I attended the 40s style shoot on Saturday which was organised by LewisLloyde and was totally amazing day. The models where fabulous and professional. The lighting was excellent. I will defiantly go again.

Having attended Platts Eyot before I had a reasonable idea of what could be had. However this was a groupshoot and there was still snow on the ground so I was a little apprehensive about what we might do in three hours. I shouldn’t have let it pass through my mind : the combination of Christian, Shaun and Neil provided a great variation in lighting and backdrops including some set up’s that I would never have thought of. Not only that but we were freely able to amend the lighting between the three photographers in the group to get our own unique shots.

It was a very relaxed half day with much chat and many useful tips: I would definitely go to one of their group shoots again, not to mention of course shooting on the island: a treasure trove of unusual locations to shoot in.

I had the great pleasure of attending my first LewisLloyd Group Shoot today.

The Team had found a wonderful location, arranged the services of a top class MUA, a vintage costumier and three gorgeous and very talented models.

The shoot was highly professionally organised with great pre-shoot comms, lots of opportunity to shoot every model with multiple sets and costume changes, hot drinks and biscuits available all day for a very reasonable price indeed.

LewisLloyd had three separate sets, each with a different, modern & high quality lighting setup ready to go for when we arrived and were on hand at all times to offer advice or guidance if needed.

I can't praise the guys highly enough and really look forward to attending their next event - very highly recommended.

This was my first time shooting on the Platts Eyot Island. Great location! the studio is a mix of beautiful outdoor and high-quality fully equipped indoor set-up. The studio offers almost all kind of shooting styles. The chairs, Christian & Shaun both of them are friendly, helpful and experienced photographers. If you get a chance to shoot here you will not be disappointed.

Had a wonderful shoot at LewisLloyd (Platts Eyot Island). Totally spontaneous shoot. Christian was great and accepted my booking at zero notice. Rates great too.

The island is a wonderful agglomeration of decay, dereliction, industry and woodland. All in a quiet and secluded space. Magical!

Had a wonderful group shoot with a selection of models and classic cars organised by LewisLloyd studio and hosted by Christian. The day was relaxed but professionally run. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Special mention to fellow togs Spencer, who held my light stand after the wind toppled it, and Dave who worked alongside me on the shoots. The models we worked with, Irina N and Avant Garde, were lovely and put an immense amount of effort and artistry into their poses. Looking forward to attending another shoot organised by this studio.

What a superb host, both Chris (and Shaun) are for shooting on Platt Eyot. Great guys who just what to create and help you create to the best the location has to offer. All locations, nooks, and crannies were shown and it's a pleasure to be around like-minded individuals. Fabulous.

That was my second shoot with LewisLloyd and first time at Platts Eyot Island where the studio is located. Both Christian and Shaun are very helpful, enthusiastic and very well organised when it comes to getting shoot planned. They are fantastic hosts. There's lots help and guidance. And when it comes to the island there are endless locations, you won't get bored ever even if doing full day shoot. I highly recommend these two like minded lads. I'm looking forward to come back to the island again in the future for another shoot they organise.
