I was delighted to meet Russ during a workshop I was hosting at the old bakery! Russ arrived ahead of time and sat patiently whilst the rest of the troops arrived and I got sorted.

From first conversation Russ seemed friendly and rather relaxed. During our 1:1 shooting time Russ's first impressions continued to impress and make me feel very comfortable and relaxed, he asked questions to help gauge my opinion or style and definitely was a true gentleman which was clear when I threw a few more risque poses. Russ made effort to show and explain a few ideas he had for us to create something different and unique, he had also prepared and offered the option of tethering so I could see the outcome as we went which was also very helpful. Lovely chap, I'd highly recommended him and hope we get the opportunity to work together again in the future. Many thanks 🙏🏼

What a fabulous shoot I had with Russ recently. He booked me as part of my tour to Gloucester and came to the place I was staying to shoot me. Pre communication was super easy and we had a shoot organised pretty fast. We shot for two hours working to US open leg. Russ has in his bio that he's a gentleman and I can second that. I felt so comfortable throughout the shoot and we got on really well too. All in all, it was a really fun and productive shoot. I would certainly recommend him and would love to work with him again myself if the opportunity arises.

Russ has been to a couple of my workshops, and has proved both a thoughtful and receptive photographer.

And, crucially, he has an ability to seek out and nail THE shot.

That's a valuable ability in any tog, and is always worth seeking out!

He had great communication and even gave me a lift to location. He really made me feel at ease instantly and his experience and professionalism shone through. I shot with Russ for the 3rd time recently (first time 1-2-1), his pre comms were great and he let me know what to bring along with me.

This shoot was on location, we shot around quite a few really cool remote and unpopulated areas (which is always appreciated when shooting art nude images) and we even had lunch at the top of rolling hills with a lovely view.

Russ is great to work with, he made sure I had time to warm up whenever I needed and great to talk to between locations. He picked me up and dropped me back where was best for me and was a pleasure to shoot with throughout the day and I would definitely recommend working with him.

I look forward to seeing the final images and hope to shoot together again sometime :)

This was my first time shooting with Russ at my group studio day at Loft Studio. He was lovely to talk to and I felt we had a good rapport. I shot with Russ again recently at a Valentines group shoot at Loft Studio, he was a friendly as usual and even bought his own fan heater along to make sure I was warm enough while shooting some art nude images!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Russ came back to Basford Hurst Cottage yesterday to shoot with Georgia Brown.

Russ is just delightful!! He is so easy to talk to, polite, friendly and a really nice person to have around!! He is an excellent photographer and really respects the property during his time here.

I have no hesitation recommending Russ and I really hope to see him again soon!!

I had a slot with Russ at leahs charity group shoot. I had shot with russ at another group shoot about 2 years ago so it was nice to catch up. Russ is an absolute gent and a sweetheart!! It was a bit hot but I was coping well today. We went and shot in the forest. Russ had found fallen trees for me to pose on. I love the shots. I also love some shots he took of another model. 100% recommended. hope to shoot with you at the next one!
