'You are my rock 3' by Michael P McParland

Both Jon & I loved this beautiful 'posing' rock & the pathway/track leading away on the right hand side but it was a bit of a tricky shot to take. The rock itself is steeper than it looks & was wet & slippery with moss (luckily there was a rock to put my foot on near the base to stop me just sliding all the way down!) & the angle was also tricky due to the rock 'clutter' in front of it which didn't work for the image, so Jon had to experiment & I love what we got in the end! Perseverance & creative collaboration paid off.

The images from this shoot (thank you for sharing them Jon) were all taken at the one small beautiful quarry in the Forest of Dean that I've shot at many, many times now & every time is different & new opportunities are found. If you'd like to work with me here please see my casting:
