References for Silk

Have you ever worked with one of those models that thinks as you think knows how you work to the extent they can pre-empt what you're thinking? Considering I had just met Silk that weekend I have come to the conclusion Silk is either a psychic or damn good.. Perfectly honest she's most likely both!! LOL On a serious note She's very good at what she does to help deliver wonderfully emotive shots and is incredibly versatile. She's very fun and easy to work along side. A very fun and recommended individual that everyone should work with :)

My third shoot with this incredible model! And the second time we have both worked together with RobertoSegate.

Working alongside Silk is so easy - she's great to do duo shoots with! She's incredibly creative, resourceful and inventive, she does not tire, and gives 100% of her energy, dedication, involvement and commitment. Silk is very professional and hard working, as well as very caring and empathetic. I was feeling very much less than 100% for our shoot - but with Silk's support I was able to keep going - and thoroughly enjoyed myself! She looks out for others, and does anything she can to ensure that everyone is ok. Such a wonderful, warm-hearted, selfless, giving and kind person.

I just loved our shoot together - hanging around chatting in the derelict caravan, in candle light, once it had got dark, was great fun too! Shoots like this is exactly why I do modelling - thank you so much Silk for making this an epic shoot! :) :)

My imagery is not *always* the 'prettiest' - I think that's fairly well established now, and it's not everyone's cup-of-tea, kind of like Marmite. It is, though, expressive, gritty and 'real' often with sinister allegories, contradictions and implications. So why on earth then do I use beautiful models only to photograph them in less than glamorous and flattering situations?

It's not always about how beautiful a model is; for my 'Marmite' work, and particularly for the current project, it's about how expressive a model is; how convincing the 'performance' is to convey a feeling or mood and to convincingly carry the story; the ability to translate ideas into reality, no matter how weird they are :)

You know what I'm going to say next don't you :)

Yes, Silk is an incredible asset to my images, she is able to convey feeling and mood with authority. She throws herself into the role 100% and in addition she offers ideas which are almost always included in the final images. Silk interprets my weird ideas and adds her spin and the results are always better than my ideas alone.

We've had some adventures recently and they're always so much fun and very productive - even in the harshest of conditions. Sub zero in darkness for example was difficult enough for me!!! So - Silk then is 100% WOW, seriously, I'm not bigging her up unnecessarily here - this is Silk, this is how she is and this is what she does, she's a huge asset to any shoot.

Another thing, though, which goes beyond the mechanics of shooting etc., and finds the real Silk is that she's a lovely, lovely person; kind, considerate and 100% cool too! :)

Silk has to be booked to be believed! Do it :)

I had a brilliant shoot yesterday with Silk, at her delightful cottage. She was well prepared for my arrival,good hospitality and absolute fun to be with. She didn't shrink away from any of my ideas and fed a few in herself; the last one being rather quirky and was such fun to shoot. I heartily recommend her as she is so professional. Whether you want to work inside or on location she is definitely the girl for you.

'Showed up' is a poor response for a model to receive after she has driven over 260 miles to get to Norwich. She arrived exactly at the agreed time.

She was most engaging company during the time she spent at my home.

After lunch we went to my favourite warm swimming pool and Silk was a wonderful water nymph. Today we did a shoot in my house and it was most striking how elegantly and artistically she posed . Yesterday and today together I took over 800 images. Looking at them in the computer I realise how clever and skilled she is. I recommend her and she seems to have no fear of driving long distances.

Bubbly, lively and very commited to getting the shot, Silk is very aware what she is doing, giving thought and consideration to each pose. She didnt hesitate to get stuck in to exploring the location and was willing to give all our ideas a go. I cant recommend Silk enough, youll enjoy every minute of the shoot and struggle to choose a best image from the results.

What a lovely young lady, confident, professional and very attractive.

This was her studio day at Curiosity Studios, Treorchy. She brought along so many outfits and costumed that I was spoiled for choice. Two hours was not enough time to do her justice.

A great person to work with, lots of patience and understood immediately the pose I was trying to create.

I am planning another shoot in the near future, and she has my full recommendations.

Today Silk came to play in my home studio. I'm ashamed to admit that it's been nearly two years since our last shoot. I'd bought a few props to trigger our imaginations and she brought along a few things too and boy did it work. It really is quite magical how a few items can initiate fantastic ideas for images. Silk is simply the best. It doesn't take much to fire her imagination and we were away with the fairies, not only shooting beautiful art-nude but also crazy ideas in between. Quite honestly it was the best shoot I've had in a long time. If you've not worked with Silk you should get to know her - you won't regret it. I'm really looking forward to her next visit.

Working with Silk is a wonderful adventure,she is very creative,full of ideas,funny, and fantastic company.As the weather was so bad we had to shoot indoors,it could have been a problem,but only tiredness eventually stopped us.

Had a great shoot with Silk at her studio day in Curiosity Studio.

Silk is a very professional young lady that came well prepared with lots of outfits and props.

Pre shoot communication was great. We discussed a few ideas so we had something to start with and agreed to see where those ideas took us.

Silk is very easy to work with, our 2 hours flew by.She takes direction very well and also brings her own ideas.

We developed a good rapport very quickly which made the shoot very relaxed and easy.

I am already planning visiting her neck of the woods to work with her again

Ooooh lucky me - this was my second shoot modelling alongside the mighty and amazing Silk!!! So honoured!! As I may have mentioned before, I am in complete awe of this incredible model, and I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I was to not only model alongside her for a second time, but with my very best friend, Lanes Photography, behind the lens.... It had all the makings of an epic shoot, and it did not fail to disappoint!!!!

I have not had much experience in duo shoots, but Silk made this a complete breeze! She's so relaxed and easy to be around! She is not fazed by anything, and will take everything in her stride - and with enthusiasm and great passion too! She commits herself with total dedication - never flagging - just full of ideas and ways in which to improve everything so that we get the very best out of every shot. Her experience is clearly evident and everything she does is well thought out and carefully controlled.

Not only that, but this lady has a wicked sense of humour too! We were laughing so much throughout the shoot! We had amazing fun - I loved every minute of it!!

Silk is completely professional, communicates very well, and has a huge pile of clothes and props to bring to her shoots! She can be spontaneous, and find ways to work with the environment she's in - and she's not afraid of muck and dirt either! This lady is hardcore! :)

I am so pleased with the results that I've seen so far from this shoot! Working alongside Silk was just fantastic - and I can't wait for our planned shoots together in the very near future too!!!

This shoot has been three years in the planning stage - within my mind!! When I first saw Silk’s profile, I felt that I wasn’t able to do her justice and my plans were put on the back burner.

Roll forward to 2017 and here we are! The shoot was arranged from the outset as a duo shoot with my wonderful friend, Leaf. I felt that they would compliment one another, and produce stunning results, I wasn’t disappointed. What started as a one day shoot, soon became two days, with a sensual boudoir set on day one. Day two was a derelict house location, giving a total contrast in styles.

I met Silk for the first time on the day of the shoot, and was immediately put at ease by her beautiful nature. Silk is so much fun to work with and has a wicked sense of humour, yet works hard to achieve the best results. With years of experience to draw from, Silk is constantly looking for and suggesting ideas to improve the poses. She will try different looks within a set, giving me options at the editing stage. The two girls worked so well together, making my job so much easier 

Working with Silk is a joy, her poses are fluid and never ending, she is hard working, professional, extremely beautiful and photogenic. I sincerely hope I get to work with Silk again because the ideas are beginning to form already!!

Highly recommended, this little powerhouse arrives armed with bags of clothes, props, ideas and a bucket load of enthusiasm.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Silk over a period of 2.5 days. It was as much a social occasion as a photoshoot. Silk is one of the minority who brings a vocational approach to image making rather than a the quest for dollars. Nothing seems to much for he, even a request to cover her face with plaster of Paris, is greeted with enthusiasm. My principal hope is that I can provide her with images that reflect the effort she put in when shooting them.

An all round good egg and competent model, so book her now!

Highly recommended.

PS Forgot to mention, Silk arrives with a warehouse full of clothes, shoes, props and ideas. If you are lacking in ideas, she will provide them.

I worked with Silk on a dark and eerie shoot, with the awesome Roberto Segate.

I had already photographed Silk, when I had my OOAK hat on. Now we were to model together... I was super excited by this prospect, as not only do I know just how good a model Silk is, but I also find her to be one of the nicest people in the world - she is so kind, caring, empathetic, and generous. Her beautiful soul shines through in everything she does.

Silk works very hard, and her level of enthusiasm and commitment is infectious! She was abundant with creative ideas, and relaxed and able to go with the flow. We made a great team!!

We were both doing something a little out of our comfort zone - but Silk took this in her stride, and made me feel relaxed and comfortable too.

She poses so effortlessly, she makes such beautiful shapes with her body - everything she did just left me speechless - I am so inspired and in awe of this amazing model!
