Absolutely lovely to speak to and work with, great communication in the run up, ideas and suggestions aplenty on the day and stupidly quick, amazingly well done edits. Really friendly and great taste in music too.

Would worth him again any time and recommend him to all :D

I was lucky enough to have another shoot with Martin and as before it was amazing! He is a lovely guy and so easy to work with, the images are first class and he makes a awesome cup of tea. I can't wait to work with him again :)

Another last minute shoot with Martin happened today!! I'm so glad he chose to invite me along :) There is always such fun and giggles when we shoot - Martin provides excellent company where I feel so relaxed the day just flows by really nicely and the great images just keep happening! Lots of little props and gear about the place so can accessorise nicely along with your own stuff. Kept me overly well fed and watered today but he knows by now that I am a bin! Great at giving direction and suggestions for poses and expressions - Love working with Martin! Always get amazing images and I'm very grateful that you enjoy working with me enough to want me back again and again! Look forward to working with you next time already :)

I finally got to shoot with Martin last week. Every single part of the experience was great. He is one of the nicest photographers I have ever worked with. An absolute gentleman, I felt completely comfortable with him, he's funny, extremely enthusiastic, encouraging, humble, and most of all really passionate about the art of what he does. Oh and not to mention so respectful- like turning away if changing etc even if art nude is in our sets. lol!!!! I am going back to shoot again, it was so great.

WoW! WoW! I had the pleasure of shooting with Martin this weekend and all I can say is WOW! This had to be one of the best shoots of my modelling career so far and the shots; which Martin has sent some through already, are outstanding. This guy is amazing at what he does :)

We had been organising the shoot for a few months and it was an exciting wait for me as ever since I had joined Purpleport I had admired his work. So when he asked me to shoot I was so excited.

His pre shoot communications were great and he even found all the train times for me as I was coming a fair way. But the journey was sooo worth it !

Martin made sure I was ok throughout the whole shoot, from turning away when I was getting into a pose until my parts were covered to providing plenty of tea and snacks throughout the day. He allowed me to see the images on the back of the camera after every set and was very clear that if I didn't like something I must tell him. He is one of the most respectful photographers I have ever worked with.

Martin is extremely passionate about his work and even though he says he is an ametuer, his level of professionalism blew me away. Highly highly reccommended

If you get a chance to shoot with Martin do not turn it down. He is amazing and I can't wait to shoot again if I get the chance.

Last week I shot with the wonderful Martin, with plenty of in depth pre-comms & cool ideas in place!

He is such a professional and friendly person who really looks after the model, providing yummy lunch, playing awesome tunes and has amazing ideas using his great collection of props - his lighting skills are perfect, creating stunning effects with his wealth of techniques, whilst giving plenty of feedback & direction, and using the best angles!

Martin is a fantastic photographer who has so much experience in creating amazing images & is such a lovely & enthusiastic guy who I love working with - when can we do it again??

After my fantastic shoot with Martin last year I couldn't wait to come back and create more stunning images. I am very glad I ended up in his area again and got another chance to shoot with this amazing photographer. He really doesn't know how good he is! The results are more than I could ever of wished for! Most highly recommended if your ever find yourself heading to Martins area!

my reference is going to echo the other great references!i had the pleasure of working with Orson Carter a couple of weekends ago and he was welcoming made me feel comfortable was friendly and was enthusiastic,he had plenty of ideas but listened to any i may have, gave good direction improving my pose to get the best result he listened to me about my specific insecurities and worked around them asking all the time if i was happy with the themes we were working on and if i was happy with the images on the back of the camera so far...which i was!i was particularly keen to try some figure work but was quite self conscious Orson didn't make a deal of of this and posed me in ways i was happy and comfortable with...it was an enjoyable shoot with a professional friendly photographer..pre-shoot communications were also very good...i received edited images faster than i expected and was very pleased with the final images Orson again added to each email if i wasn't happy with any of the images to let him know...i would highly recommend Orson Carter to anyone

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Orson for the second time on my tour of Somerset. What can I say that has not already been said. Orson is just brilliant!!! Pre-communications was impeccable, he remained professional at all times, very respectful, accommodating, made sure I was comfortable at all times and generally a very nice person to be around. He also made sure I was fed and watered at all times and makes awesome cups of tea.

Whilst shooting Orson had great ideas, was imaginative, made sure the lighting was spot on and remained enthusiastic and focused through out. From what I have seen the results are awesome. Could not possibly ask for anymore from a shoot. Thank you so much.

We already have another shoot booked which I am really looking forward too. If you get a chance to work with Orson I would take up the opportunity. Highly Recommended.

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Orson this weekend and had a brilliant time. Ive already had loads of images back and i love them all. Orson is a fab photographer and has got tremendous skill, hes a lovely man and so easy to get along with, offering me direction and giving me loads of ideas for poses, he is very respectful even turning away until my areas where covered lol. The whole shoot just flowed and went by in a shot. He is also very considerate of the model, offering me brews and brought a selection of butties and snacks for me, checking I was ok at all time. He has a killer sense of humor too.

I would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Had the pleasure of working with Martin yesterday for an all day movement inspired shoot. He was very friendly, accommodating and enthusiastic. Not only did he have lots of great ideas but he also welcomed my ideas making it a great collaboration.

Martin's communication prior to the shoot was excellent and he even called me to ensure that everything was in place. He kindly provided lunch and plenty of drinks for our energetic shoot. Martin is one of the nicest photographers I have come across with a great sense of humour and a warm personality. I would highly recommend him to anyone. It was one of my most enjoyable shoots and I hope we can work together again in the future.

In terms of the results, I am extremely pleased with the images I have seen so far and Martin has gone out of his way to provide me with all of my favourite shots. I greatly look forward to seeing the rest of the images.

So to summarise... if you like a good chat, you are passionate about high quality photography, you love cake and you want to make a new friend, work with Martin! :)

I had the pleasure to work with Martin recently and was amazed with the whole day! His direction is awesome and he has so many amazing ideas . I definatly recommend Martin edits are all excellent and came to me very quickly. It was my first shoot with movement and i am so pleased with the results , such a good day :) Martin even brought me food so i would'nt be hungry and made me endless cups of tea lol .

Had my second shoot with the wonderful Martin a few days ago due to us both having unexpected cancellations...what are the chances?! Martin is an absolute dream to work with he comes up with a million and one ideas - & that's just for one sequence! I love how much direction is given on shoot, I do enjoy putting my own ideas on the table but Martin has the most amazing ideas and I often just like to listen and follow him as I feel like I am learning so much. So much energy!! Haha. The edits are sent over to me so quickly and of an extremely high standard I am always excited when I receive an email :) I wouldn't hesitate to work with you again!

I love the fact that every time we shoot together we get different results.. and have to admit that Martin is surprising me every single time with awesome ideas and images.. This time, with movement involved!! :)

He was the initiator "Mona, how athletic you are in terms of jumping?" And I obviously went over excited straight away. "I think I can do it!" :) And from there, ideas were exchanged back and forwards, as usual Martin is really good with communications. And I exercised my jumping the whole week before our shoot yesterday.

Martin is a true professional. He would support you, encourage you, guide you if needed.. he also would feed you! :) It's unbelievable the amount of energy he has despite the fact that he wasn't quite well a day before..

I admire him so much, he is my hero. Words are not enough. Thank you Martin for another beautiful day!! Mona

Amazing!! Can not explain this shoot enough, I was rather excited to shoot with martin and new it would be fantastic but it excelled my expectations. WOW! just WOW! 1 of my best ever shoots. Martin is the most easy going and enjoyable people to be around. We had a full day of shooting and were spoilt for choice on options. The shots were fantastic I am truly excited to show the finished pictures that Martin was able to capture so well. Defiantly one of best photographers I have worked with he is an expert in what he does and his communication is excellent.

I had ideas I wanted to do and Martin was happy to try them all, he gives excellent direction and suggestions. He is just so cheerful to be around that keep me going for 8hours by the 8th hour I was still jumping around with the buzz I got from the shoot. I will defiantly be working again with him soon, and can not wait. I can not recommend him enough and am so thrilled for the opportunity I got :-D cheers Martin much Luv Elle ️xx

well well well! Shooting with this photographer was without a doubt one of the most successful shoots I've ever done. you're "not doing TF unless its beneficial"? (IT IS) Working with someone with such evident skill and artistic vision was like a dream come true. Orson respected, understood and collaborated brilliantly with me. I really enjoyed hearing him squealing with delight from the other end of the hall for the duration! I fully appreciated the encouraging, positive and safe environment he created. I'm astounded at such effortlessly magical results! The images we created are stunning... He was easy to work with without over-directing me, allowed regular breaks and snacks. Cant wait for next time!

I shot with Martin last week, and it was possibly the best shoot I've ever had in my modelling career!

First and foremost, Martin was incredibly kind, respectful, fun and we got on beautifully. I was kept well fed, watered, plus hugely entertained with great music and stories about Martin's music industry background. He had plenty of props, so in addition to my suitcase of stuff we had loads to play with.

Shooting with Martin was so inspirational and creatively stimulating, that even now looking at the edits I'm amazed with how much we covered! His lighting styles and techniques are well-honed and his visual aesthetic continuously evolves, making his work feel very fresh and exciting!

I am already planning on coming back to Bath next month to shoot with Martin again, and I cannot wait to continue creating more images with him. Thank you so much, Martin!
