Orchard Studio, Cambridge

The studio is part of my home but has been set up with photography specifically in mind.  There are high ceilings, a kitchen (refreshments are free of charge).  There is also a shower room and a separate room able to be used as a changing room.  In that changing room there is a "Hollywood" style mirror and a full length mirror plus seating and hanging rail. 

The studio is equipped mainly with "Elinchrom" lighting but there are other lights available and more will be added over time.  There is a variety of different modifiers for the lights and again more will be added.  With regard to backdrops, there are a number of vinyl and fabric backdrops available.  There is a paper backdrop system using various "Colorama" rolls with again more being added.  If a specific colour is needed then this can be arranged before the shoot, given enough time, but if it is not already held or wanted, then I will need to charge for this at cost.  

The studio has large bi-fold doors down one side so natural light is plentiful.  It is kept warm during the cooler months and a portable air conditioner is available in the warmer ones. 

I will be around to assist but I am sensitive to not interfering when a shoot is taking place. The studio has free Wi-Fi and a makeup artist can be arranged at additional cost. 

Studio hire rates are £25 per hour for the first two hours (which is also the minimum booking).  Thereafter the rate will be £20 per hour.  In addition to hiring out the studio for 1 to 1 shoots, the intention is to run occasional group shoots and model days which I will advertise on here.  I would ask that when booking the studio, payment is made in full at that time, a reservation will not be made otherwise.  If a cancellation is made within 72 hours of the proposed shoot time then payment will be retained.  If I cancel for any reason then obviously any amounts paid for the hire will be fully refunded.

Group Shoot

A group shoot has been arranged for 31st January 2025 with Georgia_mae1 on the theme of "Valentines day".  It will be from 6-9pm as usual and at a cost of just £40 per person.  An event listing has been posted and only one space remains available. 

Studio Days

On 18th January 2025 Alyssa Taylor will be back in the studio and is available for a 2 hour 121 slot from 2:15pm at a cost of £120.  An event listing has been made.

On 1st February 2025 a studio day has been arranged with Kelsey19...  An event listing has been made for 4 x 2 hour 121 slots.  Rate depends on level of shoot but starts at £120.  (Two slots have been booked).  

On 2nd February 2025 a studio day has been arranged with Retro Rob...  4 x 2 hour 121 slots  (Fully booked).  

On 23rd February 2025 a studio day has been arranged with AJ the model... An event listing has been made for 4 x 2 hour 121 slots at £150 (two slots have been booked).  

On 1st March 2025 a studio day has been arranged with Kate Star... 4 x 2 hour 121 slots... details to follow shortly.

On 8th March 2025 a studio day has been arranged with Miss Diamond Sparkle...An event listing has been made for 4 x 2 hour 121 slots at £150.

On 18th March 2025 there is a studio day with Ballerina Erica Mulkern.  4 x 2 hour 121 slots.  (Fully booked).

On 22nd March 2025 there is a studio day with Moonchild777.  4 x 2 hour 121 slots... details to follow shortly.   

On 5th April 2025 I have a personal shoot with Maria91 after which she will be available for a 121 from 1:30 to 3:30 at a cost of £100.
