Met Silk for first time on her studio day. She arrived fully prepared after excellent preshoot communication. A very talented and creative model who is a delight to work with. I will be working with Silk again ane reccomend her very highly.

I had a great shoot with Silk when she held a studio day at Solo Studio in Leicester. She works hard to help get a good shot and makes the shoot a lot of fun. I have some lovely images from the shoot to grace my portfolio. I would highly recommend.

Pre-comms with Silk were excellent for her sell-out model day. She was punctual, bubbly and offered good conversation. To make matters even better, she brought some lovely chocolate brownies along too!

I am happy to recommend Silk as a model. She is a good all rounder - Photogenic, good looks, great body, a versatile poser and fun to work with. She's professional but at the same time is down to earth and does'nt take herself too seriously. I would definitely work with her again.

2nd Shoot with Silk, did I have a good day?....... No..

1st she tried to kill me by making an overweight 54 yr old climb the side of a mountain in the searing sunshine. I thought I was having a heart attack (4 times). When I got to the top I was cooking, so had to embarrass the world and remove my top to cool down. Whilst still topless I went head first into the biggest gorse bush I could find, I came out apparently looking like something out of the hell raiser movie Blood and needles everywhere. we finished the shoot on the top of the hill and walked back via a FLATish trail. (baby wipes and fresh cuts don't mix well, they sting very well thank you)

We went onto a 2nd location where there was another hill to climb, this one wet and muddy....

Silk kept me very busy all day with 850+ images taken, lots of driving and running around, more energy exertion in 9 hrs than I expended in a year. So no I didn't have a good day, I had and absolutely FANTASTIC AWESOME day.

I LOVE working with Silk, she is SOOOO full of enthusiasm, ideas, energy (too much for us oldies). Nothing and I mean NOTHING is a problem for this wonderful wonderful lovely young lady. Always trying her hardest to get the best pose, constantly looking at the back of camera to see if she can improve anything.

Silk comes VERY HIGHLY Recommended to all. I'm already planning shoot number three and I can't wait.

You know when someone has been on your "want to work with list" for ages and you finally get to work with them and worry if it's going to be as good as you imagine it will be? And then it's even better and you wonder why you were worrying in the first place. Yeah, that!

Silk is just a lovely person to spend time with and that is before we started shooting. Fully engaged in the creative process and constantly coming up with suggestions to complement and improve on your own vague ideas.

We managed to cover a hell of a lot of ground in our time but never felt rushed, moving around Silk's lovely home to find the best spots to work in.

I really wished Silk lived nearer, but i'm already planning my next trip to Wales and hope to have the opportunity to shoot with her again.

Well, here I am again, wracking by brains to think of something that hasn't already been said about this amazing model...

Oh, I know...

I got Silk to play with live maggots today.

And this is a measure of both the model and the woman behind the artist.

There are few souls as creative and as enthusiastic as Silk. Grasping and embracing the idea from the start, Silk helped TJ and myself bring the shoot alive.

There are already whispered plans for the next shoot...and the one after that...

You get the idea I'm sure. Your portfolio needs this model

Firstly a thank you to Silk for delivering an utterly amazing day in Ceredigion on Saturday.

Our shoot was planned well ahead and as such we took our chance with the weather.

We had incredible dry warm conditions for our whole day shoot.

Pre comms were excellent.

Silk has boundless energy and spirit. She came full of super concepts, locations and ideas, all of which worked perfectly. Mountain streams, waterfalls, remote train station ( although a few surprise trains and even more surprised/ delighted drivers), Reed beds, sand dunes, sunset beach. We had everything .

To top it all Silk is a super driver, her dog Piglet is the friendliest ever, her cooking is delicious, plus our picnic lunch I brought was enjoyed on the station platform on Silks fold out . She thinks of everything.

After a deep sleep overnight , a brew and hearty team work porridge, it was time to head off to shoot the next day with Leaf.

Ceredigion you delivered.

Silk you delivered in spades and I can’t think of a better Saturday either past or future.

Only had chance to review just a few shots so far, but our regular collaborative back of camera reviews and discussion on angles, light, exposure and locations, made it an object lesson of what a great model working with a photographer trying his best really can achieve.

We labelled this the Epic Weekend for Silk & I to get together with Kes Wild for what we knew would be a fantastic couple of days. Silk never fails to amaze with her posing, styling and sheer loveliness, an absolute delight to shoot with as we bounce off each others creativity.

Silk came prepared with cases full of clothes, headpieces and makeup, I guess there was enough to shoot for a week or for every eventuality and we kinda put that to the test working from art nude, glamour, ball gowns and finishing with some chavtastic styling ha!

Book Silk now as her diary is filling up, in the mean time she is of course highly recommended and I can't wait to work with her again soon. Thanks Silk X

At the risk of repeating many of the wonderful statements that have been made before, Silk is a most beautiful model and person.

We spent a full day and evening working and chatting together and I will never tire of this girl's company. When working she is wonderfully creative and extremely patient. When conversing she is intelligent, forthright and caring.

This was my first shoot with Silk and I can't wait to work with her again. Silk has my highest recommendation and my sincere thanks. Tony

Silk had come recommended to me both by Robin French and Cariad.

Firstly, I must express how polite, respectful, caring, friendly and truly down to Earth Silk is as a person. She is someone who clearly puts others before herself.

I felt so at home in her presence, I could easily have spent the whole day just chatting away with her. She also surprised me when I discovered that we love so much of the same music.

As a model, she is undoubtedly one of the finest. She would hold a single pose while I took forever with my test shots.

What had been initially booked as a six hour shoot was extended by one hour. It hasn't sunk in just how much fun I had today with Silk as we went through several sets based around the late 1960's/early 1970's where she produced some of the most beautiful garments in the most beautiful colours. We then followed up with a few lingerie and nude scenes.

Cariad wasn't kidding about Silk, and it isn't hard to see why she recommended her so highly (not that she needed any recommendation of course).

Thank you so much Silk. I hope today was just as fabulous for you as it was for me and I truly hope that we can do this again soon.

Silk, the legend in her own lunchtime, is simply wonderful in every way!

A versatile model, she is as composed and creative in sub-zero temperatures wading naked into the pool at the base of a frozen waterfall as she is in a posh frock on the banks of a venetian canal or contorting her figure into fantastic shapes in the studio or smouldering across the sheets in a boudoir... There is nothing that this lady can't make look effortlessly beautiful.

But... the best bit is that, whatever her mood, whatever is thrown at her, she is simultaneously professional AND amazing fun to work with.

When i win the lottery i'm gonna book her for a year and pay double her rate. :) So don't risk missing out and book her NOW!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Silk (and Cariad) today at Map Studio. Silk is a great model to work with and was open to trying out all of my ideas. Silk is bubbly and easy to get along with and seems to know exactly what will work in the camera. Really enjoyed the session, and I am really happy with the images we made. Thanks Silk!

Working with Silk be it on a 1-2-1 or as a duo is an absolute pleasure. I was impressed with this most personable young lady the first time we worked together so when I learnt she was coming back to my area with Cariad it was a no brainer for me. Silk is a very confident young lady and very adapt to making fantastic shapes on window ledges. This last time as a duo with Cariad it was so much fun and as with any fun shoot the time just flew by. I'm booked again on a June return by this dynamic pair to MAP Studio and my recommendation is that you should not miss working with Silk. Thank you Silk - you're a star :)
