I attended Phlash Worx studio this Saturday for the lighting day course. Had a really fantastic day, and I am pleased to say I learned loads from them. Trevor is a fantastic photographer himself, working alongside his partner Steph who is a talented MUA. I would highly recommend these guys, and their studio, and I hope to return in the near future. thanks again guys!

Just 4 Fun Leisurewear

Went to Phlaxworks shoot light & retouch workshop yesterday. Trevor and Steph were great as was their very patient model Vicky who had to put up with us all day long!. Trevor went through several different lighting set ups, then made us recreate them, I learnt so much from this and would highly recomend it to anyone who wants to learn about studio lighting. I shall defintiely be be going back there again in the near future to shoot and would highty recomend this course and Trevor who is also an amazing photgrapher

I'm actually going to add references for two visits in one. I've been thinking about trying studio photography for a while, but didn't know where to start. I then noticed this friendly looking studio had opened near me, and were offering a workshop.

I attended the workshop back in December to learn the basics, and then signed up for a model day this January.

Steph and Trevor are always so friendly, and willing to help where needed, or stay out of the way if appropriate. Although I would highly recommend the workshop, don't feel it's required, Trevor is always happy to offer advice or pointers and a complete beginner would be able to get going very quickly on a model day.

I'll definitely be back again soon.

I had a great day with Steph and Trevor at my recent sell out studio day! Comms all along the weeks leading up to the day were perfect, nothing was missed- Steph is a very efficient lady and kept calm when I was panicking! ;)

On the day I was greeted by two very lovely and smiley people! I felt instantly at home and very welcome. It wasn't long before we were chatting away and laughing! Such great people.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

The studio was clean, warmed up quickly despite the snowy coldness! The music was awesome and Steph did my eye make-up beautifully.

I had a great time shooting at Phlash Worx today. Trev and Steph were both incredibly welcoming, helpful and fun to be with. The studio itself is a great space to work in, with everything I needed right there. As a relative novice with studio lighting it was great to get Trev's expert help in getting things set up just right.

I left after two hours with a load of great shots and a great big grin!

I attended a lighting workshop and enjoyed the experience there immensely. A worm welcome from Steph and Trevor set the day off and Trev's teaching style was very detailed and informative throughout. Not only were the lighting setups used explained in great detail we then had the task of replicating the setups ourselves from scratch which gave all attendees the hands on experience of lighting ,metering and model posing. Vicky the model for day was great to work with and very patient, and the make up from Steph was of an extremely high standard. Thanks to all involved for great day.

Fabulous day and so much learning at todays Light, Shoot and Retouch workshop. After a warm welcome from both Steph and Trevor we started by talking through our experience and what we wanted to get out of the day. Trevor's style was fabulous and a genuine nice guy who did his utmost to ensure everyone got the maximum out the day.

A mix of theory and practice we covered equipment, how light works, camera settings, lighting configurations, model direction and so much more. Using a great model (thanks Vicki) I moved to a position of confidence very quickly and with Trevor's encouragement was soon finding my way around the studio.

There definitely was no such thing as a silly questions with both Steph answering questions as a highly competent MUA and Trevor answering all things photography. The time whizzed past and i felt the day represented excellent value for money.

Thanks guys ... sure I'll be back at some point.

Had an awesome and successful studio day at Phlash Worx. Pre - communications was impeccable, Steph/Trev was brilliant hosts and was always on hand to assist if needed. The studio itself was fully equipped, had great facilities and various lighting and props. I was also supplied with food, an epic choice of music and endless amounts of tea, Could not ask for more. Really enjoyable day and have already made plans to come back in December. Thank you:). Highly recommended!!!!!

I had a brilliant shoot at Phlash Worx. Steph and Trev were really friendly and helpful when I arrived. Trev quickly got the lights how I wanted them and helped out tweaking them before waiting in the wings for when I would next call on him.

They had a great range of kit (Especially light modifiers) there - certainly everything that I wanted.

Even after the end of the booked slot their obvious enthusiasm for photography stood out as we ended up chatting for quick some time afterwards.

Very highly recommended, I shall be there again soon.

Phlash Worx has everything a studio could ever want: beautiful interior, clean and tidy, excellent facilities, including the amazing lighting set up, and most importantly the vast array of food and beverages!

I wish I could use this studio everyday. BLISS!

10/10, would definitely not hesitate to use them again!

This was my third shoot here which tells you all you need to know! This is a great studio to work in - warm & comfortable and Trev gave me all the assistance I needed. The studio has plenty of parking, is close to the railway station so it's easy to get to. I will be back :)

Shot at PhlashWorx for the first time this week. It is a great studio, all the mod cons, a make-up area to die for!

Nothing is too much trouble for Trev or Steph (who btw makes an amazing cuppa). They are friendly, professional and really helpful, so easy to get along with. I felt instantly comfortable!

I would not hesitate at recommending them and their space....

....What are you waiting for? Book them!

My second shoot at Phlash Worx and it was just as successful as the first - Steph & Trevor are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. I have my third shoot here booked already and I am sure I will return many more times.

Had my 2nd shoot at Phlash Worx yesterday - another successful shoot all helped by the great studio and the generosity of Trev and Steph. The studio is well appointed and equipped and nothing is too much trouble to make sure you get the best shots. My model for the day was new and told me how comfortable and welcome she felt there and has plans of her own to shoot there again.

I would HIGHLY recommended the studio to all togs, amateur and professional - and I will definitely be back for the 3rd, 4th and 5th shoot......

Just want to add a reference for the owners and the studio, I popped in to check the studio out to see if I could use it for car and motor bike shoots and yep its brilliant and i will be using it for those style of shoots, what's even better than the studio is Trevor resident tog and Steph MUA two lovely people, who made me feel right at home. Having chatted to them or should i say bored them to death it became obvious they both will be a massive help to anyone renting the studio. With that in mind I highly recommend them to both togs and models and of course the studio its great to.

Had my first shoot at this studio and I couldn't be more pleased over how it worked out. Steph & Trevor were great hosts and provided all the assistance I needed. All aspects of the booking were professionally handled and there was more lighting available than I knew what to do with.

A lovely studio to work in and ideal for what I do - many thanks to you both and I look forward to seeing you again.

Top day! at a very trendy studio Phlash worx ltd… Stephanie Branch & Trevor Davies …. U guys are a great team n a delight to work with..was a good laugh too..

Exceptional pre-shoot communications, highly professional and OMG PUNCTUAL! Not only were you all set up, ready to go..but were very welcoming, patient, thorough and caring ..U guys didn’t waste a minute of our time and as promised wrapped up on the dot…. Awesome!!!!

Booked into Phlash Worx for a 2 hour shoot today - and was not disappointed. The owners are on hand to make sure everything you need is ready and their range of set up is impressive and will only get better as they grow. This NEW studio is well appointed, easy to find with adequate parking. My model found it without any problems and was also impressed with the set up and the friendliness of the owners. Facilities first class and I will definitely be shooting there again soon - I would highly recommend this studio to all photographers, professional and amateur for all your shooting needs.
