References for Pathway Studios

Booked a half day session at Pathways, Colin was on time, friendly and once I was setup, left me to it. Wouldn't hesitate to shoot there again.

Given our weather without places like Pathways there would be very little photography going on so it deserves all the credit it gets.

It is, to coin a phrase, small but perfectly formed, being big enough for model photography but you would struggle to get a car in there! (ignoring the fact it is up a flight of stairs) However at the moment Colin has the use of "studio B" an adjacent workshop with room for a truck if required!

Colin the owner is on hand to help if required but disappears if you don't need him, don't be fooled by the amiable hippy appearance, he is a formidable talent in his own right both as a photographer and stand in model!

Due to its size it is easy to keep warm so no models with goosebumps, there are tea and coffee making facilities aka a kettle, separate model changing facilities, and a toilet (very important at my age) all in all a great little studio at a very reasonable price but do ring for directions it can be a pig to find the first time even with sat nav.

The owner Colin made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the start & is an awesome host!

The studio has a great atmosphere & has everything you need!

I had my first studio day at Pathways Studio at the start of March and had an AMAZING day! Colin the studio owner is lovely and organised it well and we sold out which was great! The studio itself is a great space with many opportunities and plenty of facilities and well heated which is always good. The models changing room is big and has everything you need. Overall I had a fantastic studio day there and would jump at the chance to work there again and to hold another studio day! 200% recommended! Hope to be back soon!

Had a super fantastic time during my stay in Chester at Pathways studio with Colin. I hosted a 2 day studio weekend that sold out rather quickly! - Colin and the studio are a great and fun place to shoot. Plenty of space to get a variety of sets / different shots in. Colin was on hand throughout to help with set ups - tea/coffee and just generally keeping everyone happy! I had such a fantastic time that I will be back in just a few weeks and even back again after then! I can't wait. Highly recommended studio.

I've been to a few shoots at Pathways, as well as a 1-2-1 with Colin himself. Brill studio, always made to feel so welcome and very well looked after and always get great images there. My clown images from Colin are some of my fave pictures ive done. Highly recommend Colin, and the studio too as it is a great space to work in

Have been to pathways numerous times now and will continue to do so. Colin is an excellent host always with drinks an nibbles. He's friendly and looks out for the models in his studio. Ive done a couple of art nights for him and he just makes it so much fun. Always at ease there, see you again soon colin, will have your cam out soon enuf :) xxx

As always Colin likes to impress and I was impressed with the calm sweet natured man he is always offering help and is always there if there's a problem loved having a shoot with all the photographers here at pathways and I always aim to please would recommend pathways networking days for anyone who is trying to start from either scratch or just a confidence boost like me !!! Can't wait to shoot one to one with Colin again !!!! xx

I had a studio day at Pathways on Sunday, I must say that I had a great time. The studio is well equipped, with lots of space and different sets. Colin was a lovely host, I was made to feel welcome from the start and he kept my coffee cup filled all throughout the day! ;)

I would happily use the studio again, comes highly recommended!

Fab Studio and Colin the studio owner can do no wrong! An absolutely lovely treasure of a man, looks after you ....goes out of his way to help with anything. A great place, well organised and highly recommended :)

Idiosyncratic Images

I went to studio day shoot at Pathways and it was brilliant. It was my first ever shoot and Colin (owner) and the model I worked with were amazing. Colin made me a nice cuppa and really helped me out during the shoot, especially with the lights (as I had no experience with them). I would 100% recommend using this studio as the facilities are great, the owner is really nice and there is help if you need it!
