Redtree Studio

Pope was one of our models for a group shoot organised for a local photographic society. He was terrific throughout the evening and worked really hard with everyone in the group that had 13 photographers attending. They all gave great feedback and got some great images in our high-key / low-key sets used on the night. We hope to work with him again and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Andrew modelled for Leicester Forest Photographic Society at our November 2023 Studio Evening. Andrew has modelled for us twice before. Communication was great. Andrew brought a good selection of outfits (casual, fashion and fitness) as requested, was great to work with and totally professional. It was a good evening and the photographers all got good pictures. I would definitely book Andrew again and not hesitate to recommend Andrew to any other photographer/studio.

Debography

I shot with Andy for the first time on Monday. It was a group shoot but I was using a tethered camera and this is not always easy to use. Andy was very accommodating and waited for the camera to get ready as there was a delay and it was difficult to see when he had started to pose. He was very patient and repeated a pose if needed.

Overall a very professional model and would recommend working with him.

My first shoot with Andy as part of a group shoot. Andy was very professional but also fun, very easy to work with, and although not needing it he accepted direction and nailed the pose every time.

It was a real pleasure to shoot with Andy, and I have so many stunning images I don't know which to process first. Thanks Andy, very highly recommended.

Sensual Passions

From the moment I started communicating with Popefitness, I felt at ease and liked the fact that he was willing to try something that he hadn't before.

He followed the brief and did his homework that I gave him on a zombie walk tutorial prior to our shoot.

He turned up on time and was very pleasant and professional. I loved the fact that he trusted me to carry out my vision how I saw fit.

He was polite and courteous and took direction really well during the shoot.

He photographs really well and can get into character easily. Also a natural in acting!

I really look forward until the time we can work together again :)

I applied to this Andrew's casting call last weekend and we went to Angel area in London.

Communication before the shoot was absolutely perfect and Andrew was really punctual, despise the train strike. He came with the perfect outfit for the shoot and we walked around the street area waiting for...rain stops. What a weather!. We couldn't find a proper roof so we managed to make some pictures under the rain.

We didn't take too many images but they were very good ones (in my opinion).

Andrew is an excellent model, he knows how to pose and also he is a very kind and friendly person. It was a very pleasant shoot, even the weather was a pity.

Anyway, I hope we can do a shoot again next time Andrew come to London.

Model highly recommend.

Models in the Landscape

This week Andy worked with our little club for the third time and it is fair to say that images gained will be completely different to those gained in the past thus speaking of versatility and willingness to try new things.

Andy has 'fans' amongst club members that were unable to attend and I am sure that I will be berated for his booking at such a time.

Predominantly shooting in a woodland setting this time Andy worked with the sub-groups easily and fluidly taking direction where given.

The evening culminated in some indoor studio work where he was also accommodating in terms of requests to have a few shots with one of our other models.

I answered a casting call to work with Popesfitness on rebuilding his portfolio once lockdown restrictions were lifted. We chatted in advance to discuss the various genres and had good communication. He arrived on time and had a selection of outfits to use. He was very polite and friendly and worked well to achieve the desired looks. I am glad to say we both felt we achieved some awesome images and would highly recommend him. I hope we get the opportunity to work together again in the future

He was up for a variety of looks from fashion, gelled to a creative portrait which I am in love with the images from. I would love to work with Pope again as there’s so many styles he can pull off. He’s friendly and relaxed ahd very easy to get along with.

Andrew's second shoot with our little camera club - this time a location shoot at Digbeth's 'Custard Factory'

His professional approach to work is balanced perfectly by his easy-going and willing attitude to interact with club members is why our attendees were absolutely delighted by my choice.

Andrew can easily take direction where offered or adopt appropriate poses when working with less verbal photographers.

Pope (Andrew) and I had extensive pre-shoot comms. and he arrived on time with the agreed outfits. We hit it off straight away as Andrew is very friendly easy-going guy. We decided on a few sets in the studio before doing some planned location sets.

He soon warmed into the first set and we produced a host of great images, he poses naturally and takes direction very well and has an eye for detail. He understands about lighting and photo angles which is a bonus as we could discuss ideas. The time passed quickly and we wanted to shoot several shots and lighting styles, so we agreed to extend the shoot at the end. He is very flexible and an excellent subject for a fitness set with great skin tone and muscle definition.

He was also a great pirate in the cosplay set.

Sadly the location set was cut short by a mishap, but not before we had captured some great images. I hope he will come back for the river set another time.

I really enjoyed working with him, I have no hesitation in recommending him and I am pretty sure we will work together again.

Dee Photography

Just had a great shoot with Andy, great guy with a great physique, did a duo shoot with Jackie R and did some solo shots too. Achieved fabulous results. Got a good look about him and worked hard in some of the crazy poses I asked for. Good all round guy and hope to get the chance to work with him again. Highly recommended from me!

After months of chatting to Popes we finally got to shoot together on Saturday at Fine and DanDee.Pre comms were excellent leading up to our shoot going over any questions he had and sending images through that would help us give us some ideas.

After a quick chat we got down to it,first with Dee for a couple of hours. In them 2 hours we did solo and duo shots which I`m really pleased with. Popes is a lovely guy who`s really easy to get along with and puts in a hundred per cent effort into every pose

Highly recommend Popes to any photographer or model,you wont be disappointed.

Andy is a great male model and generally awesome fitness guru. Tremendous physique... He is a really lovely guy and a pleasure to work with. He arrived bang on time and was well prepared. This is my second time shooting with him and I will definitely be inviting him back - thanks Andy, great job!
