what a gentleman!!

My first time working with Russ who I must add travelled some miles to join myself and Vampire Princess on our workshop.

A delight to work with he noticed a few unique opportunities and shot from different angles which produced some cracking results.

Hoping our paths cross again, highly recommended

Inspire Studios Ltd

Russ’s first visit to the studio and hopefully not his last. He was very respectful of the studio, especially the COVID-19 rules in place. It was nice to know that he knows what he is doing with the lighting so I could leave him to it when shooting upstairs.

He is a gently spoken guy who is easy to get on with and very good with the model ensuring she has time to eat and is happy with what they are shooting.

Look forward to seeing some of the images they produced.

My first location shoot in a very long time and it was so nice to be shooting with Russ for it at the fab prison in Gloucester.

As always a joy and a great time, 21 shoots down and so many more to come!

Russ was great with a mask and keeping to social distancing rules.

A fab catch up, a fab location and such a fab photographer, perfect day in my eyes!

As always very highly recommended!

My second time working with Russ although the first time was a quick 15 min shoot during a networking event. Russ is great to work with and a brilliant photographer and I’m looking forward to working with him again soon

The Attic Studio

Russ attended a workshop we held in the studio with Vampire Princess. Great pre event comms etc. Arrived on time and ready to go with everything he needed. As we discussed elements throughout the workshop Russ was keen to take in the information and what effects it would have etc. Captured some great shots looking at BOC. gelled with the other photographers who attended the session really well.

Would happily have Russ back in the studio and therefore recommend to all, a thoroughly nice guy.

Had my first shoot with Russ, which was a duo shoot at my place with Gabriella Knight. He arrived on time, was polite and chatty and had great ideas. We did some duo and solo images as well to get a nice variety. What else can you ask for? The images so far look lust, and can't wait to see more! Thanks for the great session Russ, hope we can work together again soon! X

I had a lovely shoot with Russ at Sandon Studio weekend and hopefully we will be able to work together again one day!

Russ arrived on time, with a great , happy attitude and we got on really well. He was really kind, funny and we had a really nice chat. We tried out a few different ideas and definitely had a good time doing it!

Shoot 20 in the bag and what another fab shoot it was. This time at the wonderful Clock tower. I was so excited to shoot here with Russ as there is so many options and we worked so well there.

As usual pre comms were excellent, Russ provided lunch and lots of chatting and catching up.

It really is spending a day with your friend taking photos and I love it.

Looking forward to many more shoots together and as I have said from all my past shoots, I very much highly recommend Russ to all!

Russ booked a few slots in my studio day. He is always a pleasure to work with. Brings lots of props and knows how to light a set to get what he wants. We had some entertaining times trying to communicate over the noise of a bathroom fan, music we couldn't figure out how to turn down and a shower, but we ended up mime-ing til we got there. Was an excellent shoot and I really enjoyed shooting with Russ. I look forward to next time. Highly recommended

2nd shoot with Russ today and wow it did not disappoint. This time he picked me up from home and we went to South house retreat which was my first time. We had the whole day and Russ was a real gent throughout, even paid for us to have lunch. Russ is a very warming and humble person and makes you feel at ease right away. He has a eye for detail and knows what he wants to capture. Thank you so much Russ I look forward to working with you again x

Had an awesome day with Russ! We shot at a wide of locations including a church, a derelict barn And a castle ruin around Newbury. I felt at complete ease as soon as I arrived and was welcomed warmly. Russ made sure I was ok all throughout and showed me images as we went along. He has a very good eye for detail and art and knows what to capture with you. We did a range of looks including glamour, gothic and glamour which are the 3 looks which suit my look the best. I highly recommend Russ to anyone who wants a day of fantastic photography with a true gent. Thank you so much Russ, I look forward to the images:) chaz x

I've been lucky to shoot with Russ who is a great friend of not only myself but my partners, last week and today!

A fantastic location shoot last week and a great shoot on my Sandon studio weekend today.

100% stand by all my previous refs and looking forward to our 20th later this year :)

I really enjoyed working with Russ last month during his little visit to Sandon Studio. Russ helpfully sent me a brief before the shoot, meaning I was well prepared with regards to costume and hair/MU. Russ is a friendly and easy-going person who worked well with me to communicate his ideas and get the best possible results from the shoot.

We shot some beautiful and interesting images and had an enjoyable time working together on the shoot throughout.

I hope to have the pleasure of further work with Russ and highly recommend him to models and other creatives.
