I had the pleasure of shooting with Carl for the first time this week during my tour of the south west. I was privileged to have been invited to work with this master of cinematic- style eroticism!

More so, to be different to the models I had previously seen in his portfolio was flattering! Pre-communication was excellent and on set they are very high energy and with great attention to detail. A naturally gifted person of artistic vision!

Carl was very hospitable at their studio and when working they gave great direction, though - expect pet names-a-plenty!

They were very complimentary about my physique and inspired for me to realy exaggerate it in my poses!

I feel like we realy pushed each other and hightened our styles!

I would gladly recommend Carl Grim and am very greatful of our shoot. I looking forward to working with them again in the future. Already inspired!

Wow! What can I say. Today I had the very great pleasure of shooting with Carl Grim in a duo shoot with the very lovely Elegant Eve. Carl was very complimentary of my pre-shoot ideas and planning and he was very welcoming on the day which was reassuring for someone like myself who is new to modelling. Although we had extensive moodboard ideas we had shared beforehand his experience and direction came to the fore and I was happy to experiment and be creative given his experience. Throughout the shoot he was extremely professional and positively reinforced when it was going well as well as adding humour when required. He truly is the master of light, perfecting each shot with relentlessly exacting standards. He makes you work hard for the results but he is a true gentleman along with it and the 5 hours literally flew by. From what I have seen already on the camera we have captured some great images. I had a wonderful model in Elegant Eve to pose with. I can’t wait to see the results and I look forward to the next time I am lucky enough to shoot with Carl. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

Incredible!!!

I worked with Carl for the first time yesterday at his location as part of a duo shoot with dannyboy1.

From the outset Carl was an excellent host but more to the point an amazing photographer. His use of lighting, creativity and imagination are just amazing. The images from the back of the camera that he shared throughout the shoot were staggering. I cannot wait to see the end results.

Whilst shooting Carl is fantastic at giving direction whilst also allowing the model's input to achieve great results.

I would most certainly work with Carl again if given the opportunity and would recommend him to other models as a must shoot with photographer.

Highly recommended without any hesitation.

I worked with Carl recently on a trip to Southampton and OMG what a blast!!!

I last worked with Carl last year, when I was a stone heavier and not as fit or flexible, so it was a real pleasure to meet up again and shoot- especially as I could see how far I had come in terms of my health and fitness on screen which was extremely encouraging to see!

I had popped up to the area the evening before to get a good nights rest and stayed in Carls lovely fully equipped studio. We worked together over the course of the day from late morning onwards, using the AMAZING space that Carl had designed. My absolute favourite feature of Carls studio has to be the water feature, which was so comfortable, warm and a joy to work on!

Carl was extremely kind, hospitable, respectful and made sure I was happy throughout the day. Carl also gives fantastic direction and really pushes the model to achieve the best shape and shot possible! :) He is also very kind, complimentary and really appreciates the model. When you work with Carl it is a collaboration and you feel very appreciated. As a result you trust each other and produce beautiful work together.

The shots we created together are our best together yet and have received so much love! I am extremely proud of what we created that day and really look forward to the next shoot in August! Thank You so much Carl, the edits are stunning and I have no doubt that I will admire them for many years to come. You are a lighting genius! Helen x

Carl is amazing! I had my first shoot with him recently, it was incredible fun and the results were even more incredible. We got some amazing images!

He gave perfect direction throughout the shoot and is a brilliant confidence giver, a very enthusiastic, friendly and talented photographer. Making the shoot one of my favorites ever.

I would highly recommend working with him if you get the chance and I really hope I get the opportunity to work with him again :)

Carl what I like about working with you most, aside from the results, which I’ve been awaiting with baited breath for weeks! is your constructive direction skills. The extreme precision with which you are able to enhance my poses toward the lens with my angle to the light makes for a first class collaboration of creative and scientific minds. I can’t explain how happy I am with the jaw-droppingly impressive results you sent me just yesterday!

The same thing happened in spain when we worked together a few years back.

I like that my poses were respected, and you did not once presume to know how to pose me; my style and intuition were paramount when it came to the modelling. Never has direction from a photographer enhanced my image so powerfully..

I felt at liberty to pose in ways that 99% of the time I avoid, in fear of being misunderstood and/or misrepresented. With such a deep understanding not only of light, but of bodies as sculptural vessels of art, I was overjoyed & honoured to have had the opportunity a second time to pose for such a worthy and dedicated master of this industry.

You are refreshingly fastidious, with exacting standards that met my own. When it comes to creating powerful, high quality well executed nude imagery there’s simply nobody who does it better. An artist to the core.

World Class- and a lot of fun to spend time with too! Thank you!

I love to working with Carl!

First of all: he is a very nice person with full of energy.

And: his studio is just great. There is everything what you need! Place, aerial stuffs, hoop, silks, pole, possibility for water shooting, great door and wall.

We had 2 shooting and they were so different!

He understands the lighting very much and I love his lightings! He checked if I had to turn just 5 degrees and he was right!

I love his mentality and I’m looking forward to shooting with him again!

Today I had the absolute pleasure of working with Carl and what a fantastic experience.

I've admired carls amazing work since joining purple port 10 months ago so when the opportunity came up to work with him I was completely over the moon.

I drove down to Carls home/studio the night before and was greeted with a very warm welcome by carl who made me a drink and snack after such a long drive and really did make me feel at home.

The following morning we started shooting In carls fabulous studuo. ..it is very clear to see why Carl produces the images he does, his use of lighting is just amazing .. Carl knows what he wants out of a shoot and knows how to get it.

Throughout the shoot Carl gave me clear direction and advice on how to angle my body to get the best results but also offered as many breaks as needed always asking if i was ok or needed 5 mins.

Would I recommend Carl? Absolutely I would 100% 👌👌

So where do i begin. . . . . FANTASTIC

I recently had my first shoot with the extremely talented Carl grim.

As a true gentalmen Carl collected me from the station always helping with luggage. I received such a lovely warm welcome from both him and his wife, it felt like staying with family. Such a lovely couple to get to know and spend the evening with. It was such a pleasure.

Carl's studio is amazing. I fell in love as soon as I walked through the door. He has truly created something magical and it's never ending. Fantastic set ups and all sorts off extras hidden away.

On the day of the Shoot Carl had printed out and provided inspiration images along with my own. He of course already had everything set up and as soon as we started shooting we where on a roll. Carl provided me with so much knowledge with the lighting and I do feel I learnt so much from him. He is also extremely talented at capturing jumps and movement on the first/seconded attempt which is fab to fit more in.

I love his enthusiasm when shooting it boosts the atmosphere and makes you feel like a super star. His skills as a photographer are insane!! I was amazed by the BOC shots and over the moon with the final images. We shot for 8 hours and it flew by i could of stayed all week. Carl also really worked around sets I wanted to capture. We had such a great time together it is so easy to chat and laugh along with such a happy character.

After driving down for several hours from the midlands to carls studio, had an amazing welcome. Carl is friendly relaxed and funny. I felt relaxed and more than at home, his spacious studio is beautiful. He has a expert eye for beautiful images and i do believe it is hard for him not to take an amazing image. We shot some dark edgy, erotic and fetish with my new wardrobe i was very eager to take with me of fetish items and lingerie. We are looking to work together at some point in the next few months, you really dont want to miss the chance to work with carl he is Ace at what he does and is very passionate. I am very much looking forward to seeing the results. I 100 percent recommend carl. I have admired his work secretly for some years and i am a very happy lady that i have spent some time creating beautiful erotic images. Thanks Carl :)

What an experience!

Carl's stunning creations are a true testament to his incredible talent and passion for artistically sensual images. He truly is The Lord of Light! Working with him was an absolute must when I came across his profile many moons ago, and it certainly exceeded expectations.

Carl; an absolute character and a pleasure to work with, will have you looking your absolute best with his vast knowledge of angles, posing and lighting of course!

Not only is his professionalism admirable but his personality makes for an all round enjoyable experience.

The perfect host, I was welcomed at the station and instantly made to feel welcome and comfortable in his private studio where I stayed. Carl and his wife were incredibly warm and friendly, and I cannot wait to visit again. We already have 2 separate multiple day shoots booked over the next few months!

If you get the chance, do not hesitate to work with this incredible artist, I am completely in awe of the photos!

I am a photographer and I did my first underwater shoot at Carl's studio. His pre-shoot communications were first class, so that on the day I was well prepared. When technical difficulties arose Carl always found the solution. His set up was superb and the lighting options offered great scope. His advice and explanations throughout the shoot helped me to achieve the images I was hoping for. Carl is a very patient, knowledgeable and friendly person to work with.

Carl is very friendly, professional and educated gentlemqn as well a best photographer of the world. I always learn about lots of variety of topic during the shoot with Carl which is very interesting and fun.

We shoot "Fifty Shade of Grey"- the images.

Carl has prepared the studio and a lot of staff. The pictures left me speechless.

Wow!! What a shoot!

Had my first shoot with Carl today and it was just as expected. He is such a lovely man and made me feel so welcome first thing! He kept me laughing throughout the shoot and made sure I was comfortable at all times.

I have worked with many amazing photographers but Carl brings something very unique to a shoot. His creativity and passion for art is outstanding and his understanding of light is just brilliant. He perfects his images. I was really amazed with the results! After 5 years of modelling today I tried poses I’ve not done before because I never thought I could pull them off, but wow! All you need is a photographer who can make them work! Absolutely can’t, would love to work with again.

The images were amazing and that’s just from back of camera!

I very highly recommend.

My lucky 19th shoot with Carl was under the water in his swimming pool!

I already knew that Carl was a talented, thoughtful, friendly, great photographer but this time I realised how very intelligent, considerate, accommodating and brilliant he is.

Carl and his intelligent and kind son created a totally safe and highly efficient studio in their swimming pool for this under water shoot. All the electricity, lights were tied safely at two points by rope, there was a weighted white backdrop and hand made mirror, suspended and submerged in the water. This required a high level of practical engineering knowledge.

Carl kept his eyes on me throughout the shoot and offered breaks at the perfect timing several times with nice cups of warm coffee, dry towels and extra heater, concerned that the shoot could become too much for me.

I totally respect all his enthusiasm, effort and expertise directed at making excellent images and I am honoured to be involved in shoots with this awesome photographer.

Totally, totally recommended and cannot wait to work with him again SOON!

Finally got to work with Carl, after wanting to for some time!

What a decent, professional and creative Photographer he is!

He took into consideration my needs making sure I was comfortable throughout, with his creative flare his direction was simple to follow yet ceating some complex creative images, his photographic skills, lighting expertise and easy going personality made him very easy to work with.

His own studio at his home in Fareham was very well equipped, holding fantastic photo opportunities whatever corner, not to mention the rain storm feature he installed which captured some amazing water featured photos.

Would highly recommend and look forward to working with Carl again in the future x

I had a fantastic shoot with Carl yeasterday at lovely studio in Fareham. I have been wanting shoot with thid talented man for while now ane I am so glad we finally did!

Carl is a lovely person as well as being a really talented photographer.

I've seen a huge improvement in his photography over the years and it 's fantastic to witness. He clearly has a flare for photography and produced top class images.
