Shoot no.16 in the bag!!

After a very long time of me cancelling shoots due to serious health problems we finally got to shoot again yesterday at the wonderful Southhouse Retreat. I was super happy when Russ said he was going to book this location as Russ always knows the best spots to shoot and I knew we would get some cracking shots.

Russ is a personal friend of mine now and it is always great to catch up with him.

Bring on many more shoots to come!

I never get sick of saying this, I very highly recommend Russ to all!

Well I must say Russ lived up to his Trip Advisor Rating today lol 😂. I thought we had planned a days shooting while we discussing in pre shoot comms. How wrong was I !!!!!! 😂😂

Russ picked picked me up from Basingstoke station . From there we drove through

Hampshire, West Berkshire, Hungerford then on to Wiltshire.

We eventually arrived our destination. On top of 1 of the highest hills in the south east on the windiest day this year . 🙈🙈. This so called hill seemed more like a bloody mountain as the view was fantastic. Russ and I did try and get out the car however the wind 💨 kept the car doors 🚪 shut . So we decided to neck a few coffees and decide what we were going to shoot . Russ for some bizarre reason wanted to shoot art nude (me not him lol 😂) with sheer materials. I actually thought he was having a bubble . The winds were so strong I thought Jez Russ I’ll be flying off into clouds ⛅️. This set was really more like a Laurel and Hardy sketch I’ll have you know . I’m still laughing about it all .

Next hmmmmmm we walked to get of the field /hill. It’s actually called COMBE GEBBET. My name for it is SHEEP 🐑 S..T hill as it was covered in it. There’s Russ thinking I’m going to do art nude with material in barefoot . He’s having a larf. No way was I taking my trainers off haha. The main reason he wanted to take me there in the first place was to shoot using the old hanging post they used back in the days . We never shot it !!! Russ why didn’t we shoot next to that and not that shitty field lol . You took me all the way there for me to stand in poops 💩 for 10 minutes !!!!😂😂😂😂. It was really really difficult to pose as the winds were so strong . I nearly got blown away . That would of been a great capture for Russ to have shot . Shouting Chels come back we’ve got more locations to do lol 😂😂

We got back in the car to do shoot at a windmill he knew off . We couldn’t shoot there as there were ppl working there 🙈🙈. Not sure if the day was getting better or worse lol . Sorry I’m writing a book . I just think you’d love the funny bits while reading my ramblings lol

Bugger where did we go next . Ermmm well we drove back through Hungerford, West Berkshire then Hampshire. Russ wanted to do a shoot at Blue Sapphire Gin distillery . I wasn’t allowed a double gin for my troubles lol. I got changed . Russ took about 5 shots then we left . I’m now thinking is there something wrong with Russ today as he wasn’t quite sure what he was doing haha . Think hanging round me doesn’t help . We got on our jolly ole way passed by a log field. We did about 10 images then left . Russ showed me his local pub on the way back to the station . I really wanted to go in the pub nude and shout does RussB live round here as I’ve left my drawers in the back seat of his car haha. Russ quickly put his foot down and we sped off before I could open the door .

We set off onto another location when we saw the police who had blocked the road off we wanted to go to down . Russ had light 💡 bulb switch on . Oh we’ll go the other way!!! What did we see. More bloody police cars . Every which way we could of gone to the particular location was blocked off . We then had to do an extra 10 miles to get to the station . Holy crap 💩 what a day . Was it FUN ? HELL YES. 😂😂. I’ve never had so much fun in a shoot. Today’s shenanigans was bloody awesome 😎😎😎

Today was the best shoot I’ve had with Russ by far as it was so funny . I absolutely love working with Russ. He’s a gentleman a professional and a very good friend . I can’t recommend him highly enough . Just make sure if you go up in the hills with Russ wear flat shoes lol

I had my second shoot with Russ! As always Russ was very professional,creative and very kind! He picked me up from my home and drove to studio.

We shor for few hours and I was very happy with results of our work.

Only me again 😊. Umpteenth shoot with Russ today . Extremely successful and productive. I took Russ down to RiverSideStudio. As Russ has never been there before I thought best I take him somewhere different rather than Russ picking a location for us 😊.

I showed Russ around the whole studio including the land that was part of the studio hire.

We started of with a fashion set . I think I I had clothes on for most of the shoot for a change .

We do so m any different sets . Which we both thoroughly enjoyed. I was lucky I stumbled across to fantastic props that we used . Russ thought I was a hamster put it that way lol 😂. We shot in the indoor studio also using some of my hardware.

I absolutely love working with Russ. He’s a real treasure a real friend and a gentleman.

I can’t recommend Russ highly enough.

Let’s pop the cork and say cheers to another successful shoot. 🥂🥂🎉🎉🎊🎊

I had an enjoyable shoot with Russ at my home studio after I stepped in for a cancellation! He got lots of fun angles in the house, some that have never even been tried. I very much enjoyed the shoot and we got some lovely pics! A gentleman who I'd happily recommend to others. Thanks Russ!

Had my second shoot with Russ yesterday due to me asking for a last minute shoot and he was available. We managed to do a few different sets within the couple of hours that we had and it was great to catch up since the group shoot earlier in the month.

Russ is professional, chatty and thinks outside of the box which is what I really like about him and his work! Can't wait to see the images and I'm already looking forward to working with him more in the future.

Today was my second shoot with Russ and it was such a fun afternoon.

Me and Russ shot together a few years ago and just recently got back in contact. His communication is always good , he arrived on time and he was just as friendly as always . Wonderful company.

He directed well and showed me the images as we were creating them and they looked incredible.

He was my second photographer on a group shoot - and one of the shoots that I was looking forward to the most!

Before the shoot he messages me with ideas that suited me and my styling, also with reference images from previous years. This was super helpful to me!

Throughout the shoot he was friendly, encouraging and full of ideas and suggestions. He also let me loose around the farm too, as I demanded he photographs me on a old dump truck - oh the glamour! Haha.

I really had a wonderful time with Russ, I am so looking forward to seeing his images and to hopefully working with him again in the future!

I worked with Russ at a charity group shoot over the weekend and we had various ideas beforehand which were discussed, we decided to go with a bit of lingerie as well as some art nude and I got to work with some Isis wings which was challenging at first but once I got the hang of them it was great and I love the images that have come out from them!

Russ is very professional, always happy to give his own input and ideas as well as getting my own ideas as well. I had a great time and would highly recommend Russ to anyone thinking of working with him.

This is my 4th time shooting with russb, and what can I say that hasn’t been said before?

Russ is an absolutely amazing guy, so very chatty, always makes me laugh and have fun whilst shooting.

Russ had some great ideas as we was shooting in the barn and we shot from fashion to nude and all the pictures looked amazing back of camera!

I always recommend Russ b he’s a gem to work with!

met this guy gain at a groupshoot even though i chaged the plan at last minute i still got my kit of one because this guy amazing not only that we had a good talk this guy does not push leveils he now how to get good photos and now great angles we got to shoot in the swimming pool and he even joinned me even though i splashed him afew times trying to get on a swing i adore this guy and he a good friend to he didnt push me to hard as he knew i was ill but that didnt stop us i high highly reccoment this guy and defo shoot again without a doubt xx

Had a great first shoot with russ! He was a proper gentleman throughout picking me up and dropping me back off at my home 💕 We had the privilege of shooting inside Gloucester prison and omg I had so much fun lol think russ did too! Was a really fun shoot and russ made sure I was ok through the hole thing! I can't wait to see some of the images 💕 Would highly recommend russ to any model new or with experience he's fantastic! We had a very wonderfully enjoyable and productive shoot at a sensational location (scouted by Russ) during my latest tour of the South: and better still, weather wise we were so truly blessed that day! The location was out of this world and a true "Keira playground!" :P Russ has an exceptional eye for cool places to make pictures and we got a mix of absolutely gorgeous images done. Russ did an unquestionably amazing job of wrestling with the harsh light to make quality pictures out of the conditions. It can be tricky, especially when you've got a such pale model who literally does a better job of reflecting the light than an actual reflector plus sparkly garments. He rocked it, and worked the angles like a boss too... I just did my thing and clambered around the place whilst Russ through no end of awesome suggestions and ideas in the mix followed by capturing a stunning picture from the set. :)

The shoot wasn't always smooth sailing (not down to us in anyway) but down to one of the typically standard challenges that you get faced with from time to time when shooting on location. PEOPLE. What was usually a lovely quite and peaceful location with few people normally going there was quite busy and popular with families and teens on the day due to the great weather etc. But Russ was totally understanding and we shot some exceptional clothed images when the circumstances didn't allow for nudes... Even developing a fan club! Russ is very aware and respectful of making his models feel comfortable and I cannot stress this enough. Regardless of the shoot plan/goal, he will put models wellbeing and comfort first which is the sign of a true professional person. Sometimes you have to improvise and that's just what comes with location work... But we made it a blast regardless! :)

Communications were always absolutely fantastic from the start: I was very tied up with coordinating my travel plans for the tour and making sure it would all fit nicely so Russ was a huge hep with his swift and concise communications. He's a real gentleman and you get this from the very start of shoot discussions. We also had a great laugh on the shoot and chatted loads which always works wonders for forming an amazingly enjoyable rapport with teamwork. :) Part of the reason for doing the job is getting ace working relationships rolling and having lots of "high-five" moments. This shoot was exactly that and better!

Well what can I say about my dear friend Russ. We’ve shot so many times now I’m running out of words of appraisal about him .

I’ll start by opening up a box fireworks 🎆 🎇 🔥 🔥💥💥💥and crack open couple of bottles of champagne 🍾 🍾 🥂 🥂 to celebrate our umpteenth shoot together . It certainly was a shoot to celebrate as we totally smashed our shoot again . With my case of bits and bobs and Russ’s camera 📷 we created some cracking images. What I saw at the back of the camera I was extremely happy 😊.

Russ took me miles away near Oxfordshire to 2 fantastic locations. They certainly had a wow factor about them . The outfits I brought I don’t think I wore more than 2 lol. Being a nude addict it’s hard to keep me dressed so most photographers say lol 😂😊😉.

I absolutely loved our trip together as always. The weather was with us to so I got to sit amongst the flowers to capture something different that I’d not really shot before 😊.

I absolutely love working with Russ. I also love being his muse too. So we bang our ideas together and the ideas all work which is great 👍.

Russ is a dear friend to me as well as being a fantastic photographer. A gentleman and a wine drinker not a scholar lol haha . Oops Russ hee hee 😂😂. We’ve booked another 2 shoots in so I wonder where Russ will be taking me next time . Woo 😊.

Had my first shoot with Russ, picked me up from the railway station and dropped back there all to plan.

Very relaxed and easy going shoot, couple of minor interuptions, but nothing to get phased by. Totally enjoyable shoot.

Love to work with Russ again in the future.
