Finally met the lovely Kate Star during my recent Studio Weekend at Kempston as she stopped by was such a nice surprise.

We had a good chat during my break and a mini duo shoot with Hugh and Andy. Kate is really friendly and easy to get along with and work with. Such sweet and kind girl who knows her stuff about posing and modelling.

Me and Kate have already been discussing more duo things for the future as we both live locally. Very nice to finally get the opportunity to meet this lovely model and person. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of each other in the future for sure.

So, I had my first shoot with Kate a couple of days ago, it was a blast! Being my first paid session, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised!

Kate's vibe was super warm and friendly, and she turned up with a bunch of amazing outfits that suited her to a T. Once we got snapping, she brought her own flair to the poses while also being receptive with trying out some of my ideas. The result? Pure magic! I'm seriously pleased with how everything turned out.

I'm definitely keeping Kate on speed dial for future shoots—can't wait to do it all over again!

Brilliant to work with Kate on my first studio shoot where I got my first taste of working with flashes, fill lighting and playing around with ideas, outfits, props and toys. Patient and pleasant, we'll do it again sometime for sure.

Kate & I had a two hour set at Neon Dreams Studio and boy did that two hours fly by.

We worked to a mood board I had brought along and Kate was really good at spotting props Natasha has at Neon Dreams that just seemed to work with the outfits. Kate is a workaholic sailing through prop changes and different positions. Although we only had three wardrobe changes we made them count and Im really pleased with what we achieved in such a short space of time.

Needless to say Kate is highly recommended.

This was a first shoot with Kate in my home studio and it was a real pleasure. Kate is so confident and expressive in front of the camera and supportive of creative ideas/suggestions. I was shooting tethered and Kate studied her poses and tweaked her expressions to get maximum quality from the images we created over a three hour session. I am delighted with the results and will certainly aim to work with Kate again.

Recommend her to all photographers.

Had another brilliant shoot with Kate at Kempston Studios which not only has been the best shoot yet but possibly the shoot which could be the change up for me personally.

Did a 4 hour shoot session for a valentines theme with Kate and Bambiii Eyes. Went through 3 sets of outfits with a mixture of solo and duo portraits between the 2 models while also shooting along with 2 other photographers. And after 4 hours of shooting, I came away with perhaps my best work yet!

Kate has been really complimentary having had a preview of my images from the shoot, and has been supportive and encouraging in suggesting some new things to try the next I shoot, which has been a real boost for me.

Thank you again for another magnificent shoot Kate, and for your really kind words too. Can’t wait to shoot with you again.

I booked my second shoot with Kate at TBG Studio and what a fantastic shoot it was. I love shooting with Kate as she is so happy and willing to jump straight in and make my random suggestions work. She also throws in loads of her own suggestions. It was loads of fun.

Kate brought a collection of outfits in line with my pre-comms suggestions and we also borrowed some of the TBG outfits.

The 4 hours flew by and the whole shoot was amazingly productive. When we first worked together both Kate and I were relatively new to model photography but it felt like we were both more at ease this time and so it was much easier to achieve high quality results.

Thank you so much for a lovely shoot Kate.

I recommend Kate 100% and I look forwrad to working with her again - hopefully later this year.

Kate welcomed me to her spacious flat for a home shoot.

We covered natural light and then moved on to some strobe work.

Kate is an amazing person, she is so nice, super friendly and importantly for me a creative soul.

We got some great images which I am looking forward to edit, and she is of course a fabulous model, knocks out poses with ease and has amazing input. 100 percent recommend her to anyone, can't wait to shoot her again, what a star (no pun) 😂👍⭐

After talking about it for nearly a year - Kate and I finally met up for our first shoot today at Kempston Studio. Mine was a bit of a late booking, so in the lead up to Christmas pre-shoot comms were a bit hit and miss (my fault) but we finally agreed some outfits and shoot 'stuff' - so all was good.

Kate arrived in plenty of time and more-or-less ready to shoot - make up and hair done immaculately. We chatted through a few shots, looked at the type of shots I like and then got stuck in.

Almost immediately, Kate got into the style I like and we started capturing some lovely relaxed sensual images and Kate was very pleased with what she saw on the back of the camera. At times it was almost like she knew intuitively what I was about to ask.

Kate is very relaxed and easy going and an absolute pleasure to work with. I 100% recommend to any photographer and look forward to working with her again.

I had a great shoot with Kate yesterday at Paul’s Studio in Reading. I explained to her the type of shots I like and what I wanted to take. I showed her some of my photos and some that were taken by other photographers that I really like. We started with some portrait shots and Kate quickly moved through a range of poses and suggested when to change the setting and move onto a change of clothes. On looking around the studio Kate noticed the “Sauna wall” and was very enthusiastic about using the sauna setting which we did for the end of the shoot. Paul obliging provided some “steam”.

Kate is a lovely lady and very easy to work with. She is obviously keen to get great shots and will happily suggest changes to get them. I hope she enjoyed our shoot as much as I did.

A lovely lady who is a pleasure to work with. A really enjoyable session. I thoroughly recommend her.

Just had another great shoot with Kate at her studio day at Art Asylum Reloaded in Weymouth.

As at the previous shoot, Kate was brilliant. She had some great outfits, lingerie and accessories and was also happy to make use of the studio items. She had lots of ideas for the shoot and worked hard to make sure I got the shots I was looking for.

A pleasure to work with, definitely very highly recommended and I certainly hope to work with her again.

Had another excellent studio day with Kate.

She arrived on time after a long journey but was straight into working with first photographer and as with all the photographers she worked with on the day she got fantastic shots for them.

She even did some video with the last videographer which was different for her but she absolutely loved.

She is such a pleasure to work with and always happy and smiling and as a studio owner it makes my day so much easier.

We are planning our next studio day and I can’t wait to have her back here (one day we will shoot as well)

I'd not shot with Kate before until today...and I'll be shooting with her again, and again! I had a fun shoot at Kate’s recent studio day at Art Asylum Reloaded Studio. We shot some video on green screen which was a learning curve for Kate, but she was brilliant. Her eagerness was second to none, and she learned fast. I found her a very nice person to work with. We were endeavouring to make video loops for stock; I am so glad she enjoyed it and was pleased with the first output from me. I’d recommend her to work with.

Kate is a model I had wanted to work with for a while so when the opportunity came up I jumped at it. This shoot exceeded my expectations.

From the first communications Kate was on the task of finding a local studio. She was relentless till we had something secured pulling in favours to get to get the studio.

We arrived within minutes of each other and Kate was ready to start the shoot straight away. We reviewed the studio, the outfits she brought and the outfits I had brought. Having decided on the outfits and the order we started the shoot.

Kate is keen to try new outfits, poses and concepts and it was a fabulous and created shoot with collaboration at its core.

Kate is a professional to the core who has fantastic interpersonal skills and makes everyone feel at ease.

A creative shoot that neither of us wanted to end just reinforces that we will work together again in the near future.

Totally recommend Kate to any photographer or studio owner.

Despite an unfortunate bit of miscommunication on my part at the beginning, I had a really good shoot session with Kate.

Good pre-comms and receptive to directions during the shoot. Really good pose knowledge, never appearing unsure of what to do next etc.

Great commercial look and really knows how gaze down the barrell of the lens.

Thoroughly enjoyable shoot with some great results at the end.

Started chatting to Kate a few months ago, but a good date opened up where we could book a shoot.

Discussed mood boards prior to the shoot. Posed amazingly but was able to take directions.

Really pleased with the images from the shoot, went through some lighting setups that I have not used before and I will be using them again for sure.

I had an unexpected chance to shoot with Kate again.

The booking was last minute but I am really glad she was able to fit me in.

Kate has a wonderful personality she is hard working and not afraid to offer suggestions to improve the shots.

The shoot produced some great results and again especially the close ups.

This is the third time I have shot Kate and would highly recommend her, looking forward to the next shoot

Had my third shoot of the year with Kate at Kempston Studio and it was another fun filled session with plenty of great images taken.

Communication prior to shooting was grand as I presented to her the plan I had and what outfits would be needed for the shoot. And on the day of shooting, we blitz through 2 hours of shooting with absolute ease. Kate pulled off some great poses through-out the shoot, took direction well when needed, and in-between shooting; still found time to have a joke and a laugh.

Photographing and working with Kate has been an absolute privilege and I really look forward to working with her again in the new year!

I highly recommend Kate who brought her own looks to the shoot. She is friendly, easy to get on with but also professional and easy to collaborate with. She takes direction but also brings her own ideas. This was a group shoot, and she never lost enthusiasm and focus throughout the evening. I hope to work with her again soon.
