I had a productive shoot with Derek, it was a fun day! We shot at various locations at the Hessle Foreshore using different outfits. Derek is easy to get along with and I was comfortable throughout. He is very passionate about his work. Recommended, I look forward to working with Derek again!

Just this morning had a lovely shoot with Derek at peekaboo studio in Lincoln..

The shoot was very relaxed the first time working together but the time flowed by smoothly & we got some great results.

Pre com’s great I found Derek polite & professional very easy to work with.. giving great direction if needed to get the shot.

I would recommend to other models if you get the chance to work with Derek

Just gets better and better working with this lovely gent.

3 hours simply wasn't enough, but in that time we managed to fit in most of the ideas we both had after Derek applied for my casting for Bodyscapes and gel lights.

Pre comms excellent and only arranged last week!

Derek is truly a lovely, polite, professional chap whom I love working with, and always look forward to what we achieve.

Highly recommend working with Derek if you get the chance, he's a star.

I had a lovely relaxed shoot with Derek at his home studio setup. He was incredibly polite and welcoming which is essential when working together for the first time. He had a great setup with two different backgrounds to use and we got some fabulous photos. Would definitely recommend Derek to any model wishing to get some headshots or portraits done.

Yesterday I had another wonderful shoot with Derek, this time an outdoor Christmas lights shoot. This was a shoot that both of us wanted to work on for a while now and I jumped at the chance to add another night shoot to my portfolio and also to work with Derek 🙂.

Pre comms were spot on as always and we met in Skegness where we knew the town would be well lit up. Derek had a really good idea on what he wanted to achieve and I didn't need much persuasion dressing for the festive feel as it really did get cold!

It didn't take us long at all to get what we wanted and some added extras, before we finished up right by the sea front and arcade just before taking shelter for some warmth and a nice warm drink.

Thank you once again for a great shoot and a very successfully year of shoots together. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 😊

I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with Derek on Monday for the first time in my home. Derek had explained to me beforehand the style he was hoping to achieve so I was able to plan and prepare well! Derek had everything we needed for a studio style set up, and we achieved some amazing shots together! Derek is lovely, professional and has a great eye for detail. I am so pleased with the photos and am happy I could help Derek achieve the shots he wanted. I stupidly forgot about school holidays so my children were home and had to say hi. Thank you for your patience with my youngest and for making his day taking his photo like his mum! Hope to work together again real soon.

Had a great photoshoot today with Derek, such a professionalism in achieving the best lighting. Very enthusiastic and keeped the photoshoot exciting till we finished. The pictures already looked amazing, great angles captured, knows what he is doing! Highly recommended!

So yesterday me and Derek had a very special shoot arranged indeed, we had managed to book ourselves into The Two Wei Location House for half a days shoot and what can I say, we were like kids in a candy store!

The place was absolutely breathtaking and a joy to work in and we had a lot of fun looking around and shooting in various rooms. We mostly made use of the beautiful natural light coming through the large arched windows combing a mixture of levels throughout.

Derek and I always work wonders together as he is very laid back and open to any ideas that you throw at him. He was also an absolute Saint in giving me a lift there otherwise I probably would not have made it

This shoot was a long while coming for us and I an so glad to say that we finally made it happen 😁

And I would always 100% recommend anyone to work with him as I would work with him again and again in a heartbeat everytime.

Had yet another very enjoyable shoot with Derek today, this time in a cornfield and with some hay barrels.

Pre comms were spot on as always and we were easily able to sort out a date and day that would suit us both perfectly. Again, I made a mood board of ideas that I wanted to work through and think we did just that and even more!

The shoot itself went really well, apart from the cornfield not been as tall as we wanted, however, we are use to having to wing some of our shoots so we were prepared and worked with what we had. We even managed to get some shots with some hay barrels without getting shot or chased off with a pitchfork by the landowner, bonus!

It's always an absolute pleasure to work with Derek as he has a very relaxing and down to earth nature. There is never any pressure on our shoots and we always manage to have a laugh on the way. 100% recommended.

Thank the lord we finally got round to working together again, it's been WAAAAAAY to long and I've missed working this lovely chap.

Had a few shoots now with Derek, and they just get more enjoyable every single time.

Derek is one of the most polite, professional funny photographers I've been lucky enough to get to know and work with, he never ever pushes levels, is so easy and fun to work with and knows what he wants from a shoot, and makes you feel 100% safe always, time really does fly when we work together.

Weather was kind to us today, we shot in woodland /open field location near to my home, got in about 5 or 6 costume changes in 2 hours (I don't mess about! Lol) and Derek kindly showed us the images as we went along, so we could see just how things were going, and as always I was blown away with his images....

I cannot recommend this super gentleman enough, if you get chance to work with him, snap his hand off, you will not be disappointed !!!

Pre comms excellent as always, we knew what we wanted to achieve.

We will be working again together soon I've no doubt, and until then it's been a pleasure Derek.

Had a shoot with derek181 end of last month it was absolutely great he's such a gentleman I was a bit nervous at first but after I got into it I was at ease did some great shoots definitely recommend him to work with hope to get the chance again at some point

I had my first shoot with Derek in my flat in Leeds and I am already looking forward to us working together again! :)

Derek was wonderful to work with! He arrived on time, with a positive & happy attitude and I could sense some really great energy from him:)

We had a little chat and a cup of tea/coffee which was really nice - Derek has some fascinating stories to tell which I loved!! Poor Derek.. had to answer so many questions I had afterwards... :D

Shooting with Derek was sooo easy going and relaxing. He was open to my ideas and suggestions as well as contributing his own concepts. We went through a couple of outfits while chatting and laughing. Such a great afternoon that was!

Had another fantastic shoot with Derek today in a Rapeseed field.

I absolutely love working with Derek and will continue to do so until he tells me to go away 😅

I tend to find ideas in anything so even though we only worked in a small area, the couple of hours just flew by!

I would always 100% recommend working with Derek to any budding or professional model. He is just a super kind, friendly and down to earth chap who has tonnes of patience and time for anyone. If you get the chance to work with him, jump at it!

I met Derek,firstly in 2019.

Recently he answered my casting call.

We had a lovely shoot, locally in Scunthorpe at The Pods.

Weather was absolutely perfect and certainly made us both happy and smile again,to shoot outdoors.

Pre coms were excellent and we did a tad of fashionista.

Such a great shoot today and thank you, for sending my images the same evening.

I had a great first shoot with Derek this week. Pre-shoot communications were always friendly and Derek sent over a mood board and some ideas about the sort of style he was looking to capture, which helped me to prepare.

Derek was a lovely guy to shoot with. Really easy to get along with and the conversation flowed throughout. He also showed me our work on the back of the camera regularly throughout which is always massively helpful, especially when working with a new faces.
