, time had flown by!

I would highly recommend Derek to any model aspiring or professional, as I would happily work with him again. I know that I haven't yet seen the final images, but I have every faith in what I have seen so far. Thank you Derek for a wonderful shoot. 😊
