Had the great pleasure of working with the amazing RobertoSegate today! I must admit that I had high expectations before today's shoot and they were more than met. He blew me away with his creativity and ideas.

The day started off well in my eyes, he thoroughly explained the action plan for the day and gave me plenty of time to prepare and refreshments were provided. Then we got started... What an amazing and fun filled day! Definitely one of my best shoots yet :D Exhilarating and adventurous, it was definitely a must have experience and I've come away from the shoot still buzzing from today's antics! Conversation was great and flowed nicely, and we already started discussing ideas for another shoot! Can't wait to work with you again if you'll have me :D

Highly recommended to all models looking to explore the weird and wonderful!

Aw wow I had such an amazing day! so much fun! felt like kid again dragging myself through dirt and water (actually looking back don't think I was ever that bad!) but I had such a great day! roberto is such a genuinely lovely person and funny too! my day flew by and looking forward to seeing some images and working with him again! I would jump at the chance of working with him again! brill! 😊

Well where do I begin I had a shoot with Roberto and it was my favourite shoot so far! I have a big love for the dark art and loved the chance to express myself. When I got there I was greeted with a lovely welcome and given refreshments. We first took a look at some of his work and discussed what we were going to do and it flowed from there! Roberto is so easy to work with and very fun to be around he was professional at all times and always a gentleman. It was a messy morbid massacre and I loved it. Afterwards I was offered a shower and my travel costs covered. When we looked at the images after I couldn't believe my eyes! I was in love! Roberto has a very artistic eye he's so creative and talented I cannot wait to work with Roberto again and cannot recommend him enough . Thank you so much for the opportunity!

Working with Roberto was a delicious treat. He was very welcoming and helped me feel relaxed and free very quickly. Courteous whilst dispensing useful advice, encouraging in his creative suggestions, and professional from beginning to end. He has a defined vision of a final image and a comprehension of dark beauty that is very rare. I would recommend him absolutely and would bite his hand off if he asked me to work with him again.

Oh Mr Roberto how I adore you!

Was our first shoot a dream? If not how could we ever hope to emulate such a magical day a second time?

Well with the help of a certain models sacrifices you had an true bolt of lighting, light bulb moment of inspiration and together we rocked it!

It goes without saying that you are an amazing photographer with an artistic eye unrivaled by anyone I have ever known. Your ability to create something with so much depth and intrigue, something that leaves the viewer in emotional turmoil, hypnotized by the the visions you create out of something so sparse, so simple has me feeling like a pilgrim reaching their holy destination, you fill me with awe. You need no more than one shaft of light, or a little water, some food colouring and a space no bigger than say, a kitchen maybe a bit of dirt and some haphazardly smeared on eye shadow, and with these simple tools you create and fashion a whole world. And you breath true life into this world, giving it a mind of it's own so that it can infiltrate those who come into contact with it and inspire in them all manner of emotions, thoughts, and undefinable sensations that have people gripped and frenzied by what your are molding and shaping before their eyes.

And to top it all of you have reaffirmed so much for me, and within me, in regards to my modelling.

You are as much a pleasure to sit and talk with as you are to shoot with. Your calm and pleasant voice while you direct and the camera clicks away is magnified through your intelligent and honest conversation as we sit and speak through mouths full of food in the sunshine.

You have enriched me as a model and as a person and I can't thank you enough.

Yes I would recommend shooting with Roberto and nope I can honestly say that he and he wonderful wife do not chop models up and bury them under the patio! If your offered a shoot with Roberto grab the opportunity with both hands and don't let go until you covered in compost and writhing in a pool of water wondering how you'll ever get out of this asylum alive!!!

From the moment me and Rob chatted about the shoot, i knew it was going to be a good one! As soon as i arrived i instantly felt relaxed and just immediately clicked with Rob.

The shoot itself was absolutely superb! I don't think i've ever had as much fun with this type of work as i did with Rob, we both knew exactly what type of image we were looking for, and also how to get it. From sliding on the kitchen floor in fake blood to acting like a mental patient behind i curtain, i don't know which bit i enjoyed most!

I would recommend Rob to anyone without any hesitation and i certainly hope that we work together again in the future!

I've had a brill day and the experience as been amazing I loved doing sfx make up today and I will most defo be working with him again great guy and fantastic photographer :)

What an amazing day.

Roberto is absolutely fantastic. I'm buzzing so much I can't even put it into words.

He was well planned for the day, knew exactly what he wanted but so open to input. Incredibly creative, Roberto is a totally unique human being. I am so happy with what I've seen on the back of the camera, both the stills and the short video and I feel like I've made a wonderful friend who I will work with again and again, not only as a model but also on various creative projects.

The best thing about working with Roberto? His fab taste in music.

So highly recommended. An absolute gem.

Well what can I say??!! I think my shoot with Roberto was my messiest and favourite shoot to date and I don’t think my words can do it justice but I’ll try!

Roberto is so passionate about his work it is impossible to not be inspired. Through his project he has created a whole new world to explore and it is dark, emotional and beautiful. I felt like together we created a real character and he gave me the freedom to just live that character, to just BE someone else and get lost in my head. Roberto gives just the right amount of direction and then let’s you add your own energy and ideas to the story which as a model is very liberating and it was a very cathartic experience.

I felt incredibly comfortable with Roberto who is also very very funny and had me in stitches all day! Which is something you need when you are creating some very intense images!

He also makes a wicked good black blood drink ;)

I am so proud of what I have seen so far and the art we have produced together. It is not often you work with someone totally on the same page as you and what brings out your passion, but I can say I did and definitely will be again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I shot with Rob a couple of months ago and am just catching up on Purple Port references! Rob, of all the people I've worked with, has stuck quite poignantly in my mind as one of the most creative and hard working photographers I've met. His kitchen had been turned into a make-shift asylum! his wife helped us make a pot of fake blood! His cat kept me company as I prepared! haha. In all seriousness though, Robs attention to the detail in his images is phenomenal. When you see how much work goes into his costumes, his 'patient/panoptican labels' and his set...not to mention the fantastic images after editing... You'd be a fool not to book with him. It was truly honour and one I hope to revisit!

A fantastic shoot with this wonderful man.

A departure from the other styles of shoots I have already done, but a very enjoyable change for me.

It turns out it is difficult to look miserable with RobertoSegate. Though you likely won't be able to tell from the images he chooses, he kept having to tell me off for smiling, I'm sorry it was fun/funny!

Had a great time and am so pleased to be part of such an interesting project.

He gave helpful directions when my freak flag waned or I got a bit stuck.

Good times, recommend big time.

I'll update this once I've gotten some images back; for now, I'll just talk about my experience shooting with Rob...

Rob is fantastic and I absolutely love his work; it's very different from the photographers I usually shoot with, which is why I was so adamant to have his work as part of my portfolio. Rob is enthusiastic, gave excellent direction and was keen to explain his process with the images and what I could expect to get from the shoot.

I felt very at ease shooting with him and would happily work with him again (and again and again).

Highly recommended!

I must admit, I ummed and ahhed about working with Roberto for a while, not knowing if I would suit his style and do it justice. However, when I saw a casting call, I decided to go for it and I am *so* glad I did! I had an awesome day, such a laugh and came away with some brilliant and very different images. We have our 2nd shoot booked and I'm very much looking forward to it!

We had a fantastic shoot early summer of last year, for Roberto's upcoming book.

It was messy, chaotic and oh-so-much fun!!

Roberto provided much tea, which will always win brownie points, and allowed me to roll around on the kitchen floor covered in fake blood (which was, of course, all in the name of art! Not because it was boiling hot... ;-) )

The shots were fantastic, and I've loved chatting with Roberto about the progression of his project.

We are now making plans for another project - fingers crossed it won't be too far away!

Highly recommend this talented artist, would not hesitate to work with him again!

An extravaganza of artistic excellence.

I discovered Roberto work through a photographer friend a few months ago and fell really hard for his work, a tiny shard of which is displayed here on his PP portfolio. I found it easy to loose myself in his images and allow them to inspire me with feelings rather than imprint my own over them. So when Roberto got in touch with me about a shoot I was literally vibrating with excitement at the dream like opportunity I was being presented with. And the shoot lived up to and even went so far as to eclipse my expectations. Roberto is a brilliant, original and passionate person and photographer with the skill and talent to back it all up. But he is also sweet and considerate of those he works with. We weren't rushed so had the time to find our working flow, which came easily in his company. I felt safe and therefore confident with him which in turn allowed me to really submerge myself in a specific role, something I had not until this shoot had the opportunity to do. This was helped more so by the world Roberto has created, with his clothing, props, backdrops and more. He knows his world inside out and has made it a place where being expressive is less a choice and more a matter of course. I experienced so many firsts and learned so much during this shoot.

I have to stop now as I could go on for hours about how fantastic this shoot was :)

I highly recommend Roberto and would relish the opportunity to work with him again.

I had such an awsome shoot with rob yesterday! i normally do alot of glamour work so was good todo something different like this, really really enjoyed and and we got some brilliant images that i cannot wait to see when rob has worked his magic on them :). highly recommend rob to anybody! cant wait for our next project :)

After communicating via social networking sites for four months it was great to finally meet and shoot with the infamous Roberto Segate on Saturday! The shoot lived up to all of my expectations and I left feeling on an absolute high and a buzz that only comes from the most lucrative and productive of shoots. Rob is professional, insightful, charismatic, patient, and is one of the most creative people I could hope to meet. He strives to completely own an image by creating everything in it, from the surroundings, backdrops, clothes and the look of the model. His attitude towards a project is one of absolute passion and it demands respect from all he discusses it with. Listening to your genius was an honour and a pleasure, and I'm thrilled to have had this opportunity to contribute to such a thought provoking and awe inspiring concept. I of course highly recommend a shoot with Roberto, and if I ever get the opportunity again I must be sure to allow for double the time, where does the time go when you're having fun eh?!

I had a shoot with Roberto last week and it was probably the most fun shoot i have ever been on! He has amazing ideas and is friendly and easy to work with. I love his work so much and it is awesome that i am now apart of his project and got to help someone work towards what will be a work of art! Also he helped me realize not only do i pull off crazy exceptionally well, but that i can produce an array of expressions and offer a broader variety of images in my port!

What an amazing shoot. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Roberto is a very kind and hospitable person. We ran through ideas which we both clicked with immediately. Very good and clear thoughts about what he wanted from the shoot. He made me feel very welcome and at ease. I had no issues at all. I would love to work with Roberto again. I highly recommend him 😄
