I returned to Kempston Studio today after quite a while away..through not shooting models.

Andy, as ever, was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble, from changing the backgrounds quickly to organising the studio lighting around his Christmas set..I certainly didn't want to too go near to that as an impending disaster looked certain for me!

Plenty of props are available at this Studio, and with imagination, plenty of set builds and scenarios are possible.

Andy has a great sense of humour, and it is as much fun chatting with him as it is shooting with the models.

A well recommended studio for any photographer looking for an accessible and friendly space.

I am long overdue to formally give Andy at Kempston Studios the fantastic reference he deserves.

I have shot many times at Kempston this year and every time this great guy goes above and beyond to make your shoot comfortable, easy and effortless. He will set-up lights, move props, make tea as guided by you. I have a slight mobility issue and he is always ready to allow me to sit comfortably while he creates the sets, to my exact wishes, around me.

He has built from scratch an Aladdin's cave of props, clothing, and equipment to facilitate almost any creative whim.

A great conversationalist, I thoroughly enjoy every moment of my bookings at Kempston Studios. Thank you Andy.

Firstly, Id like to state how much how a kind person he is, Secondly, His pre-shoot comms was and are perfect, from planning to prepping. Everything was clearly presented, messages were professional, warm & friendly, Andys years of experience working with a variety of models was evident. I adore catching up with him and returning to the studio to see the creative and fabulous changes he makes to the sets! :)

Second time at Kempston, and Andy was as helpful and accomodating as before. Lots of different changes to sets and backdrops as ideas came and went. We still didn't get everything done, so I guess another visit is on the cards.🙂

The best studio by far now I am a regular and a good friend of the studio i am still totally blown away by the possibilities of the amount of options this studio has to offer and the warmth of the studio when you are there Andy the owner is now a very good friend and the studio is going from strength to strength the whole package is mind blowing the warmth homely feel no pressure welcoming friendly inviting and a pleasure to shoot in I always look forward to going to andys Andy is always on hand for advice and help if needed and moving sets nothing is to much trouble and making a great cup of tea I am running of words to describe this diamond of a studio

He also created a friendly and supportive atmosphere, giving me and the others guidance, while also allowing from creative freedom and improvisation.

This place is more highly engineered and squeezed more equipment in than the Tardis. Amazing number of sets and options for lighting this was my first time shooting here. Andy the owner was super helpful with moving and setting up sets and lighting to recreate my rough ideas but then jumped out of the way to let me get on with shooting. Another amazing Studio Weekend at the fabulous Kempston Studio!

As always pre-communication was great and the event was super easy to plan and organise. Andy was quick at responses and easy to reach when I need to get in touch with him leading up to the event.

On the first shoot day, Andy kindly picked me up from the bus station which was really kind of him. He also kindly gave lifts to the supermarket and my hotel too which was really nice.

During the weekend Andy was on hand helping with backdrops, setting up lights you name it. He’s also a fantastic host and brought out teas and coffees to me and the photographers on multiple occasions and being so lovely and helpful asking if we needed anything ect.

The studio is also equipped with plenty of set ups, backdrops, a model changing room, shower, loads of props, clothes, outfits, shoes, gloves literally everything under the sun. It’s amazing that Andy provides so much and it definitely saved space in my suitcase as I didn’t need to pack heels or too many fashion items, this way I just needed to pack latex and lingerie.

Andy is such a gem!! He’s such a wonderful person and a great photographer and studio owner I’d highly recommend him to all Models, Photographer’s, Makeup Artists and Stylist! 110% recommended!! Just class!

I returned to the superb Kempston Studios with 2 shoots at a couple of studio days within a month of each other; A duo day with Alyssa Taylor & Georgia Mae and then a solo shoot with Aurora Phoenix. And on both occasions; I came away absolutely buzzing, thanks to the great vibe that I always get whenever I come to this little gem of a studio

Great facilities, plenty of sets and props to play around with and great hospitality by studio owner Andy who is on hand to provide plenty of refreshments & beverages available, and also to give some tips and advice on how to best set up your camera for whatever shot you’re looking for.

Huge recommendation for Kempston Studios if you’re looking for a top class facility to shoot. Thank you once again to Andy for the awesome work you do for this little place. Looking forward to returning for more projects in the future.

Worked at kempston a good few times now, studio days here are such a vibe! Andy is so lovely and thoughtful! On each time I’ve been to model for other photographers he has made sure I’m hydrated and even fed (which some great lunch from a local cafe) we’ve had a good chats & I find him very funny!

The studio itself is very diverse, you can achieve a great deal there!

It’s warm , got great equipment and lighting.

Photographers who have attended have all been amazing to! It definitely attracts a great crowd!

My second studio day at Kempston and it was just as much fun as the first! Andy's comms are brilliant and all the photographers who attended were absolutely lovely. The space is warm, clean and has a wardrobe that rivals my own! Andy kept me going with endless tea and friendly conversation, and it's clear why his studio is so popular as nothing is too much trouble. He even provided lunch! I look forward to returning in 2025 and happily recommend Kempston to other creatives.

This was my first shoot at Kempston Studio, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The booking process was seamless, with clear instructions for payment, making it all very straightforward. Andy sent out the address with a calendar invite, and the large sign outside made the studio easy to find.

The studio itself is well-kept, with a variety of backdrops and scenes to choose from. For our shoot, we utilised the black paper roll, which worked perfectly for some dramatic shots, as well as the beautifully designed Christmas set, which added a festive touch to our images.

Andy was incredibly professional and friendly, always available to help adjust the sets and offer ideas when it came to incorporating certain costume elements. His input was invaluable and added to the creative flow of the shoot.

The studio hire costs are very reasonable, and the facilities are excellent. I’m already looking forward to returning in a month’s time. Highly recommended!

Another great shoot at Kempston Studio. Andy was hugely helpful as always - setting up lights, moving furniture and props and even made a cuppa when I arrived.

The studio has plenty of props and different themed spaces, easy parking off road. Always a pleasure to shoot here.

Andy is always happy to offer advice if asked but this time he surprised me with his tips for proper posing of a Paso Doble! You dark horse Andy!

Its been 2 years since I last shot at Kempston Studios and in the intervening period nothing has changed - this is a great space in which to work

Andy is a great host and nothing is to much trouble to assist / ensure you can get the images you want - he also makes a great coffee and had a great play list on during the day

The studio is well equipped, packed with props and is a bit like the Do Who's Tardis in so far as there are numerous sets to work with limited only by your own imagination

Will I shot there again? - yes already booked once more in November and then again in December

My third shoot at Kempston Studio was with the very talented Olga Solo, a model not to be missed if you can find time in your diary to book her.

Andy greeted me with his customary enthusiasm, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble for him throughout the session, as he assisted setting up backdrops, providing advice about lighting, lending a hand with wardrobe adjustments, and taking BTS footage.

It's been said many times before, but Kempston Studio should be your destination of choice if you want to unleash your creativity, in friendly, fun, and professional surroundings. Although I opted for monochromatic, infinity backdrops for the editorial styling I wanted, Kempston Studio can provide a variety of settings, and a seemingly limitless supply of props to make any shoot a success.

I would recommend Kempston Studio without a moments hesitation to any photographer wanting to achieve great results, and just know that I'll be going back soon.

I had my first shoot at Kempston Studio today and it definitely won't be my last. From my arrival there I was impressed with both Andy's hosting and the quality of the studio. There was everything you would wish for on site and with Andy being such a great host, moving things around between sets to accommodate the next requirement, shoots really flow well. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile, professional and helpful studio. I'll definitely be back there again soon.
