I used Phlash Worx for the first time the other month, the studio is fantastic, clean and spacious, so much effort has been put into it and it certainly shows… . The changing room is also spacious and nicely set.

Trevor the studio owner is an absolute gent. (Stephanie is such a wonderful host).

So friendly and welcoming and always on hand to help.. he is also superb with setting up all different types of studio lighting. The pre shoot comms were good, he was already set up and ready to go when I got to the studio. He supplied a brilliant MUA (Stephanie Branch). The shoot was great, speedy without being rushed, and I was able to see the images throughout. I really enjoyed my time there and can’t wait to have a full day with them soon!

Had a lovely shoot at the Phlash Works studio last night, it was set out lovely and all the lights and equipment was looked after well. The people at the studio were very acomadating and showed you where everything was. They were helpful and kind throughout ensuring that it was warm enough at all times, and offered tea and coffee on arrival. They had some lovely books and magazines to help with poses and lighting ideas and these were accessible at all times. The studio had a range of posing blocks and chairs to use throughout. Infinity curve was great and fun to work with and had just been freshly painted so was clean and mark free. All in all a very lovely studio set out perfectly and with relaxed people who are willing to help throughout. I would highly recommend this studio. I hope to be back there some time soon!

I participated on one of their Studio Workshop days and had a wonderful time! I've not been in many studios, but this one was superb - with large open, clean, tidy spaces and all the equipment you could ever need (well, I'd ever need anyway).

The workshop was from 10am until 5pm, and although the maximum number of participants is typically six, today there was just me and two others - which was a lot more fun, and allowed co-owner Trev to tailor the workshop to just us.

We spent the first hour or so getting to know each other and Trev went over some basic principles about lighting and model photography so that we had a good theoretical grounding before we got started. This allowed co-owner Steph, who is an accomplished MUA, to get our model Heather May Corvid ready! A note on this; if you're thinking about saving some cash by letting your models do their own makeup and styling - don't, it's SO worth the extra money! Steph did a fantastic job with Heather, who looked absolutely superb and this shone through in the photos we all ended up with!

Trev's enthusiasm for the subject matter was infectious! He took us through all the basic setups, showing us how to light for Butterfly, Loop, Rembrandt, HighKey, Backlighting and more - first showing us how to metre for light, positioning etc... and then getting us to do it ourselves. We all got plenty of time shooting with Heather after each setup, which not only resulted in some awesome shots, but is also a lasting reminder of the different results you can create with these lighting setups.

If you're new to studio photography like I am, and perhaps a bit daunted by it all - I highly recommend giving this workshop a go! I'll definitely be returning to Phlash Worx in the future!

I worked as the model for one of Phlash Worx's recent workshops. I was well taken care of throughout; Steph picked me up from the station and as soon as we arrived I was provided a constant supply of tea and coffee, a heater when the room got a little too cold, lunch, biscuits, the lot! Makeup done by Stephanie Branch was faultless - we carried out two separate looks: one subtle, using browns (people usually never think to use browns on a pale redhead but they really work!) and one more dramatic using brighter colours and dark blacks. Steph also took her time prepping my skin and mixing the foundation to an exact match, which really showed in the images!

Trevor was a delight to work with. He talked me through the day beforehand and checked up on me throughout the day, and got some cracking images in the process. Trevor clearly knows exactly what he's talking about and is a true professional, and it was obvious to everyone that photographers taking his workshop were very impressed and inspired by his guidance.

The studio space is really impressive, second to none, with the largest infinity cove in Warwickshire :) when it came to lighting Trevor had all the answers and all the gear. I really recommend Phlash Worx to models and photographers alike. Had a wonderful time and hope to work with Trev and Steph again!

Had a very productive shoot at the all new Phlash Worx Photography Studio yesterday with the lovely Rosa Brighid. What a wonderful space and the infinity curve is a great space to work in. If you haven't visited the new studio yet then you simply must..... Looking forward to using that space again.

What a fantastic space! Managed by lovely professional people. Terev and Steph were brilliant hosts for me while I was there. I really enjoyed working here and it had every peice of photographic equipment you could ever need. A massive white curve -immaculate, warm & welcoming with a great dressing room area. The rates are cheap for what you get. Really good value for money. Can't wait to go back!

I shot Mischkah Scott on a studio day at the new studio. Very easy to get to from M40 and to park. I found the studio welcoming and efficient whilst Steph and Trevor remained unobtrusive during my shoot.

I had my first shoot at the new studio today and was very pleased with it. A similar style and atmosphere as before but with more space.

Steph and Trevor are great to work with. Helpful without being intrusive. I always enjoy my shoots here.

They also attract some excellent models: today it was Mischkah Scott.

Always happy to help, has plenty of tea and biscuits as well. Very easy to find and the space has plenty of modifiers easy to set up and manoeuvre around. I'll be back again within the coming months for some more concept work without a doubt. Thank you all for today!

I shot for the first time today at Phlashworx's new home - I really liked the old studio but I love the new one even more! More space and lots of improvements have been made by Steph & Trev - this is a studio that is going from strength to strength and I look forward to working here again in the coming weeks.

Attended Introduction to Studio Lighting Workshop at Phlash Worx on Saturday 26th September.

Very enjoyable day with first class tuition and guidance from Trevor.

The Workshop covered theory but also gave you much opportunity to get direct hands on experience with positioning and adjusting studio lighting to achieve a number of different set ups, with lots of opportunity for shooting.

Steph provided valid insight into the benefits of using a professional make up artist and thanks to our first rate model for the day Molly Dutton who must have got tired of been told “ Forehead down – lower eye lid raised.!!”

Highly Recommended if you want to lean Studio Lighting and get direct hands on experience with the lights and set ups.

Great day at Phlash Worx studio lighting workshop on Saturday. A thoroughly enjoyable, and educating course. Big thanks to Trevor for 3 simple, one-light setups, advice, tips and for reminding us of, the often forgotten, Rule of Thirds. Thanks to Stef who showed the benefits of using a pro make-up artist, and finally thanks to our ever patient model Molly Dutton. Highly recommend this course.

I've left a couple of references for Phlash Worx before, but I felt I should leave another since I was their first customer in their new larger premises. The new enormous infinity cove is fantastic, and there is also a great space with a variety of paper backdrops. The new changing space is fantastic (or so I'm told - I didn't change).

Trevor and Steph are as accommodating and helpful as they always were.

Back again at Phlash Worx for another fashion shoot. Trevor and Steph were brilliant as always, Steph doing some awesome make up. Got some fantastic images , cant keep away we are back again in a couple of weeks time for another shoot. We can not recomend them highly enough :)

Had a fabulous photo shoot at Phlash Worx today with the brilliant photographer Trevor and fantastic make-up artist Steph; their skills, expertise and creative talent produced amazing images, I can't wait to see the rest. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the photo shoot. Trevor and Steph are professional and easy to get on with.

The studio is very welcoming (I loved the decor ) and I felt comfortable and relaxed. I found the technical equipment fascinating and wow, very effective. I would definitely recommend Phlash Worx studio ☺☺☺

Another great shoot at Phlash Worx. This time I took my young children, and Steph & Trevor were very accommodating. As well as the usual fantastic technical help and support (and equipment), they were great with my girls, and Steph even let my young daughters cover her in feathers! Steph also offered to take a few shots so we could have some family shots.
