We'd had to postpone shooting pictures together four or five times, and it was raining as I drove into the Forest of Dean.

And it was all great from then on. The rain went away, it was relatively warm, and Sal knows her locations. A bonus was 8,000 steps and 4 miles of up-and-down walking.

And the pictures... The setting was marvellous, and a grey day meant that problems with excessive contrast weren't on the agenda, though high ISO may have featured in places. Autumn colours all around, and an amazing model. A grand day out!

When you spend time travelling on foot as well as shooting, it matters that your model is intelligent, thoughtful, and articulate: three more ticks on the list: she is!

And Sal's walks in the woods are probably the best value on Purpleport. Book her, even if it's outside your comfort zone. Travel light, wear boots, take a stick for the descents. And you won't be sorry, even if the weather looks unpromising.

I'm one of the lucky ones; one that feels humbled by good fortune; fortunate to have worked with Sal, now for the Nth time; fortunate that she's STILL not bored with the madness that I thrust upon her.

Working with Sal is ALWAYS fun; it's like a having a chat and a laugh with a good friend with some photography along the way in-between discussions. And this is why we cannot fail to produce meaninful imagery.

I really enjoyed another shoot/ forest walk with Sal, the weather was beautiful for the time of year, the walk that Sal took me on had so many gorgeous locations

I have worked and lived in or near the Forest of Dean most of my life, but Sal always shows me places I have never seen that are so beautiful. I love this style of shoot and would strongly recommend them not only do you get to work with a gorgeous model with a lot of talent you have a gorgeous tour of a beautiful forest

Another superb shoot with Sal, she took me to another magical location in the great Forest where tiny numbers betray the entrances to ancient mines and you really understand the meaning of the word Greenwood. She acted like the Dryad I'm sure she is at heart and together we snagged a great session of photos.

I’ve almost lost count but I think this is shoot no. 12 with the awesome skycladpixie! I feel very lucky to have known and worked with Sal for such a long time. Every shoot is simply a delight and always are highlights to look forward to.

This time we shot in an abandoned factory with cool natural light and graffiti everywhere. Sal knew instinctively how to get the best from the place and the shots we created were fabulous.

I love working with Sal and I hope we’ll continue to work together many more times. Thanks Sal for another amazing shoot.

Worked with Sal on an art nude duo shoot for photographer Satman. As we have now worked together a few times we have built a real rapport which shows in the results. She is very knowledgeable about the Forest of Dean and how to get the most out of each location, we spent the whole session in just one of her many locations and could of spent more time just there.

For art nude landscape solo or especially for duo’s, you’ll find no better than Sal, a 110% recommendation from me

Another of Sal's Walk And Shoots and once again a truly amazing time. Her routes are a wonderful mix of the nature and the industry of the Forest of Dean and there was so many locations along the way. Sal has a wonderful range of poses and she is able to adapt and bring out the best of the location through her poses. We got many great images and once again I learnt more about the Forest through Sal. I would highly recommend her to any photographer and look forward to our next shoot, thank you Sal.

Today Sal worked with me as the model on a training session I was giving using her places within the Forest of Dean. She is both knowlwdgeable and patient the best type of model for a photographer training session. Her knowlwdge of the area is such that she not only know great places but also has the experiance to know when not to use them be that for nesting raptors or too dense summer canopy foliage.

I think this was the 6th time of working together, it is great to know and work with her and yes a very definate recommendation from me for nude landscape modelling.

Had a shoot with Sal & Timothy today in the Forest of Dean , Timothy was there to advise & tutor , the main themes were compilation and light . Sal clambered over rocks and all sorts to get great images . Sal also has an eye for a compilation and an art of how to get an image from any situation ,was incredibly patient also. Sal has a good knowledge of this location . Sal is an ideal model & is perfect for the beginner or experienced photographers . I think Sal s portfolio also speaks for itself . Sal beat me to the rendezvous again and was well prepared with the clothing I had asked for, and other clothing which suited what I had in mind. We had a great time at the water lily pond which we had both said we wanted to return to and then moved on to another location in the Forest of Dean which Sal had found before. This gave plenty of photo opportunities and we had fun trying different ideas. I always come away from a shoot with Sal with far more good photos than I can use.

Sal is definitely someone I recommend and want to work with many more times.

A second shoot with Sal, again in the beautiful Forest of Dean.

Pre-shoot comms were excellent; Sal had thought through the route we would take, and we shot in some gorgeous locations.

But the locations would simply be landscapes without Sal’s wonderful intuitive ability to blend into and become one with the natural environment. Sal adapts her approach, both physical and emotional, to each different area, so that each set of images are possessed of their own unique vibe. Sal brings not only her copious modelling skills but also rich life experience to her shoots.

She poses with ease and invention, takes direction well, and brings so much vision to a shoot that collaboration is easy.

Add in Sal’s lovely, gentle personality and you have the recipe for a fantastic shoot.

Had my second shoot with Sal today. As always - she was totally wonderful. She scouted the area (which was bloody perfect), poses magnificently, has no issue with my faffing around, all great. Sal is confident in her body which really shows with how natural she is. Most importantly, she is such good fun to be around (which truly is why I do this). Most highly recommended.

After exchanging some messages with Sal to talk over ideas, concepts, narrative and plan the shoot logistics she offered to meet me at a location that she had in mind for the concepts we had discussed.

Within the first few minutes of meeting her I knew she was an extremely rare find, an artist of the highest order.

Sal has an extremely intelligent artistic intuition which eminates forth from her entire being, from her attitude towards art concepts to her astonishing natural beauty. She is the VERY manifestation of creative instinct and when we spoke of ideas based on our environment she heard every detail of every idea and then gave me excellent feedback and advice on how to get the best from the shot with her as a model.

We exchanged concepts, suggestions, theories, philosophies and artistic notions with such understanding and ease that I found we were creating magnificent images with the greatest of ease.

We started at 10am and I think we stopped at around 18:30hrs, the time just FLEW BY, we were having so much creative FUN!

Sal REALLY knows her craft as a model & as an artist which made my job as photographer SO, SO EASY! I cannot imagine it is possible to make a bad picture with Sal, she is an immaculate Goddess in front of the lens!

I feel truly honoured to have worked with such an amazing artistic talent and I just can’t wait to work with her again!

This was the first shoot I have done with Sal and I sincerely believe it is some of the BEST art I have produced to date and we only met up to research the location, I took my camera on the off chance that we might, maybe take a couple pics!!

I am going to use some of these images in a live exhibition sometime tin the future!!

Sal is an eminently magnificent model who would be a heaven sent ANGEL for any photographer who wishes to be blessed with outstanding art! I am VERY excited about working with Sal again and I CANNOT WAIT to work out our next shoot!

Worked with Skycladpixie today as part of a duo shoot with Mothy.

I have long been admirer of her work, so this opportunity to shoot in the beautiful surroundings of the Forest of Dean was too good to miss.

Pre-shoot comms were excellent, making it easy to locate the meeting point for the shoot and arrive prepared for the walks involved.

The locations were superb, and Skycladpixie worked every area with an intuitive ability to blend with the landscape and shape herself to nature’s backdrops. Her experience was evident, along with her enthusiasm for achieving the image and an easy-going nature that made working with Skycladpixie a delight.

As we were working together on another project, it made great sense to shoot together once we had finished on that project. Skycladpixie agreed to stay on for our shoot in her amazing backyard, the Forest of Dean of which she has an intimate knowledge

The shoot was produce images for composting together, there was a great deal of repitition required which she was very happy to do, even with some of it was moving toward the edge of her comfort zone. We shot from fantasy nudes through to producing dark and black images. While she is known for her nudes there is much more she can do being willing to try shoot in all the wardrobe we lugged on to location.

Sal is willing and keen to try different poses and angles and view points, always looking to give you that unique image.

Of course a complete recommendation from me and I'm already looking forward to the next photoshoot with her. ..

Sal really is one in a million; her eagerness to create never fails, which is surprising (to me) bearing in mind the sort of weird stuff I do and all the mess she eventually gets covered in. Yep, this was our nth shoot and it never gets tired and always results in meaningfull imagery.

Shooting aside, Sal is a joy to be with; she's funny, sarcastic and we ALWAYS have a laugh. Conversation flows effortlessly.

We worked together the day after the previous shoot, this time it was in Skycladpixie land using locations that she knew well in the Forest of Dean ones we had shot at before. We worked together as an art nude duo with photographer @skulpto.

Sal has great vision and knows how to make the most of the natural enviornmental shapes and curves formed by the woodland and stark rocks of desolate quarries. Sal is keen to try any and every part of a location, pushing herself to reach the almost inaccessable areas, who needs a ladder?

During the shoot Sal's imaginative visions came through, bouncing ideas off the team on how to impove the shot. She is great to work with as a duo model forming shapes to compliment those of mine and giving me a great lead.

A high recommendation from me for Skycladpixie, if you haven't shot with her you ought to, you will get some awesome pictures.

My second shoot with the lovely skycladpixie and a duo with Mothy. The first time Sal and I shot was an overcast rainy day by the River Severn and this time couldn't have been more different. On both occasions she was perfect at posing and easy to work, contributing strongly to the artistic content and a pleasure to work with. Sal is undaunted by challenging terrain or tricky weather. This was a location that she had come up with and it was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful morning and exploratory walk afterwards.

Mothy

After a very early start on location, meaning a stupid early alarm call for Skycladpixie as she had a long drive to the location.

We worked together shooting location art-nude duo in an amazing natural gorge I know. Sal is great with work alongside, she is able to recognise and make the most of places at locations I would not of even noticed.

She is keen, fit, flexible and willing to experiment to see if something works or not. Working with Sal is a delight and I look forward to out next shoot..
