I had the great pleasure of having John visit me in Kent to do a shoot in my apartment...and I am so pleased we arranged it.

John arrived on time by train from London and we spent four fantastic hours doing a mainly nude shoot. The time just flew by and I really enjoyed working with John who is an inventive and creative photographer that fits in my 'want to work with again' category.

Not only that, he is a great guy and I feel like we are friends already.

Hope to shoot again later this year and wish now that we lived closer to each other so that we could do this more often.

He is very creative and create amazing pictures with differents lenses ,

Had a long desired shoot with John, had been nearly 2 years since we last shot!

John had an array of cameras and lenses as usual to not be at the least surprised, we shot in my home where i shoot from:) All good fun, relaxed artistic nude and toned shots. I have not shot much this year since may so this was a lovely re-introduction. Looking forward to the images as I want to add some new additions to my portfolio :)

John is more than recommended in my book I was previously shooting with john on a regular basis since we met around the summer of 2015 and i have relocated 3 times since then, and in them times has been able to shoot while with me relocating. P.s Models be prepare your home for the winter!

John shot at my home after a long time of not shooting i re introduced myself, we used to shoot on a regular basis and he has shot with me while being living at other premises before and when we met since 2015 have been shooting. He had a array of cameras and lenses as not to be surprised about :p quite the enthusiast. We shot artistic nude and shade and tone primarily in my bedroom. was a fun and relaxed down to earth shoot John is more than recommended in my book. He has a subtle and elegant imagination and everyone should shoot with him, he would give amazing additions to your portfolio. I have not yet had the chance of shooting on locations with him due to my fault. I loved the images and looking forward to my port being updated :)

Have worked with John for many many times now since the first time i started modelling 4 years ago. John is very down to earth and has a great love for photography vintage tech for cameras. I love working with him he is a great photographer and we always seam to make tonnes of lovely images without much effort at all. We shot in the top room of my home which hasnt been used much before with the black background, then on the corridor and other areas of the house hunting for some great use of natural light. I of course reccommend John 100% and to other models also :)

I had yet another shoot with John last week.

We are back on to working together again more regularly (which already speaks volumes for a reference).

Creative and easy to work with as ever, every shoot is always super productive.

I always feel safe and at ease whilst working with John and we always get some beautiful shots together.

He is so easy to converse with and brings a great atmosphere to each shoot.

Unfortunately our last shoot was cut short due to me feeling unwell. However, John was very understanding about this and also incredibly patient with the offer of allowing me to make up the time on our next shoot, so unfortunately he has to put up with me again fairly soon :P but I am looking forward to it.

I have worked with John for many many years now in fact most of my modelling career I have been shooting with John and every shoot just gets better and better!

John is one of the nicest and most professional photographers I work with, he is a complete gentleman and is always respectful and is incredibly easy to work with!

His photography skills have just got better and better and he has some fab ideas! We always get amazing results and every time we shoot we always achieve something better than last time.

I hope to work with John again and again for as long as he wants to shoot me I will work with him! He is an absolutely lovely man and amazing photographer. There are not enough words or numbers as to how much I highly recommend John! All round fantastic!!!

I had a fantastic shoot with John! :) Such a lovely, kind, gentle mannered, sincere, wonderfully polite and courteous gentleman! Totally professional and respectful, he looked after me well, and ensured that I was safe and comfortable at all times. His pre-comms were excellent, and upon meeting him I felt immediately at ease and happy within his presence. John is very warm, friendly, open and approachable!

We had originally planned a shoot up near Barmouth, where he was staying, but at the last minute we had to change our plans due to bad weather, and John came down to Aberystwyth instead. It became more of a spontaneous shoot, hopping around from various different locations and just working with the weather as best we could. It turned out to be really good fun indeed - I thoroughly enjoyed myself, as I clambered about various trees or made shapes in derelict chapel windows! I was especially pleased as John could see the beauty and potential in a very small and grotty derelict cottage (just as I can), where many would be hesitant to even step inside, let alone see anything worth working with, once inside. That means a lot to me!

John is able to adapt to different situations, and is very creative in his approach to his photography. Each location we went to was totally different to the other, and yet he took everything in his stride, unfazed by the cold wind and rain that whipped around us at times. He works in an unhurried way, relaxed, unpressured. He gives good direction but allowed me to be spontaneous and react to my environment too. It was very much a collaborative process to get the images.

John was great company and made fab conversation throughout the day. He's a great photographer to work with! He has a wealth of experience and a diversity of knowledge. This man is amazing - he had a whole car full of different cameras! His work is very good indeed - very creative! He was very generous in supplying me with images afterwards too!

Absolutely 100% recommended - many thanks John for a really super shoot - I am very much looking forward to working with you again! :) :) ☺

John is a true star! We hit it off instantly on our very first shoot some time back (neither of us realised just how much time had flown!) and then we have just recently worked together for a second time... this time getting the chance to head outside on location at Joel Hicks Photographic having teamed up with photographer Chrism8. John and I had kept in touch after a stupendously productive first meeting with the mutual intention of setting up a second shoot - then, hey-presto we nailed it again! :D John advised that working with Chris would be a cracking team combination, and he was on-pointe... John recognises quality in a shoot and knowing the parties involved he knew exactly that it would be as unique and diverse as any 1 to 1 shoot because the difference in creative eye's on board the team flourished wonderfully and the shots were distinct.

I was very excited to see John with another epic camera feature on our shoot this time - I have been shot with Infrared once before and loved the effect it gave on the images. It's the kind of look to a picture that really does such a location stunning pride and John is literally on-pointe with his talented visions of depicting the right tlc to give a moment in time. Even the unedited proofs are absolutely fabulous; it really does prove that when a photographer is passionate about seizing angles/composition/technical attributes all in a split second to produce a beautiful image then the wow-factor of the results go right off the scale big time. It's far more than just pressing a shutter and I think John shows this immensely in the care and attention he puts into getting it right. :) We did artistic, we did dreamy, we did sensual, we did abstract, we did casual... and after all the wonderful yield we got out and about/in the natural light of the log cabin - we even grabbed some beautiful controlled lighting in the studio as well! Such a prolific session and it really doesn't feel like two minutes between our shoots because we bounced off each other like just before. John always welcomes input from his models and treats the whole thing as such a joint-effort. I really enjoy working with him.

Plenty of pretty pictures, plenty of creative-spin, plenty of laughs and chatter... what else could you want from a photo shoot as a model? On top of that, John is the most respectful and compassionate gentleman this industry could have as a "standard" and I cannot stress how much courtesy he gives to everyone involved in a shoot. Given that we were shooting in a mini-group this time, John and Chris worked around each other without any agro at all. Professional conduct until the end and lots of cups of tea/coffee thrown in the mix as well. :)

John's communications have always been the best; we get shoots organised so efficiently and he replies promptly to help me organise my diary. I just cannot recommend him enough - what a star photographer and I always look forward to the opportunity of shooting again in the future. :)

A superb shoot today with John in a combined shoot with Keira Lavelle, John's easy to work with, we share similar styles and can shoot alternative styles with different lighting at the same time with both respect for each other and the model.

Technically John's superb, a different camera / lens for each of John's unique styles and a great result each time.

Highly recommended, good fun on every shoot and excellent company.

It has been a while since we'd shot so while it was warm and sunny we arranged a outdoor art nude shoot however today was not warm and sunny but rather cold so spent a lot of time warming up between sets. But we managed to get some great pics and even a extra set with a completely different idea. I'm looking forward to working with John again

Today John and I ventured to a new studio with not a lot more than our imaginations (and Johns extra special kit) to work with. I suggested an idea to which John developed, expanded and redirected. We had an amazing shoot (shoots with John always are to be fair though). Todays featured a lot of new territory for me and I learnt rather a lot regarding lighting! Truly amazing shoot. My second shoot with John, this time 4 hours at his home studio.

He looked after me really well with plenty of warm up breaks and cups of tea.

He showed me all his film cameras and how they worked which was really cool to see too :)

We worked our way through several different sets using natural light to start with then after a short boudoir style shoot moving on to a black background and one light set up to finish the shoot. Focusing on majority art nude poses we got tonnes done in the time we had.

Really lovely guy and would happily recommend him :)
