Did a shoot with Rob at a Session Days Masters of the Air WW2 re-enactment courtesy of Hanger 42 @ Blackpool airport. I have wanted to do a shoot with Rob for ages and finally got my chance. He was brilliant, so cool and debonair that made the shoot effortless. Rob has a great sense of humour and made the whole thing enjoyable. Rob did not disappoint, and my only concern was that he smokes too much and is cooler than Steve McQueen. He is so cool he could freeze Hades.

An absolutely top class model & great bloke. Sooo many authentic props, great creativity, brimming with an endless range of poses, all topped off with a likeable personality. It felt like a top shoot, once back home the pictures on my computer show that's exactly what it was.

They say don't meet your heroes in real life, you will be disappointed. I met mine in 1983 and I was in aweat the time and again in 1989. So when I had the opportunity to shoot with someone I followed on this site for a long time, I wasn't going t pass up the opportunity.

Rob was everything I expected him to be. A great character model with natural posing ability and no pressure. He was friendly with everyone at the club and didn't mind sharing the "limelight" with another model. I will definitely will want to shoot with Rob again in the future and I recommend any photographer to shoot with him as you will not be disappointed. A great guy.

My second shoot with Rob, and it was as enjoyable as the first. This was another group shoot at f/8 Studio in Gloucester and the theme was the movie Casablanca.

Rob had several different outfits and looked spectacular with the lighting which Paul Davies had set up. He is very easy to get on with, happy to take directiona and also pose without direction. I have no hesitation in recommending Rob, he is a consummate professional.

Another amazing shoot with Rob. He is such a professional model abd always comes equipped with enough outfits and accessories to keep everyone happy.

This shoot was 'Morpheus' and Rob put himself in so many positions it made my knees hurt just watching him!

Photos hardly needed any editing afterwards and I can't wait until the next session.

I shoot very few male models but Rob has always been one that i will,so many characters wrapped in one.A true professional and at the top of his game always.From art nude to gangster the man does everything.One of my very favourites and a man im proud to call a friend.As always i have so many great shots from this session.If you have never shot with Rob do it...If you have never shot male models then shoot with Rob

WOW WOW WOW. This man is quite simply awesome in every way..!!

This was my first meeting with Rob at an evening group shoot at Fareham Studio..

I had seen images of his previous work, I had read the glowing references, but when this most incredible man is standing in front of you you are quite simply blown away by his unique and outstanding ability to pull off the most amazing looks, poses, whatever you like to call them, never have I seen skills like this, every single image is a winner.

Rob brings the most incredible props which you can see in all of his images and oh boy does he know how to use them..!!

I almost cancelled on this shoot thinking it was not for me, this would have been one of big mistakes on my photographic journey..

I do not think that Rob has an equal and probably never will..

I will end with this..

Rob, you are an amazing man, model, and such lovely lovely person to be around, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you.. until next time, take care..!!

I first met Rob on a shoot at Fareham Studio last year. I had been aware of Rob's work for quite sometime so was looking forward to meeting and working with him. We hit it off right away and had a fabulous shoot going through many sets including outside.

So I was really pleased when invited on a group shoot with Rob once again on something of a comeback tour for him. Rob is one of the nicest people you could meet. He is very warm, an absolute joy, fun, and very professional. He is always immaculately turned out, well prepared with both clothing and props, poses with ease and always open to trying new things.

We had yet another great shoot together and it was so good to see him once again. We came away with another great set of images so thank you Rob. I am so pleased that we have become friends and I wish you well with your photography. So far it is looking good :)

I can't recommend Rob highly enough.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Rob on a group shoot at Fareham Studio.

Within a minute or so, we hit it off and I felt like had known Rob for twenty years. Such a great guy and a brilliant model.

Please bear in mind that this was my first ever shoot with a male model and I could not have picked a better guy to work with.

He looks great, has a fantastic stylish wardrobe. He also brought his arsenal with him. It's just as well that the studio wasn't raided by the police, with all the weapons he brought with him!

The one brilliant thing - of many - about shooting with Rob, there's no editing required. What you see is what you get and nothing else required. You don't smooth out skin on a guy who has features you want to bring out - not hide.

Typing this reference, two days later and still buzzing from the shoot, that's how good it was!

100% recommended by me. You get fantastic images, you speak to a guy who is great company and he knows exactly what he is doing. Please take it from me, if you wish to shoot with a brilliant male model, Rob's your man.

Had yet another totally amazing shoot with the one and only Retro Rob - in fact it was 2 shoots, a four hour one to one shoot followed by a group shoot.

Rob is so full of enthusiasm, energy, fun and has a wonderful personality. On top of all that he is an incredible model who puts everything into every single shot. He so wants every image to be a fabulous image, and with Rob they are.

He is an unbelievably good model and one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

The shoot was incredible - fun, relaxed and produced so many wonderful and varied images. Rob’s styles ensure you will get different images to anything else in your portfolio.

Rob and I worked together for a second time, during his recent studio day at Inspire Studios - something I'd looked forward to since our last collaboration a year earlier. This shoot was just as enjoyable as the first and I had a great time working with Rob to realise the mood-boards I'd put together, most following the vintage Hollywood gangster and noir styles that we both love so much.

Rob, as always, was a joy to work with - bringing so much style and character to the sets we shot, as well as great ideas to take images to the next level. Rob was patient throughout, helping me put together sets and full of energy when it was time to shoot.

We were able to realise all the ideas we set out to and more besides. I'm very pleased with the images we created, all of which are elevated by Rob's wonderful storytelling abilities coupled with his impeccable wardrobe and props.

Having discussed some ideas for a future collaboration during our shoot, I'm looking forward to working with Rob again in future and making them a reality. If you have the opportunity to work with Rob, I'd wholeheartedly encourage you to do so.

Booking Rob for the 2nd time, meant I was secured of a very successful productive group shoot, knowing his professionalism !

And so it was with this assignment, at an OLD RAILWAY station, with Rob producing excellent 50s style clothing ! Then coupled with his energy to create a storytelling visual was just magic for all taking part in this 4hr shoot.

The body pose - styling - facial expressions - hand language - gave so much storytelling to our photographs.

A bonus additive to this shoot, was AnnMarie in duo captures, Oh how they worked as a team in all aspect of gaining a picture ! (see album)

I had the absolute delight of working with Rob on a Retro Styled group shoot arranged by MK Photography at a vintage railway station on the Spa Valley Heritage line in Kent. He was accompanied by the equally fabulous Ann-Marie Kelly, and together they absolutely nailed the retro look we were seeking and the result was a big set of beautifully cinematic images.

Rob's portfolio speaks for itself but it doesn't tell you that apart from having a great look, he has a fantastic attention to detail and is a thoroughly nice guy and really pleasant to work with.
