Absolutely love this studio its such a relaxed chilled place to shoot from. Its like shooting in a classy apartment but with the benefit of a studio room too. Mike and Amy have got it spot on here. It offers great value for money too. Mike is a great guy and is always on hand to help with any lighting issues or anything else you might need. I will be going back again that's for sure. Thanks guys see you soon.

I had my second shoot at Rutland House Studio a few weeks ago. Unlike some studios that are in rather industrial settings (i.e., a bit like a workshop area), this is a house and is in pristine condition ... spick and span. It's a great place to work.

I was picked up from the station by Mike who runs it. I didn't operate the lighting myself because it had been set up ... I just put the trigger on my camera and off I went.

A particular advantage of Rutland House is that Mike has worked with his resident models for a long time and they are very, very professional. I've only worked with Amy so far, but I have rarely met such a professional model. Certainly, the level of training and professionalism shown by Mike and his models at Rutland House is outstanding.

The working environment is excellent and Mike brings frequent cups of coffee ... he's the perfect host (as well as being a great photographer).

I will certainly be returning to Rutland house ... first to photograph Georgie who's another resident model and then to photograph Amy for the third time.

It would be hard to recommend Rutland House and Mike more.

Had a shoot here and have to say it is fantastic layout & area's very smart and great to work at. Pre-comms were fantastic upon the arrangement of the shoot and upon arrival - very warming & friendly and makes a great cup of tea (Y)

What a wonderful place to pose it was my first shoot at the studio, the first of many I hope.

Mike and Amy couldn't have been more helpful with advice, drinks and explanations. The inclusion of daylit rooms together with the flashlit backdrops in the studio room couldn't have been better.

I really felt at home and at ease which helped to generate a super photoshoot, I feel as though I have made two lovely friends. Thank you Amy and thank you Mike.

I had the stupendous pleasure of shooting at Rutland studio today, I was warmly welcomed at the door by Mike and was presented with a lovely coffee just minutes after arriving! :)

The studio has tons of backdrops to use as well as props and soft boxes, the lounge set had fantastic natural light which we used for most of our time there, and a beautiful boudoir set. This studio has one very important factor for me, and it's that it's clean and bright :D

Mike was a fantastic host by keeping the coffees coming, and happy to help set up lighting or change backdrops.

Easily and highly recommended by me, and I look forward to returning soon,

Visit number 5 or possibly 6 to this small but perfectly formed studio. As ever Mike was a great host, ready with a drink and always happy to give advice if asked for. I always enjoy my time at RHS and I'm sure I will be back.

I've just returned from a shoot at Rutland House Studio. After my experiences there, I have to say that this is not just a studio ... it's an institution.

A studio is a place with lights, props and an area in which to take photographs. An institution is so much more.

First, Rutland House has everything you would expect of a good studio. Moreover, it is spotlessly clean and tidy, making it a great environment for both model and photographer.

Second, it is friendly. Mike Jagger who runs it picked me up from the station, set up the lighting for me and checked all was well from time to time. He's great to work with.

Third, the models who work at Rutland House are carefully trained so that you are getting the highest quality professionals in terms of posing ability and attitude to the work.

I would recommend Rutland House to anyone, from beginner to expert. It offers a quality environment that facilitates your photography. And, to my surprise (given the quality), it's probably the cheapest studio around.

I had my first shoot at Rutland House just 24 hrs ago and what an enjoyable shoot it was. Its a studio that is Compact, Comfortable and Clean as well as being hospitable and welcoming. I've worked with Amy before on quite a few occasions now and Mike is no stranger to me either hence I looked forward to my shoot at Rutland. The guys looked after me and Amy was just superb. I can only recommend Rutland and say thank you but look out - cos I will be back :)

I had my first shoot at Rutland House Studio with the lovely Georgie Newman and Mike Jagger. I have to offer my profound thanks to Mike for his help and the loan of a lens after I dropped and damaged my own, so I owe him a great deal.

Mike was on hand to help set up lights and a great assistant.

I will recommend Mike, his studio and Georgie to all. Once again many, many thanks.

I hope to use Rutland house Studio in the future.

I can't thank Mike and Amy enough for their help with both sorting out the arrangements for the shoot and their (Mike's) assistance during the shoot.

It's a lovely studio with lots of shooting possibilities and one that I will be using again.

Lovely set up and people;nice studio space and various layouts make this a great place to shoot.

Excellent value for money with good chat and tea/coffee on tap.

Mike is a good host and I certainly came away with loads of cracking images.

This was my first shoot in any sort of studio for almost 30 years. Mike and Amy couldn't do enough, they left me to get on with what I was doing, but were there for assistance when I needed it..... and a supply of tea :-)

10 out of 10, highly recommended.
