I'm not a group shoot person, but got lured onto Platts Eyot by Christian and Shaun to shoot with Gem and definitely didn't regret it. A fantastic versatile location, helpful hosts and as far away from the horror story "scrum" shoots as you can get :)

My first time "on the island", I was lucky enough to see a casting put up to shoot Gem at LewisLloyd.

Not only is their location fabulous (so many more places to try out still), but Christian & Shaun were really friendly, approachable, & eager to assist.

My only regret is not knowing I could have stayed for the evening social!

I'm happy to recommend them, & hope to shoot there again in the future.

This was my first time shooting on the Island. The event was a group shot with Gemma Huh. As always, Gem was excellent and hard working.

The Island is a wonderful location with many different locations which make ideal backdrops.

I am sure I'll be back for another shoot!

Had a shoot here last night with the fantastic Miss Diamond Sparkle, and it really is a fantastic location. There are so many great & varied locations on the island from abandoned buildings, riverside views, boats, rusty machinery, through to leafy lanes. If you are shooting in the evening would recommend bringing a torch as some areas are a little dark. Highly recommended!

Attended a group shoot at Platts Eyot today. This was my first venture outside of a studio/home for a model shoot and wow - this is a seriously versatile location. The options are almost unlimited. Absolutely loved the session (with Ecce). Really recommend. Thanks to Shaun and Christian for the opportunity.

Another excellent group shoot organised by Christian and Shaun. This was the first time I had been to Platts Eyot Island. This is a wonderful place to shoot, with water frontage, boats, old buildings and wooded areas. Loads of nooks and cranies, too many places to shoot in an afternoon

Had an amazing group shoot today with Ecce! in collaboration with the LewisLloyd Studio based on the private Island Platts Eyot on the river Thames.

The organisation of the shoot was second to none! Christian provided excellent pre-shoot communications.

Shaun accompanied and assisted the 'group shoot' creating and providing a most productive and enjoyable shoot.

I definitely want to make use of the unique outdoor location LewisLloyd Studio and the helpful, professional, friendly team - Christian & Shaun.

Had another shoot with Lewislloyd today on the island in Hampton, I have worked with them before and keep going back for all the right reasons.

great location and helpful, and they make a shoot fly by, if you want a fun and relaxed shoot then you should book with them.

Shaun is a fantastic mentor, very patient, engaging and knowledgable - he also makes a damn fine cup of tea too! Thanks for your guidance in showing us around the many hidden gems and for addressing all of our requirements…

Even though we were shown the regular haunts around the Island, new opportunities abounded around the next twist and turn! There are literally endless possibilities, and you could easily do a whole shoot in one spot alone. We even saw an open gate that Shaun said had always been locked - definitely uncharted territory; who knows where we may have ended up?

This is one fabulous location catering for those with a hankering for light, shade and interesting backdrops - you’ll definitely come away with some unique images to add to your Portfolio.

Thanks once again to Christian and Shaun for organising the event - one to remember for sure, and worthy of a return visit...

Had a really good afternoon at LewisLloyd's location of Platts Eyot. This place is full of options and is something really different that you won't find elsewhere. I can see why there are plenty of return bookings - there's so much choice of location. Shaun was a great host, making sure I got what I needed. Hoping I get to shoot there again soon.

Had a great day shooting in Christian and Shaun's workshop in Platt's Eyot. Christian and Shaun were fantastic in organising the day for us and made sure we had everything we needed for a great workshop - great models, amazing locations, lighting and even a tasty bbq lunch! Christian went all out to find a replacement model last minute. The island was a hidden gem with several derelict and abandoned spots. I'd highly recommend Christian and Shaun's workshop for anyone looking to add beautiful location shots to their portfolio.

Just returned ffrom a group shoot LewisLloyd had arranged on Platts Eyot Island. Kept in touch at all time, friend, helpful and entertaining guys. Good organisation, good model selections and entertaining. A full days session really flew by moving around good locations and ideas, creating many very good images. I will certainly attend LewisLloyds future meetings. Thank you guys.

The Ghost

Shaun and Christian have found a photographers' paradise in south west London and just for that they would get a recommendation.

When you add to that their knowledge, enthusiasm, sense of humour and the sheer effort they put in to cast a replacement model at the last minute, you have an absolute winning combination.

If you get the chance to shoot with them on Platts Eyot, take it, you won't be disappointed.

OMG Platts Eyot Island...

...is probably the best place I have ever been to shoot at. The place is huge, there are so many different sets ranging from abandoned boats, a spider web made out of rope, beautiful green wall, beautiful white doors etc. Christian and Shaun put together really do make a good team. Christian is super fun to be around and Shaun is very warm and welcoming. I am so glad I got to meet these lovely guys and their amazing island.

I had a second shoot at the weekend with Christian and Shaun at Platts Eyott. This time it was a group shoot. The pair of them are a real pleasure to be around. If you want advice it is given in the most friendly and non condescending terms. I learned a function on my camera I never knew I had. Mind you Iv'e only had it for nearly ten years now LOL. Honestly; go out of your way to book at this venue. It is outstanding in every way.
