My first shoot today at Rutland House and what a terrific place! Will certainly be planning to shoot there again on a regular basis. Mike and Amy were perfect hosts, so relaxed and made us feel instantly at home. Really appreciated the freedom to set myself up with my own gear outside the studio room and the bob in and out with various outfit changes. Highky recommended.

I've just had a really fun afternoon shooting with Amy Rose at the Rutland House Studio in Normanton. The studio and apartment offer great scope for a variety of different shoots, so allow yourself plenty of time to do it justice. Lots of studio equipment is there (backdrops, strobes and lots of modifiers) for your use, more than enough for most types of shoot. I took along the majority of my equipment and it stayed in the car! You'll find that it's nice and clean and a pleasant environment to be working in. The hosts Amy and Mike are lovely, friendly and welcoming – and you get your tea made for you.

It’s an easy place to find and a short distance from the M62 motorway, which makes it a very convenient place.

So yes, I'd recommend it and hope to shoot there again. Cheers

Had a second shoot today at the studio and yet again Mike and Amy were amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome. Both are always on hand to help and nothing is too much trouble. Amy also matched Mike in the tea making stakes today ;-). The perfect local studio.

Had a great morning at Rutland House. Mike and Amy are very welcoming, pleasant and professional. All the comms with Amy were first class. In fact Amy is not only a great model but knows the camera well and - crucially - makes a great brew.

The studio is ideal and the well-lit apartment allows for plenty of variety. I shall return.

Just had a great shoot at Rutland House. Mike and Amy may be two of the most welcoming people I have ever met not to mention Mike makes a fantastic brew. The studio has great natural light as well as a very good studio lighting. After just a few hours I came away with a huge variety of images. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent studio, that has a surprising selection of opportunities for using natural light, as well as good studio lights for using with a variety of sets and props.

Easy access from M62 and convenient parking.

You will get a warm welcome and will be well looked after. Highly recommended.
