I had a fantastic weekend at Kempston last weekend on two studio days. WOW!

What a fantastic studio and studio owner- Andy is the most friendly, helpful, welcoming and fabulous studio owner I’ve known! Super fun, lots of great banter and jokes (albeit, dad jokes).

Andy’s pre comms were awesome- he kept me in the loop at all times with a very well organised PP event, links and info. Even printed schedules of my two studio days hung in the changing room so I had the timings and photographers list to hand! There was also a huge pile of model snacks in the changing room on arrival too- lots of treats and fruit to keep me going. Such a fabulous touch!

The most well organised studio day I’ve been to yet. Everything ran so smoothly and all of the photographers were super lovely.

Andy is clearly very knowledgable- not only with running events but with photography and lighting, helping the photographers who needed a hand setting up. Nothing was too much trouble for Andy and he was always super happy to help. He even steamed my dress for me whilst I was shooting!

My first visit to Kempston Studio this weekend and I certainly hope it will not be my last. I cannot recommend Andy and his fabulous studio enough. He is an absolute credit to the business. Can’t wait to return.

Organised Chaos

I started my photographic hobby involving models & studios in Feb 22 so 2 years later I leave this reference to the studio I booked then & now after having booked now just over 25 times (yeah I know 😳 poor Andy 😂) I leave this.

Andy has a very well equipped studio which is mentioned in many of the over 600 refs the studio has but also Andy is super keen to get more such as more to go filters , he is going to be doing tutorials on many things,Andy is my main go to for Post processing advice.

It was my first time at Andy's studio and was blown away. It's very versatile and capable of a lot of creative moods, with loads of props and setups to work with. As for the event and the hosting, it was nothing but perfect. The studio day was well organised and themed as well as the lighting and equipment was top-of-the-line. On top of that, Andy was very helpful and available if you needed any assistance. I definitely recommend this studio to anyone, 10/10!

My first time at Kempston Studio doing a Valentine themed shoot with Bambii Eyes and Kate Star. Both models were fantastic and a real pleasure to work with.

Andy was extremely welcoming and professionally prepared the sets and the lighting. The studio was really well set up with everything necessary for a great studio shoot.

Although this was my first time here, I have already booked in another shoot, which I'm sure wont be my last.

Had another brilliant experience at Kempston Studios which was not only the most fun I’ve had while shooting but also could see a change up for me as a photographer.

Shot for 4 hours for a valentines themed studio day with Kate Star and Bambiii Eyes, and with 2 other photographers as well. And I left the shoot with plenty of outstanding images which Andy(the studio owner) has described as my best work yet.

I’ve recommend marvellous studio a few times before and I’m more than happy to yet again give a strong recommendation to anyone looking. Great social environment throughout and brilliant hospitality as well, with Andy on hand to provide drinks & beverages throughout! And on hand to provide plenty of tips and advice if ever needed.

As always nothing is too much trouble for Andy & this time I used even more of the studio facilities ( & there is still more to explore!)

Whatever image you have in your head, it will be improved at Kempston.

Unlike the usual paper or fabric backgrounds, Andy has constructed fully built sets with some great lighting around them.

Back to Kempston for the first time in nearly a year. Still a warm welcome from Andy and cup of tea. So many great sets and interchangable props. Andy is always on hand to shuffle things around to get the sets you want. Always worth saying this time of year, really warm well heated studio. Will be back soon

Another perfectly organised studio event organised by Andy at Kempston studios is Bedford.

Absolultey in awe of Andys input, kindness and respect for his clients and models. The experience Andy offers is one of the kind, non shabby and is of the highest quality. If you are a beginner photographer or model, this is definatley the place to start. I trust Andy 100% to keep his models safe and happy and he goes above and beyond to assist his clients.

The studio looks the same everytime i go, yet the things that can be created under this roof are just insane. I dont think i have been once yet and not been blown away. Pairing the versalitly the studio has to offer with such a wonderful and hands on host, is just .. well, perfect .

Il look forward to attending again in July !!

As always Andy is a star and everything ran smoothly. This is one of my favourite studios. I love coming back to kempston, i know im going to be well looked after, Andy makes teas without even asking now lol. I will continue to recommend this lovely studio to all creatives

Just had my first amazing Studio Day at Kempston Studio. Andy is the perfect host for both models and photographers, he was so helpful every time we needed anything during the shoot. He also provided us coffee&tea&drinks. Andy is a lovely person and nice to be around with.

His studio is awesome with lots of different set ups and outfits too, you can find everything you need!

After having a big break from modelling due to having a baby (and losing a lot of confidence in the process) the first photographer I contacted was Andy.

We had shot together in the past and I knew how amazing he was then and still is now!.

I was instantly made to feel comfortable on arrival and Andy worked hard the whole shoot to help me achieve all the images I wanted to capture.

The studio is fully stocked with just about everything you could ever want for a shoot and ended up wearing most things that Andy had selected for the looks I was going for, he’s very knowledgeable about pairing outfits with sets and was right about everything he suggested.

The images he helped me capture are always some of my favourites and this time was no different and the confidence I felt by the end of the shoot is exactly why I started modelling in the first place.

He never pushes you to do things you don’t want to do but always supports you if there is something you’ve wanted to try and not once did I feel judged or self conscious.

Had fun the whole shoot, made sure I was comfortable throughout with drinks & food provided and he even gave me a lift home at the end.

Thank you so much Andy for the whole day and can’t wait to shoot with you in the future.

I had my first shoot with Andy yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better, he kindly picked me up from the train station and we drove to Kempston studio, which is the best studio I’ve ever been, he literally got everything you need to get the most out of your shoot :)

Andy is a great, experienced photographer who made me feel comfortable at all times and is very professional without any doubt. He explained what lighting he was using which was very helpful and interesting and showed me the photos as we shot. Can’t recommend him enough and I already can’t wait to shoot with him again (hopefully at Kempston studio !!). Thank you so much Andy :)
