Used Colin's studio for the 1st time today, shooting the lovely Abigail Clarke. Colin has a great set-up there, very central Chester, right near the station. Lots of lighting and a great hi-key set-up. He's a great guy, I can see why the studio is so popular. :-)

Colin is a fantastic guy, very helpful. Studio was great, lighting and backdrops a plenty.

Loved my 4 hours there and am looking forward to some return trips this year with other local models.

Would recommend the studio to beginners and professionals.

I had a fantastic studio day at Pathway Studio. It's a well equipped studio to work from with a separate model changing room with enough room for my huge exploding suitcase! Colin is a friendly and helpful studio owner and all of the photographers I worked with were fantastic! I had a great time at Pathway and I hope I can visit again soon! :)

I worked at Pathway studio with Sarah-Louise as the model and Dani as the mua at a tfp studio shoot I organised . What can I say the whole shoot was exceptional.

This was the first time I had worked at Pathway. The choice of venue being because it was more convenient for the model and the mua. However, it also worked out easy for me as Colin's directions were excellent and made the place so easy to find, and to book. Colin was fantastic in the pre shoot communications and happy to discuss lighting and studio layout options. On arrival Colin helped set the studio for the first images, and was extremely helpful in sorting out one or two little technical difficulties.

Like the previous references, I found Colin very easy to get along with and very helpful. Going beyond the call of duty in getting drinks and ice on a very hot day, and even giving me a lift to the train station.

I have no problems in highly recommending Colin and Pathway, and I will definitely be back again.

I booked a few months back to work at Pathways for a shoot with Kacie James. It was the first time I'd worked from the studio and only my third studio shoot so far.

Colin was extremely helpful throughout, from the booking process, helped with set up of the first set and advised ideas on how to set up later ideas and was nearby should I have any questions (which I did!) He even went beyond the call of duty and kindly gave me a lift to the train station at the end of the day.

Pathways is a light, good sized studio (compared with other studios I've worked from) and is very well equipped with more than I could ever think of needing available and an extensive range of props and furnishings to work with, which, as far as I know, at the rates asked for is almost unbeatable.

I do hope to be able to book the studio again soon for a project I'm working on with a friend and see myself hiring this studio again and again in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot with Colin, he's brill! I worked ata group shoot and met him breifly but this time did a one on one and i enjoyed myself very much. Would recommend this guy without a doubt:)xxx

Had my first shoot at Pathway Studios the other day and really enjoyed it. It was a good size studio with all the lights and probs we could need. It was kept warm for me,with lots of heaters :) I hope I get to work at Colin's studio again,and recommend it to others :)

I have been at a multiple of shoots (and more in the near future) booked at pathway studios and attended the regular networking events there.

I couldn't reccomend pathways highly enough as the studio is equipped fully for photographers, a bathroom and (always very warm!) dressing room for us models.

Colin is a legend, and always very accommodating.

If your looking for a studio to hire in the chester area, book pathways!

Finally got to meet Colin and shoot at Pathways. Colin was really friendly and helpful, making sure I knew where everything was and how it all worked and being on hand for guidance and assistance when needed. The studio is a really nice place to shoot, plenty of lights, modifiers, reflectors and props to keep the imagination ticking over. Well worth a visit.

Shot with Portia at Pathway Studios this week - what a great place to shoot. The studio is like a physical expression of Colin's long photographic experience - there are props, lights, backgrounds galore. Colin is very open and approachable. He made sure everything was working and available for the lighting sets I needed - and thanks Colin for helping out operating the fog machine! Highly recommend Pathway Studios.

Been to Pathways a few times for networking group shoots and am always pleased with the outcome of the time spent there. The studio is well equipped with all lighting and modifiers required for any indoor shooting ideas. Colin is very friendly and offers assistance as and when required. Will be visiting Pathways again in the near future - thanks Colin for the studio time and help.

I have regularly booked Pathways for the past couple of years now. I always recommend my clients to shoot there as it is a fully equipped studio with great facilities for FANTASTIC value. Colin (the owner) is a very professional, fun, friendly and genuine individual who is basically everyone's friend. He is very approachable and always offers a helping hand if you have any specific requirements or if you require assistance with setting up the studio equipment. I am honoured to call Colin my friend. A true credit to the industry! Highly recommended!

PS. I always look forward to attending the regular events hosted at Pathways in particular the monthly networking day which is just bloody awesome. Pathways is like a small community of local creatives (everyone is welcome!)- if you've never been to one of the networking events, you should definitely go to one!! :-D :-D

Pathways is always my 'go to' studio for anything from Family Portraits to Model Portfolio shoots... Colin is extremely helpful, I've studied in a studio but when I first went to Pathway's I'd been shooting location only for a few years and Colin was great at helping me out, getting back into the studio.

I will always use Pathways whenever possible, it's a great location (Right in the heart of Chester near Primark & McDonald's!) Easily accessible from train, bus or car and the rates are affordable. The studio also offers a changing room, make up area, bathroom and spacious studio area with great furniture and props.

I would definitely recommend Colin & his studio to anyone. Particularly people wanting clean/simple backdrops but as Colin demonstrates in his photos on this page you can also easily transform the studio with the use of props!

You can't go wrong with Pathways, and I am very grateful that Colin allows me to use his studio!

I have shot at Pathways many times from the group shoots I have progressed to hiring it for individual projects. Colin is always helpful and on one occasion opened up the studio for me with 20 mins notice as I sped towards Chester with 2 models in the car due to being let down by somebody. A lovely working space that is big enough for most things but no so big it intimidates people new to studio work. All in all highly recommended bit please note it is on the first floor so may mot be accessible by everybody.

I attended the studio a few months ago to help out with lighting tests... I got some lovely images and the space is perfect size to feel comfortable, There were lots of backdrop options and props. I was lucky enough to have 2 photographers shooting me on the day plus met another model who was really lovely :) Can not wait to shoot there again!!

I have been shooting regularly at Pathways for over two years. The studio is well equipped, reasonably priced and has the most genial host in Colin (the owner) who can put you in touch with several excellent models who use the studio too. Highly recommended.
