Terry Walters

I am married, live in Swindon, and have been an active camera club photographer for many years, involved in both running a club and helping encourage the enjoyment of photography by coaching others.  Over the years I have enjoyed success with my portraits in competitions around the world, gaining EFIAP, EPSA and BPE2 accreditation. 

Although I have never specialised in any particular genre, I do enjoy portraiture.  I moved to street photography a number of years ago, but now have returned to more structured studio and location portraiture. 

If you choose to work with me then the first rule is to relax and have fun, because if either of us are uncomfortable or tense then the best images simply do not appear.  You will find me very easy to work with and I welcome and encourage feedback from the model, making it a collaborate effort to extract the emotion of a moment in a picture.

I prefer to have either another photographer or a chaperone present as long as they don't interfere with the rapport we establish.  You are welcome to a copy of any of the images that I have finalised, and I may ask you to sign a model release so that I can use the images wherever I chose, including international competitions.
