First time working with John in F8 studios & felt privileged to be his first shoot back since lockdown. Pre communications were excellent & because of uncertainty with weather John was quick to book in a studio day rather than risking outdoors.

Friendly and welcoming on arrival & I felt comfortable straight away. Conversation flowed and we got through a variety of looks. Time seemed to fly by!

Really pleased with the images I’ve seen so far and I hope to work with you again on future shoots! :)

It was an absolute pleasure to shoot on location around the Forest-Of-Dean with John. I had an absolute blast with John and he has hands down a fountain of knowledge and I really enjoyed creating images with him.

I would highly recommend to any other models and I look forward to working together soon.

It was such a pleasure to work with John today at F/8 Studio in Gloucester. We had a really enjoyable and productive shoot and John was a delight to work with.

We went through a range of different looks from fashion to art nude and en pointe and the shots that John showed me on the back of the camera were very lovely.

I had my first shoot here and was initially slightly daunted by the space. Such a dense arrangement of possibilities with a terrific range of styles available that I barely scratched the surface. John was welcoming, interesting to talk to and very helpful throughout the shoot.

Today I had a great first shoot at Valley Road studio. There are so many cosy little corners, brik a brac and odds and ends that can be put together to make interesting and varied sets. John is a great host, and always checked in on me and the photographer to make sure that everything was how we wanted it to be. Recommended.

John, the owner is very friendly and helpful owner who has a great deal of props and lighting all of which are available for use!

He is discrete and makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive! The variety of sets is outstanding and the cost is very competitive!

I would certainly recommend the studio and look forward to working there again soon!

Oh and john makes a good cup of tea!

I say he is incredible all round. A great photographer and first of all a great person. we had a great time shooting and created some fantastic shots. Pre communications were good, 100% professional.

My first visit to the studio and I was amazed by the options of industrial machinery and other bric a brac that John has collected to furnish his studio. John was very helpful and agreed for the start time to be flexible: a great help as my intended model cancelled the day before but I was able to source another model which resulted in us arriving 30 minutes early. Nothing was too much trouble for John as he set up equipment and moved items about to create the sets I wanted to shoot. One of the most unusual studios I have worked in and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

John has a very different and unique kind of studio, lots of props and lovely natural light, a place sure to give you something different for your ports.

I had another lovely shoot at Valley Road Studio. The studio still has so much to offer in terms of spaces, light, props and levels. John is friendly, kind and considerate and we created some fabulous photos!

If you haven’t shot in this space before, it’s certainly worth it!!

Arranged a shoot with Cariad at this studio and was amazed at what it has to offer. From boudoir, to simple chaise-longue, to grungy dungeonesque to industrial manufacturing & metal working machinery. A real Aladdin's Cave of a studio. It has ample natural lighting and also has studio/continuous lighting available too. John, the owner,(who is very friendly & chatty), was on hand at all times to help, advise, assist and prepare the various sets and pieces of machinery for use. If you're looking for a studio that offers working industrial machinery this is the place - it's unique and I highly recommend it.

John picked me up from the station and was instantly friendly and put me at ease.

John is a lovely person and is interesting to talk to throughout the shoot.

Even though John is new to photography, he open to learn and take advice as well as having his own ideas.
