This year (2024 ) II've been working on some whacky surrealist themes and been back with selected models to some of the beautiful landscapes I've worked in before.

Winter is here so now my scenically-situated home studio comes into its own.

I want to do more with body paint ideas and movement based poses. Exuberant or subtle but fun.

I (still) have plans for a moonlight ruin and a sylvan mythical shoot with costume and bodypaint thrown into the mix. 

You

The best models for me are creative and original and I aim to make our sessions interactive, light-hearted and productive. I look for good physical definition - at whatever scale that might be - from voluptuous to athletic or skinny, pale and wan to dark-skinned. If you stand out from the pack I'll be especially interested. 
I often work in the rough and tumble of nature so you might need to be ready for possible rough terrain, boots, nettles and brambles. Not put off yet? Well, it's not always like that so get in touch if you want to work with me. 

Me

Easygoing with a sense of humour, I have respect for a model's limits and skills and try to maintain a reasonable level of comfort, even if we work in cold, wet, muddy places.
I aim for quality, exploration and feeling in my photos. I'm always experimenting as a photographer so I often try out ideas - some of which don't work and some do. 

Place

I love wild locations as you might see in the photos. I think we take too much about our animals, insects, trees and plants for granted and I try to find special places to help fix that. Although it might sometimes be a little out of the way, I hope the models will remember being there.
